These remove excess oil leaving a matte finish but not as well as other blotting papers. All this means is you have to use more sheets. For my combination skin I use 1-2 sheets at a time.
I prefer to have a few packs of these stored in different handbags/car etc, than buy a more expensive brand, but oiler skins might not find it annoying having to use several sheets at a time.

Not much to say about this, it does what it says on the package, accept for the pore minimizing... not sure about that once. But this is a great, cheap and effective oil blotting product. The only thing wrong is the packaging is so weak, it really takes a beating in my bag so I prefer not to carry it around.

I have about 15 of these as back-ups. I keep a pack at work at all times because I end up blotting about 4x/day @ the office.
while they are smaller than the boscia papers, I still only use one per blot. They never fall apart or tear during use either.

I love these sheets and I keep them everywhere! They remove oil well and do mattify. I have very oily skin, so these are amazing. And for $1, they are a steal!

I seriously don't know why some people are complaining. Its only a dollar! This is seriously so cheap! And it works pretty well. Blotting sheets are really basically just tissue paper, so I don't understand why they're usually so expensive. I've used clean n clear and this product and honestly the only things I find different are the color of the sheet and the price.
I definitely recommend! Will repurchase.

I like the Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets better.. The elf one tends to rip easily and i feel like it doesnt absorb a lot of oil. after using it, i still feel oily in some areas but hey! its cheap so not much to expect. it didnt work well for me but still try it yourself!!!

Very nice blotting sheets- I always used expensive versions of blotting paper, but when I found these, I knew they were gonna work good. It claims it "absorbs oil and shine" (yes), "mattifies shiny skin" (sure) "pore minimizer" (no but who cares), "eliminates shine and keeps skin matte for hours" (yup) "retexturize skin and masks facial imperfections" (dude, they're blotting sheets, not a miracle foundation!!). I don't like the smell, but it really doesn't matter. It does mattify the areas that you use it on, and it generally is a very nice product which is very handy. The small packaging makes it great for on-the-go; I always take this when I travel and use it during a flight. The $1 price is super awesome, but the cardboard packaging is not very durable.

I love this product. Before this, I used the Clean & Clears which I loved. I still do. But for $1, these work really well for my skin. I do not have really oily skin, it just tends to get a bit oily halfway through the day. If you have oily skin, you might want to stick to Clean & Clear blotting sheets because these are thin. However, they do pick up all the oil off my face.

I've been carrying these around in my purse for a while now. Like others have mentioned, I usually need to use several of these to mop up all the oil on my face but at such a low price I don't mind having to use several. Usually a tissue will do the job just as well, I just like to have these handy in case I get caught with nothing else to soak up the shine.

I agree these are very affordable, but they definitely don't stack up to the Clean and Clear sheets or even, shoot, Starbucks napkins or toilet seats. One sheet is definitely not enough for your whole face unless you're really not oily. You'll definitely need more than one. They're just okay IMO.

These are great! I never wanted to buy the Clean and Clear blotting sheets because I felt like they were too expensive for what they are worth. These are only $1 and come with just as many and work just as well. They don't remove your makeup but get rid of all the grease and make your skin feel matte. I don't even touch up with powder, just these. However, they claim to be a pore minimizer, when that isn't true at all. Other than that, I cannot complain.

I like these a lot. In the past I've used Avon blotting sheets, which I will admit work MUCH better, but at a more expensive cost. These are only one dollar ^^
You might end up having to use two sheets at once, though =\
These don't take off any of your makeup, which the Avon ones DO.
I don't keep them in the original package, I keep them in the hard plastic re-usable case for my Avon sheets. It looks less cheap ^^
I have and WILL repurchase <3

You should get this because it has NO MINERAL OIL, it takes off the oil easily, and it's convenient and healthier than powder.
Someone who's an oilslick may want something more heavy duty.
It doesn't break me out and one pack lasts long! I'm a bit oily on my forhead and nose but with these $1 sheets, not.at.all.
Take it or leave it:)

I have extremely dry skin and use some moisturizers on my face that cause it to look oily at times. Because of this, I like to have oil-blotting sheets in my purse to touch-up throughout the day. For the past few years, I have been using the Clean and Clear sheets which cost about $6 for 50 sheets, but when my Target started selling e.l.f., I decided to try their oil-blotting sheets because they only cost $1. While the price it great, these things just don't absorb much oil at all, at least not with just one sheet. With the Clean and Clear sheets, I could use one on my whole face, making my face matte, but with these, my face still looks oily after using two sheets!! I realize it would still cost less to use 3-4 of the e.l.f. sheets as compared with 1 of the others, but it's just a hassle to do that. I'd gladly pay the 5 extra dollars for the Clean and Clear sheets!

Confused on why people like these my skin is crazy oily and these don't pick up oil. I am going to stick with my clean and clean blotting sheets.

I think these are a great bargain for only $1 each. I don't know that I can notice any difference in pore size and it does not totally mattefy the face in the same way that you would get with a powder to absorb oil. I do like to have these in my bag for a quick and easy touchup on the go. These would not be my first choice for really fixing my makeup or getting rid of oil but there aren't any out there that match this price. I would say that the packaging could be a little better than the paper. It is sometimes hard to take out just one sheet, sometimes two or so come out at a time. Something great to use in a pinch and it does not disturb makeup.

These blotting sheets hardly soak up any oil -- since I have very oily skin, I have to use so many of these sheets that it's not even worth it. I've found other brands that do a much better job for me (e.g. Clean and Clear). However, since these are so cheap they are worth a try if you're not super oily -- they might work better for slightly oily skin.
Another con in the packaging: while the package is nice and slim to fit in your purse, it's very difficult to pull a single sheet out of the box. I wish the lid had some adhesive on it to grab the sheets like the other brands I've tried.

Bought this just because it is ONE DOLLAR. It's an oil blotting paper or as they would call it, Professional Shine Eraser. Works just as good as any other blotting paper. There is absolutely nothing to dislike but there is nothing to rave about either, unless you factor in the dirt cheap cost. If you just need to blot oil, spend a dollar on this. Well worth it.
