I actually REALLY love this stuff. I think it smells great. So what, no real shimmer? I don't care. I bought it for the smell. And as a girl with curls, the gel works well to lightly hold down frizzies and not flatten my ringlets. (I have 3b curls, 3a on a good day)
It's sad that I can't find it anymore. I'm pretty much out.

I absolutely love this product! I used it all the time! I havent been able to find it anywhere though :( It smells soo good and it gives your hair the right amount of shimmer. The gel comes really easily, and i don't hve to get my hands sticky and icky since i can just spray it :) amazing product! I will repurchase if i can find it in store.

I loved this product! I don't know why the sparkles aren't showing up on some people, but they always show up on my hair! It makes my hair really sparkly & gorgeous. This is probably the best stuff I have ever used in my hair. The scent is really nice as well. I started using this product about 3 years ago, & have yet to find one that compares to this for me. I'd recommend this product to anyone. Plus I love how it is gel & it sprays on like hairspray!

I like this! I spritz this on my hair while its still damp about 3-4 times all over. It makes my hair look really shiny, but not greasy. If you look close, you can see the shimmer, plus it smells good! I dont see these anymore in the store, so i think they may have DC the shimmer line??

Smells great, so maybe it's good as a hair fragrance, but this didn't seem to provide any shimmer at all. My hair tends to soak up sprays and gels, maybe that's why, but really I couldn't see any difference at all. Not thrilled with the sprayer either, it didn't spritz into a mist, it just kinda squirted globs everywhere. But even the globs weren't visibly shimmery! Six dollars for no result is not too pleasing. Will not repurchase, I'll be lucky if I ever even use the one I have.

I bought this about a year ago for prom and never really used it much after that. Finally, when I moved i decided to give it a try. The nozzle had broken, so it no longer sprays but I just scooped it off the sides of the straw and rubbed it through my damp hair. the shimmer is pretty subtle, but it smells good and it has a nice, light hold that seems to tame my frizzies. wouldn't buy again, but I will use it up eventually
edit: changed the nozzle to one from an old product I'd used up and it sprays a really fine mist, which makes it sooo much nicer. Just in time for summer :)

i love this stuff when i first saw it i was like o man this has got to be the best invention since horse crapp right LMAO!!!anyways i bought it and the smell ooo man its amazing how great it smells i love it ...i have to spray it only a few sprays maybe 1 or 3 sprays and i look like cinderellas ballgown on my hair its so great it is kinda expensive tho almost 6 dollers nd something for one of these but hey i guess u only get what you pay for right

I LOVE this stuff! It smells amazing & its so pretty. I spray this 2 times in my hair and i can literally see the shimmer/sparkles. Its amazing. It makes my hair 'glow' Haha it sounds wierd, but true. It is pretty expensive, but ive had this bottle for almost a year and its half full. Will repurchase again

this smells soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!!! it gave my hair the little shimmer that it needed and made my hair look shinier and healthier. i like this better than my salon stuff which is around $30 a bottle for a tinnyy bottle.... awesome product!

This is a product that i use all the time, but not really sure if it does much haha. It smells good thats for sure. I wouldnt repurchase again just because i do not really need this item.. and it was kinda pricey.

This stuff worked pretty well for me. I typically use a mousse or cream and this is my first dive into gel/spray gel in about 15 years. It gave me really good hold and I even got better wave definition with this than the wave sprays. It also gave me volume which was an unexpected surprise. I didn't really notice the shimmer until I went outside and I saw my reflection in the car window. I could see the sparkle in the sunlight. Just the right hint for my light blonde hair. To bad I didn't notice it in artifical light. Not a bad product at all.

I only picked this up because it was $1 after my coupon. The shimmer only shows up when I first spray on it. The gel gives only a little bit of hold. It sure smells good, though! I have black, very long straight hair. Maybe the shimmery just slides right out, or my hair is too dark. Who knows? Maybe my niece will like this.

I love this stuff!It leaves just enough shimmer on my hair and does not make it look wet or oily.I like that it does more than just add shine and that it makes my hair shimmer without big chunks of glitter that make you look like your going to the disco.

The only way I've managed to use this with any kind of success is to spray it on mostly wet hair before blow-drying. It sort of defeats the "gel" purpose, but when I used it on mostly dry or completely dry hair, it made it stiff and dull. When I spray it on wet hair and then dry, it leaves incredibly subtle sparkles (not sure anyone would notice unless they were searching for them), but the best thing about it (maybe the only redeeming quality, actually) is the smell. It smells great. I wanted this to be more fun than it was. I'll use it up because I like the scent, but I won't repurchase, as it serves no other purpose for me.

This made my blonde hair look very dull. I was very disappointed.
Edit 01/01/2010: Pulled this out of my closet and tried it again. The glitter doesn't really "shimmer" or enhance shine in any way, but it does seem to give a thickening effect when used just simply as a spray gel. Must use a modest amount or it will look dull. The spray works nicely. Oftentimes products with glitter tend to clog easily and then quit working all together. This bottle sprays really well.

I give this product an extra lippie just because it smells good. But the shimmer doesn't show up at all (unless you clump the sparkles together) and the gel isn't very strong.
