I received a deluxe sample of this (0.5 oz, 15 ml) and have been using it for about a week.
I find that it smells like Lemon Pledge, which is not something I want in a body lotion. I've been using it on my hands and arms since having the smell on my face gives me a headache. Also, I'm hoping I can use it up faster and throw away the tube.
The texture of the sunscreen is thick and not very moisturizing. Usually higher SPF = thicker texture, but in this case there is the worst of both worlds. It also leaves a very noticeable white cast that takes a while to fade. Will not be purchasing.

Juice Beauty's SPF 15 Green Apple Moisturizer is a "multi-tasking, lightweight daily moisturizer that combines chemical free, broad spectrum sun protection with age defying peptides, DMAE, alpha liporic acid, Co Q10, and organic fruit antioxidants to revitalize and protect for optimum age defying benefits." This moisturizer is formulated for all skin types, but isn't recommended for those with sensitive skin. This moisturizer supposedly contains a slew of natural fruit and plant ingredients, the benefits of each is thoroughly explained on Juice Beauty's website. This moisturizer is supposed to be "effective for hyper pigmentation, dark spots, and uneven skin tone and texture." Juice Beauty products are not tested on animals, in fact, this brand has an extensive set of "Eco Values". Juice Beauty purchases most ingredients locally, many of them certified organic. Juice Beauty products are made in the USA. Green Apple Moisturizer is a 2011 In Style Best Beauty Buy winner. I received a .5fl oz (15ml) sample in my July Glam Bag. The full 1.7fl oz retails for a very pricey $38. Juice Beauty products are available on the brand's website, or in store at Ulta.
Packaging for the sample size of Green Apple Moisturizer is pretty appealing. A white squeeze tube with grey screw on cap. The Juice Beauty logo is grey and bright green - the color of a green apple. The front of the tube also features the name of the product and a little "certified organic ingredients" emblem. The back of the tube features lots of info, ingredients, descriptions, warnings, the works. The text is really little though. The tube, as you can expect from an eco-friendly company, is recyclable. The full size packaging is quite different, it appears to be a bottle with a pump and actually looks quite fancy.
Green Apple has a thick texture, like sunscreen; if I didn't know any better I'd have thought this was meant to be just a facial sunscreen, not a moisturizer. It's not very emollient at all. It's difficult to apply because it's thick, dry, pasty formulation. This moisturizer takes a while to sink in. You really need to rub it in well, or your face will have an unflattering white cast to it. Juice Beauty's Green Apple Moisturizer isn't good for the eye area, in my opinion, it's a little too heavy. This stuff gets in my crease and creases. Have you ever had a moisturizer crease on you before? Cause I'm pretty sure that's unheard of. Not winning me over in the application department, it's a little difficult to work with.
Do the results make up for the poor application? Not really. It hasn't really helped my uneven skin tone or texture, and it didn't deliver any anti-aging benefits, not that I was looking for them. Then again, I've only been using Green Apple for two weeks today, probably not enough time for it to actually be beneficial. Green Apple Moisturizer isn't very moisturizing. At first it gives a light amount of hydration, but after a couple minutes my skin starts feeling rubbery and strange. After the rubberiness wears off 10-15 minutes later, my skin feels quite soft, but not very quenched.
Juice Beauty's Green Apple Moisturizer has a strong, perfumey scent. It's a nice scent, but it's too strong for a facial moisturizer, it'd be more suited for a body lotion. The scent kinda reminds me of Apple Jacks cereal. It smells like fake green apples with a twist of lemon. Pleasant, refreshing, I'd just rather it not be on my face. The scent lingers for about 10 minutes after application. Annoying.
Juice Beauty's Green Apple Moisturizer is a product I wanted to love. Really, I was so excited about getting this in my Glam Bag. I thought it was going to be my favorite item of the month. I was really let down. The texture is too much like a sunscreen and not enough like a moisturizer. The scent is really nice, just not for the type of product it is. I'd call Green Apple softening as opposed to moisturizing. "Juice Beauty's Green Apple Facial Softener" sounds good, I think. On an up note, packaging is lovely. I definitely won't be purchasing a full size of this product, though I probably wouldn't even if I loved it, I just don't have an extra $40 in my budget for a moisturizer with mediocre results. I wouldn't recommend it, I don't find it effective enough to justify the price, but try it if a sample is ever offered to you.

UPDATE: NOT A FAN ANY MORE. KEPT GETTING BLACKHEADS ON THE NOSE, NOT BREAKOUTS, BUT STILL GROSS. MY SKIN WAS LOOKING OLDER AND OLDER. NOW I AM USING NEUTROGENA HEALTHY SKIN WITH GLYCOLIC AND SPF 15 AND AM SHOCKED BY THE DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY AND PRICE!!
Most moisturizers break me out and this one is actually safe. Phew. Smells soooooooo good and I like that I am putting organic ingredients on my skin. You can definitely feel the glycolic in here, but I think that with time my skin will get used to it. This one is good for sensitive, acne prone skin concerned with uneven tone and aging.

I got this as a sample at Sephora when I went in to find a really nutrient packed moisturizer for my face. I have been using it for over 2 weeks now and I love it. No breakouts, no issues, and I think it smells fine. I will be purchasing this as soon as I use up my sample. I really wanted to invest in something healthy for my skin, so I decided this is the product. I can't say if it helps with wrinkles or anything like that, but I can say that my skin looks good, to the point a friend asked me what I have been using on my face and went out and bought it the next day. Because of that, I am going to have to keep this product in stock, because it is obviously working well.

This is the first SPF product that I could actually tolerate. I did not want to use any chemical sunscreens because apparently they are not very stable and could actually produce free radicals. What I like about this product is that it does not dry my skin out. It leaves it nice and moist. It smells like lemon when you first apply it, but the smell disappears in minutes. And finally, there is no SPF STINK....no white residue on your skin. I think it's a bit pricey, but I can tell that it will last me for at least 3-4 months. I would use this during spring / summer time.

Best non-chemical sunscreen I've tried so far. Unlike the other tinted, terrible-smelling, non-moisturisinf tinted moisturizer by Juice Beauty, this one has a pleasant smell, light, easily absorbed texture and an adequate amount of moisture for summer days. They have to change the packaging ASAP but other than that, highly recommended for skins that aren't too dry or too oily.

Love this product! I've been searching for an organic moisturizer that also has spf and this is it! I have extremely acne-prone skin. If my skin doesn't like a new product, it immediately breaks out. My skin has actually never looked better and those fine little lines that have started to appear as I get close to 30 are gone! The only con is that my skin is a tad shiner then it used to be, but a little dab of Mac Blot powder in the morning and I'm good to go for the rest of the day. At $38, it is a bit expensive but it's worked better than any other product Ive tried. Next I'm going to purchase the serum for nighttime and the eye cream as well!

This moisturizer stinks! Literally and figuratively! It dries out my skin and i can't deal with the citrus smell. The packaging is terrible. There is no tube at the bottom of the pump, and I could barely squeeze anything out. Back to Sephora it goes!

I bought this and began using it a few months ago. I loved the light 'apple' smell, the moisturizer is light and sinks in easily and doesn't leave me too greasy by mid-day. What I didn't like was the packaging. Like most of the other reviewers, I also had to open the bottom of the pump and push up the inside part when the pump stopped dispensing the lotion. This is a HUGE pain in the mornings when I am in a hurry and I had a few explosions of lotion all over the bathroom when I pushed it up to much. I think this is probably a good product for normal to oily skin but it is too light for dry skin. I never finished the bottle, however. I got a BAD case of prickly heat after spending a day in the sun at my nephew's graduation and ended up returning this lotion even though I know it wasnt responsible for the rash. I just got tired of the process to get the lotion out of the container. I might buy this again, but I see Juice has a new organic facial moisturizer concentrate available at Sephora which I'll probably try when I run out of my current lotion.

this product has a nice fresh scent. compared to some other moisturizers with sunscreen, this one is lighter and sinks right into my skin. However, it does leave like a white cast on your skin.

I purchased this from Sephora after reading the online reviews here. I liked the product itself but the packaging is really problematic. The moisturizer has a nice, fresh scent that isn't overpowering and it does a good job at creating a smooth and soft effect with my skin. I like that it's organic - that was one of the initial reasons I purchased it. This is one of the very few moisturizers with sunscreen that didn't cause a sever allergic reaction with my skin. The only drawback for me is the pump. I'd purchase again anyway though.

A fantastic, no-brainer, paraben-free, natural, light moisturizer - great for my oily skin. I discovered this in the Sephora Sun Kit for 2008 and immediately got a full-size. I love the scent (light and green appley) and the way it feels - absorbs superfast too. My only issue is the packaging and I'm so glad I'm not alone. The cap shattered in a gazillion pieces almost immediately just from holding it too tightly while I was removing it. The pump gets clogged so when you press down, you have to press hard, and the product shoots out superfast and far so you have cleanup after. I have to pump this onto the back of my hand to ensure it doesn't end up on the wall across the room...lol...
EDIT: The pump stopped working b/c the product gets stuck up the sides and on the tube so I have to open this every time I want to use it. This stuff belongs in a tube, not a pump. The bottle lasts forever thought...

Well, it smells nice. A lemony apple scent that lasts about 7 minutes after application. The consistency isn't bad - a standard lotion that absorbs nicely. It gave a nice dewy finish on first application. Sadly, I'm not a fan of dewy. It doesn't break me out. That's a bonus. After 2 hours of wear, I found that my T-zone felt oily. My cheeks, however, felt nicely moisturized. I think this particular product would work better for someone with drier skin.

I really like this moisturiser and keep coming back to it despite its high price (£32), and the fact that it is hard to find in stores in the UK (I buy from the US now) and also isn't a high spf. Having said that the AHA content is just right to actually do something but not so high that it makes skin sensitive.I find this fluid leaves my rather darkish Asian complexion with a quite radiant lustre and smooth base for make up. As a sunscreen -because it is purely mineral it does not prevent pigmentation in me but I am resigned to that as high PPD sunscreens always have yucky ingredients that make me break out , and also I don't mind wearing a hat & sunglasses .But as a daily mosturiser it actually makes my skin look & feel better- more refined and healthy ,has never caused spots and is very pleasant to use.

Im new to Juice Beauty, but when I was looking for an all-purpose sunscreen for my 44-year-old oily, acne-prone face, I followed the advice of a friend and tried this.
Green Apple smells wonderful, though to me a little more like citrus than apple, and it absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving no uncomfortable, makeup-spoiling oiliness. No breakouts, either, and my face is very easy to cause to break out. I didn't notice any whiteness, either, on my NW15 skin. On me, at least, Green Apple is colorless.
I just bought a trial size this time, but if it continues to perform like it did the first time I used it, I'll definitely be buying a full-size soon! I wouldn't mind if a full-size were cheaper than $38, but for a cruelty-free, high-quality product like this, I'm willing to pay a bit more.
NOTE: SkincareRX.com sells a "try me" size for $8.00.

It feels nice on my skin when I tried it for the first time.
My skin is really sensitive, gets dehydrated from overexposure to the sun and probably from drinking too much coffee (?). It's prone to irritation like rashes and itching with some moisturizers I have used before, but with the Juice Moisturizer, I didn't get any of those symptoms of skin irritation when I got up after moisturizing with it the night before; so I will definitely buy it again once I ran out of it!
Now what I want to find out is if it would give my skin a healthy glow and radiance on long term use. :)

I love this! It's my HG moisturizer. I too was frustrated by the pump at first, but like Yuriko mentioned you simply take the silver cap off the bottom of the bottle and push up. It's a very light moisturizer so I wouldn't recommend it to those with very dry skin, but it works like a charm on my combination skin. I love that it's natural, with SPF and alpha hydroxy. My skin is glowing. Great product.

This is probably the most lightweight moisturizer with sunscreen that I've ever used. I think it has just the right amount of moisture without feeling too sticky or greasy (which is a big concern for me). I love that it has sunscreen and the scent is absolutely delicious... its like a tart, lemony fruit scent that is not cloying and does disappear after a few minutes so you don't smell like a lemon all day. Once you figure out how to get the pump to work (Thank you Yuriko... your tip is wonderful and it does work!), then it's a breeze to use. I love using all-natural products on my face and this stuff just seems so fresh, light, and yummy. Although I find this a bit expensive ($38 dollars for a moisturizer on a college student's budget?) I will probably end up buying this again.

The product is good - will leave a bit of white cast, but I love that it has both SPF and has fairly natural ingredients.
NOW - the packaging is horrible. Every initial pump each morning causes the product to fly everywhere - literally. It sprays out in all directions and I am probably still going to find little drops of it over the next few days in random places in the bathroom. Oh well.... I guess I could always resort to unscrewing the top off everytime I want to use it.

For everyone who's frustrated with this product because of the pump -- I think there might be an easy fix. You take the silver cap off the bottom of the bottle and push up the bottom of the bottle as far as necessary to get the pump working again. (I figured this out only after seeing instructions on the bottle for the cheaper Juice Organics moisturizer, which is in an identical bottle.)
I had almost given up on this product because of the pump, but I'm so glad that (I think) I've resolved the problem. I **love** this sunscreen -- it has a lovely texture, natural ingredients, no unnecessary chemicals. I let it absorb for a few minutes before I put makeup on, and it leaves a really nice smooth texture.
