I agree with BasiaS that this is very much like Dawn Spencer Hurwitz's Arabian Musk, only far, far less expensive. It's also somewhat diluted in comparison, but at this price I won't quibble--I'll happily roll on a bit more. Very light musk--more noticeable after a half-hour, then at its strongest after a few hours. Maintains its strength on the skin for 24+ hours--I have even smelled it faintly after showering, which is odd for such a light scent. On clothes, it lasts for at least a week. Not like any other musk I've tried. It's not powdery, has little to no sillage, is not soapy, not fizzy, very clean, fresh, with a rosey aspect (I can't say for sure if there are any floral notes). It's a bit like Egyptian musk, but more ethereal. Reminds me a bit of "doll head" (the scent toy manufacturers sometimes add to plastic doll heads). Hard to get tired of--especially as it layers so well. I love to layer it with rosewater--clean and fresh and at the same time sensual and delicate.

I ordered all the musks from Kuumba Made and Arabian Musk is my least favourite. It kind of smelled to me like someone's skin after a long day at work, not someone who digs trenches but someone who sweats just a little throughout the day. It had this deep odor that I can't really compare to anything else but I didn't like it. It also hardly lasted more than 10 minutes.

I purchased a bunch of samples from Kuumba Made because I kept hearing how delicious the musks are. I really, really like the way this smells. It is very soft, like another reviewer wrote. The only problem I have is that this only lasts for 10 minutes on me, and then I can't smell it anymore. If it lasted longer, I would definitely repurchase.

*The* perfect musk. Very soft, simple, creamy musk with a hint of wood (or amber?). I have worn many perfumes and never gotten compliments on them (although I personally loved how they smelled). I have gotten several compliments on Arabian Musk though. It really is perfect.

A gorgeous, soft, sensual, clean white musk with floral accents. Arabian musk is in my opinion one of the softest and most beautiful musks available, and Kuumba Made's version truly stands up to the best of them. If I ever ran out of my beloved DSH Arabian Musk, I'd replace it with this. It's just as good and costs about 1/3. Available at Whole Foods.
