I bought this on a whim after reading about how amazing this NYX lipstick was but it was actually just horrible for me. It matched my skin tone pretty much perfectly which looked strange. Of course, since other people have different skin tones it will look different on them so the reason why I'm giving this 1 star is because this lipstick was ridiculously creamy and buttery to the point where it kept migrating and pretty much pooling on parts of my lips. It looked gross and milky. it also pretty much never dried so when I blotted, so much of it came off. I tried putting it in the fridge to see if that would help with the consistency but it didn't, haha. I also recall the lipstick smudging all over the tube itself though I can't remember why. I threw it out after a few weeks of it sitting in my makeup drawer.

I have the NYX round lipsticks in many shades. Most are very creamy but I will not repurchase these after I have used them up, the smell is not pleasant and it's strong.

This is my first experience with NYX's Round Lipstick. There are so many shades to choose from that I actually got a little bit overwhelmed while browsing through them at ULTA, but I kept coming back to this one because it looked so lovely in the tube. Now, I will admit that I can definitely understand why some people don't like this. It's really light, and definitely not at all pink. Of course, that's a HUGE plus for me because I've found that most nudes look entirely too pink/peach for my tastes, and I generally end up avoiding lipstick entirely because of it. This, on the other hand, is the perfect non-pink nude that I've been searching for. Thank you, NYX. :)

I wanted to like this because I've been trying to perfect the nude lip look, but this didn't work for me. It matched my skin perfectly, so my lips disappeared. That wasn't the worst part. I wanted to wear NYX Mega Shine clear lip gloss on top of it, and it really highlighted the terrible lipstick formula. Even if I barely dabbed the lip gloss, the lipstick looked like it was starting to separate. ??!!!
And if I smacked my lips together (even without the lip gloss), the lipstick was moving all over the place. The formula is just bad. I definitely prefer Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks for the same price range.

I really do like this product, a lot. The pigmentation is great, the texture is extremely creamy and smooth and not sticky. The thing that I dislike is the color itself...Circe is a very brown toned nude which doesn't really compliment my skin. It's good for a nude lipstick but it's just not peachy enough for my tastes, personally. I can't really think of too many skin tones in which this would look really flattering on and not make someone look muted out. I wish they made this with a more peachy undertone.

Luckly I got this for like $2 at a clothing boutique. It is a matte beige nude lipstick. I love nude lips but this color was just too nude for my skin tone. The consistency is waxy but it lasts I just did not like the color.

i had been wanting to try this for a long time. i love the nude lip look. like honey, this is just way too brown for my liking. nyx has yet to release a nude that suits me (sad face). it bums me out because they seem to be less drying than my fave nudes.

I love this nude lipstick!
I see that many of the reviews compain about the color of this lipstick on their skin, and how that it is too close to a skin color and makes people look dead.
Honestly, I don't think that makes sense, this lipstick is NUDE, it is supposed to make your lips disappear so you can focus on making your eyemakeup pop.
I am an asian with the skin color in the light tan range, and this lipstick is pretty much .2 of a shade darker than my skin, it can almost be used as a concealer, and I really love it! It has a semi matte finish, and I exfoliated and applied lip butter to my lips ten minutes before application to ensure smooth application.
Right off the bat, I noticed that the smell is pretty chemical-like. I have a maybelline lipstick that smells like sunscreen, but this lipstick smells like straight up chemical fume flower. Smells of lipsticks don't bother me THAT much- I just don't think too much about it. The smell is not untolerable, but it is definitely not sweet like the NYX lip cremes, or revlon's lip butter/stick or pretty much all the other drugstore brand lip products.
The consistency of this lipstick is AMAZING, it applies like soft butter, and it is extremely pigmented. Two swipes on my lips and I'm done, and no lip liner is needed if you really want a true nude lip look- the lipstick just blends in with your skin. I'm not sure about the lasting power, it lasts longer than three hours, and it does come off when you touch it, but I don't expect it to stay on since it's such a creamy lipstick. Only lipstain should stay on when you wipe at your lips.
I recommend this to people who have skin that can tan because this blends beautifully with tanned skin.
I really like the color of this on my skin, and I uploaded a picture of this onto the makeup alley description above^
The only reason I'm giving this a 4 out of 5 is because of the smell. I expect a good quality lip product to meet basic expectations of pigmentation, smell, application, lasting power and consistency. While it has great pigmentation, easy too apply, lasts long enough so that I don't have to keep applying like a paranoid person and has a good creamy consistency, it's the smell that is enough to knock out a lippy for good quality.
The bottom line? If you're looking for a good nude lipstick, you definetly should give this shade a try. It's also very affordable, I got mine very very cheap.

I loooove this lippie and color. It is perfect!!!

To be honest this lipstick got the most astonishing formula.. So silky and pigmented. The only and worst thing why I absolutely hate it is the HORRIBLE TASTE! like I got washing soap on my lips, can't stand that silly taste. Wish they will change that taste into vanilla or strawberry, something that will taste good at least not soap taste.
