This is a really strange shade. It's an extremely frosty light gold color. I never wear it on it's own because I would look insane. However, on top of a warm pinky light brown lip liner, it transforms into a gorgeous shiny rose gold color. I've been looking for that kind of lip color for ages now, when it occurred to me to try layering a sheer lipstick over a lip liner. It worked! The combination of Jordana Easyliner for Lips in Tawny and this lipstick is freakin' stunning. I wear it when I don't want my lips to over-power my eyes but I still want my lips to pop a bit. The lipstick itself surprisingly isn't drying, which I expected since it's frosty. I'm not sure about it's lasting power by itself, but when I wear it on top of the lip liner it lasts all day. the packaging is your standard lipstick packaging, I just wish it was sealed! Other than that, no complaints, really.

I just bought a tube of this after only buying lipgloss for... ever. I just always felt like lipstick wasn't glossy enough & I hated the flaking, so I didn't buy it. I wanted something that would give me a nude lip look, so I tried this with the Rimmel gloss in Unlimited Gold. I am LOVING this lipstick! It makes my lips shine without flaking or drying or making me look washed-out. With the gloss it's even better, but it's still great worn alone. It doesn't have the staying power I would expect from something called "lasting finish", but I love the color so much that I don't mind reapplying. I am going to Ulta to stock up on this. It's my new favorite lip product (my only favorite lipstick!).

Rimmel Frosted is a champagne-toned frosted shade, and it's one of my favorite everyday lipsticks.... I've worn it for many years. Deducting 1 lippie for staying power though... It is worst than some lip glosses when it comes to staying put. I actually love the shade but I don't wear it as often as I would wear it if it didn't have to be reapplied so many times.

This has been a favorite of mine since I was in high school. It's a gorgeous champagne shade with a light hint of gold, yet it's really subtle. It's a great compliment to a bronzed look and really warms up your skin. Great for summer! My only complaint is (and this goes for all Rimmel lipsticks) it doesn't last very long and needs to be reapplied rather frequently.

The color is too shiny for my preference I have medium skin tone but it looks beautiful if you put it over/under a darker color to make the color of the darker color look lighter. The things I dont like about this lipstick is the smell its very very strong and doesnt go away and usually gives me a headache, the packaging is also a downfall i dropped the lipstick and it broke...but overall the color is pretty if you pair it off with a darker color! (:

I got this product on sale for $1-2 so I don't really have anything to complain about. The color is pretty, especially on tan skin. I love nude lips so I was excited to try this, but was a little disappoined. The formula is too drying on my lips and the shimmer settles into my fine lines on my lips.
I wouldn't purchase again, but I don't mind using it up.

This is an excellent colour to wear in the summer, especially when you got a tan going on. It gives you a very sun-kissed look. The smell really nauseates me though, and I find that the lid to the lippy comes off very easily。

To just look at this color in the tube, its very frosty and that in itself made me nervous. As it did when I put it on my lips, very unappealing golden frost and my skintone=corpse. Yet I could feel it's potential and had high hopes for it considering I love every other Rimmel lipstick I own. Remedied by using a very very pale nude lip liner underneath transformed this shade into a mystical beauty. Like some Rimmel lipsticks it doesn't wear the longest so be sure to carry it with out. Would repurchase.

Ok, so i love rimmel lipsticks. theyre cheap, moisturizing, smell good, are easy to find and come in a wide variety of colours. however their packaging SUCKS! the tubes are always breaking and coming apart:(
anyway theyre just lucky i love whats inside teehee.
so i thought i could never wear nudes cuz im of medium skin tone, indian descent. i tried so many colours but all of them made me look really washed out and tired. i scoured indian makeup blogs for recs and they were good recs but i wasn't feeling the price of the recs or the colour in general. so then i was looking at rimmels lipsticks and found this! its a shimmery, pinkish, champagney, beige colour. for my medium skin its the perfect nude! lasts long, doesnt dry out my lips, or wash me out. but with this i can confidently wear colour on my lids and amp up my eyes without fear of looking over done.
i use vaseline on my lips while im getting ready, then soft lips when that is dry, then revlon colourstay foundation to cover pigmentation. then this lipstick and then i top it with a sheer, pinky or clear gloss. and there you go perfect nude lips. this is now my fave everyday lipstick especially when the eyes are heavy.

I love, love, love this lipstick. I'm too pale to wear this alone, but it looks amazing layered over lip liners or more intense lip shades. It gives a nice soft sparkle and it's neutral enough that it can be warm or cool, which makes it a really great all purpose lip product.

I don't love the consistency; it's extremely sheer, but since I don't ever wear it alone, it's not so much of an issue as to be a problem.

I do love the smell, but I just can't place it. Frankly, it's driving me a little crazy. Its a familiar smell, like candy or cookies, but it's just not coming to me. It's reminiscent of something from my childhood, I just can't figure out what. Regardless, I'll take it over the chemical or fruity smell of some lipsticks any day.

For reference, I am very fair - I don't know my MAC coloring, but am usually the lightest in any foundation line- with dyed black hair and very dark brown eyes. After seeing the reviews for Frosted, and loving most of Rimmel's nude lipstick colors, I had to have this one. I was a little concerned that it might be too light, or too frosty, for my fair complexion but no, this is a beautiful, wearable golden nude. To me, it's more like a metallic pale gold than a true nude. This description might scare you off, but don't let it; this lippie would look great on many different skin tones and would be a nice upgrade every now and then from typical nude lip looks. While I haven't worn this out yet, it seems to have the same texture and consistency of my other Rimmel lipsticks, which all last a good while without drying my lips out or being so "slick" that it wears off in half an hour. As for the smell, it doesn't bother me at all, and since I love Rimmel's lipstick, I've actually grown to like the scent. Overall, this lipstick is a must-have for nude lippie lovers (or anyone, really :) ).

I usually like Rimmel's lipsticks, I especially loved the texture and bright, fresh colors of their Cool Shine lipsticks. So when I saw this new line I couldn't resist and bought one in Frosted, which is a cool, very shimmery champagne color. It felt nice and creamy going on, and the color seemed to stay put, but from the moment I opened the tube I was totally turned off by the scent. I'm not usually particularly finicky or strange about scents, but my reaction to this was so strong I could barely bring myself to wear this lipstick again before finally throwing it out. To me it was the weirdest combination of cheap, plasticky makeup smell and grapes. No one else seems to have had this reaction so maybe I just got a bad tube...?

I had this in my make up stash for the longest time and was going through my make up the other day to give away the stuff I didn't want anymore. I put this on and loved it. Whenever I used this before it gave my lips a copper look and I HATE that. I love soft nudes. I bought this because a friend was wearing this lip color and it looked like a beautiful soft skin color but on me it looked so copper. I put it on today with concealer on my lips and I love it. I would suggest this would look the best with some concealer on your lips. My lips are very red(which I hate) so to tone them down I always put concealer on my lips or I can't really seem to get the full color of a lipstick! The smell is a little off putting for me put it does fade. I find this lipstick to be glossy as well. All in all, rimmel has some great lipsticks for cheap!:D

i don't think this is a color for fair girls. it washed me out and looked bizarre on my medium(to highly)-pigmented lips. Also, it oxidized on me. LAME, RIMMEL! i'm sticking to lipbalms from now on.

"Frosted" is NOT nude - I thought it was (I wasn't going to try it at the store!) but surprisingly, I liked what I saw. It's a light and bright shimmery bronze when in the tube, but on my lips that provide a meadow of a cherry background - it comes out almost like a metallic baby pink! It's gorgeous.

My only con, which I wish wasn't or else this would be the lip color of my dreams, is that it's very moist and just feels like it's about to slide off my lips. With lipstick I usually just relieve myself but applying a layer of chap stick on the top, but this is just too moist to believe - almost like lip gloss! I think it is highly pigmented and I will buy it again after I try out Airy Fairy and Birthday Suit. They both appear to look very promising.

Gorgeous Shimmery Champagne with Golden Frost. Very similar to MAC Gel. In fact they are so close I had to do a side-by-side comparison. So I applied MAC Gel on the left side my lips and Rimmel Frosted on the right.

~The Results~

Appearance: Gel has more golden frosty shimmer with a satin lustre finish. Rimmel has slightly less frost and has a more shiny or glossy finish. Although the colors are so similar, Gel appears to have a lighter shade of gold frost. Where Rimmel's frost looks a touch more golden-bronze.

Texture: There is a noticeable difference in how these two lipsticks feel on your lips. Rimmel is a little more slippery, it's very moist and feels lip-glossy. Gel has a drier more lipstick-like feel but is still moisturizing.

Staying Power: Gel lasts much longer. However, we are comparing a $15.00 Lipstick and a $5.00 Lipstick. There is no question MAC lipsticks are higher quality but for $5.00 Rimmel Frosted is an excellent dupe for MAC Gel. If you love shimmering champagne lipsticks and would definitely recommend you give these a try. Choose which ever one fits your budget best.

Tip:
If you apply MAC Myth as a base and then apply Rimmel Frosted, it transforms into a Cremesheen-like dupe for MAC Creme D'Nude!

I bought this lipstick on behalf of a youtube video and ended up using it every day!

It's a frosty beige nude color, may not suit a lot of people but if you apply a pink gloss on top it warms it up a little.

I love the creamy texture, the sweet smell, and it doesn't dry up my lips!

I love this!

I really like this lipstick. The color is a kind of gold-bronze-y, beige color, and you can probably make it nude if you apply some concealer on your lips or something. You do kind of have to let melt and blend into your lips a little, so i guess that's why it's not really a color for everyone. The color would be great for summer since it is bronze-y. I also don't really smell any scent coming from the lipstick. The consistancy of it is pretty decent, but it is a little drying. You probably would have to reapply it a bit throughout the day. Other than that, I think it's a great lipstick for a great price, and I would definitely purchase it again.
