I bought a perfume sample lot on E*** and the first I grabbed was Ineke After My Own Heart. I dabbed some on before taking my daughter to her doctor's appointment and was immediately sorry - just a little bit was way too powerful for the waiting room. At first the scent was a floral bouquet - no single note standing out - very generic smelling. After a few hours I smelled the lilac that is supposed to be the main note - again, very generic smelling. I won't wear this again, may even throw out the sample, definitely would never buy. I hope the other samples are way better.

This is a lovely white flowers scent with a predominant jasmine note on my skin. I find the beginning to be a bit strong, mainly due to the bergamot top note, but the scent gets softer, creamier and rounder with drydown. Although I do enjoy this fragrance, I find Frederic Malle's green, lush and gorgeous Carnal Flower and Caron's creamy, sweet Tubereuse more to my liking. This is also incredibly expensive at $265/1.8 oz (I know it's a parfum, but still...). Available at La Creme Beauty. Notes: Gardenia, Italian Bergamot, Narcisse, Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Musk.
