Before you have to read this and go through the details, I'll tell you right now what I think about this product: I like it.

Now, I have very frizzy hair. It's very frizzy and curly. I have medium curls, they're not tight. So when I use this product, (and I use a good amount-4-5 golf balls) my hair looks fantastic. My curls are defined, and frizz is eliminated! It looks like a professional did it! I get compliments all the time. Sometimes, I get asked, "Is that natural?Cause it's so pretty!" My curls are defined, and frizz free. But keep in mind that my hair is already curly, just frizzy.

How does my hair feel? Well, as it dries, it feels the teeny weeniest micro smallest hard. But when my hair completely dries (I let my hair air-dry, it's better if you want more defined curls) it's soft, and flexible, and has natural movement.

And the smell? It's great! It smells so nice! I I don't know what else to say to that besides, yeah, I get compliments about that too. My friends would randomly comment on how good my hair smells. :)

I would buy this product again.

This is my daily product, i have very naturally curly hair! I love this stuff it works so well stops any sign of frizz and it doesn't look like i'm wearing product! best low budget moose on the shelves for all year use as i use it up within 1/2 weeks expensive moose or styling products would cost a fortune and this does the job nicely!!!

This product left me with frizzy curls instead of defined ones. I don't like this product, BUT it is silicone free which is great. I only use this product when I know I'm not going out. On the positive, my hair does not get oily and it leaves it feeling light and airy. As long as I don't look in the mirror too often, it's fine. =)

I have naturally curly/fine hair and I love this mousse. I comb my hair after getting out of the shower, then run a quarter sized glob of mousse through my hair, comb it again, and then let it air dry. It makes my curls soft and non-frizzy. They are awesome! I do admit, sometimes I accidentally put too much in and then it WILL make your hair crunchy. Just use in moderation! I think people complaining of a crunch just use too much product in their hair. I have bought this for a few years now and it never disappoints.

This product is really...lame? When i use it it..somewhat gives me definition, my hair got frizzy and it was crunchy. Definitely will not repurchase. Total waste of a product.

I used this when I had a perm and it was great for holding the curl. It was better than the other mousses I tried. The next day I would reactive with Tressemme curl reactivator. I would repurchase this if I ever got a perm again.

I tried curling my hair with this mousse on, and I'm not sure if it's because this mousse doesn't hold very well or the heat on my curler wasn't high enough, I ended up with wavy hair and by the end of the day it was already gone. It smells pleasant (or at least I think so) and I'll probably use it once in a while to make my straight hair wavy. It says it gives shine, but I didn't see much difference between my regular hair and my hair w/ mousse on, so it doesn't give a radiant shine or anything like that.

I haven't tried many mousses but I like this one. My hair is wavy but really lacks definition, and this helps a lot. My hair has to be really wet when I scrunch it otherwise it gets a little frizzy (but never to the point where it bothered me). I use a diffuser to dry my hair when I use this. Oh and the smell is great!

I love to experiment with mousse. This one held good no matter if i use a little it is SO crunchy! My HG Mousse is Biolage Foam Styler. It is a great medium hold for me.

I'm on my second bottle of this mousse. I bought my first bottle 2 years ago when I had my first perm and didn't end up finishing the bottle. I straightened my hair shortly afterwards becuase I couldn't figure out how to style my curly hair and have it turn out the way I wanted it to. After 2 years, I permed my hair again and started to use this mousse. It was great, I could finally get the curls that I was looking for. The mousse had a pleasant scent and made my curls more defined. My hair didn't feel stiff or look frizzy at the end of the day. I only got soft curls, which is what I always wanted. However, I must note that this product does lose some of the curl during the day. Usually my hair looks more curly in the morning (I usually style my hair around 7 am) by about 2 pm, my hair is in soft slightly loose curls. At night, around 7 or 8 pm, my hair is in loose curls.

Meh. It's decent I guess, gave my waves/curls some definition but I got the frizzies at the end of the day anyways AND it was somewhat crunchy. It's a blah product....thankfully I've found better stuff that makes my curls look A-MAZING.

This is the best mousse I have found!! Leaves my curls looking good, soft and smells really nice. I have noticed it works better if I am using a good conditioner. My hair is frizzy but not very thick, so I always start with a small amount of mousse and add more if needed.
Have tried other products but this one beats them all!

This is definitely a curl defining (creating for me) HG!!!

I could not recommend this more. You HAVE to try this. Even if you end up not liking it, you won't be wasting much money.

First of all, I have practically stick straight hair that I get so tired of. I've always wanted curls! This is the best curl creating product out of many that I have tried: Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl Boosting Mousse, got2be kinky, Fekkai Wave Creating Spray, JF Brilliant Brunette Starlit Waves, and more.

First of all, to get curls/waves, I put this into my 95% dried hair and then put my hair into two buns for 1/2 an hour to an hour. When I take the buns out I have GORGEOUS, LUSCIOUS curly waves that are full of shine, definition, and silkiness.

This makes your hair INCREDIBLY soft and I do mean INCREDIBLY.

Even when I'm not styling for curls, I put this into my hair for the softness.

Please try this. You may end up falling in love, just like me.

I can't even comment on this stuff...it's just so...average! Yeah, I guess it's OKAY as a curl definer, but my hair still frizzes up by the end of the day. It was only 2 bucks, so I can't really complain I wasted my money. Still though, I buy products expecting them to WORK. This just doesn't cut it.

Mmm, the scent is wonderful:D The reason why I didn't buy it was because I thought it was going to be a product that would end up in my shelf collecting dust.
My hair is a thick wavy mess. This product left it nice & soft-ish with a great smell. What I like to do is wash my hair, put this on, & then I put my hair up in four small buns. Later on that day I have gorgeous waves.

I have fine/medium textured curly hair that's 3a/3b on naturallycurly.com .


This product worked really well for me, I use it afterwards my application of Durahold. When my hair is slightly damp, almost dry with the crunchy gel I scrunch this mousse in and it gives me that extra boost! It wouldn't work well by itself.

I have long, medium-textured, naturally curly hair.
I use the whole Pantene curls line.
I have non-crunchy curls when I use this--just don't apply a bunch at once. It is much better to use a little bit, and then add more if needed. I prefer the mousse because gel can weigh down my hair.

Tried this based on the reviews here. I have dry, curly hair. It works well in the winter time when there is no humidity but in the summer it does not hold up so well. My curls fall flat after a few hours. If you apply too much then you have to scrunch it quite a bit so you don't get the CRUNCHY look which I can NOT stand!

Love this :-) I dampen my hair every morning and use this to define the curls, which it does; the effect lasts all day! The scent is beautiful and the price is unbeatable. I'll definitely re-purchase. Edit: Re-purchased, as I said I would, and the scent has changed! It's not the sweet, fruity scent this product previously had, and I don't really like it...1 point off. Still worked for my hair.

Well, I didn't like this one. It really did nothing to add curl to my hair and I found it to be really sticky. Also, you have to be careful not to use too much or your hair will get crispy. I really like some of Pantene's other product's, however I am considering not using them anymore because I just found out they test on animals. :(
