I really like this gloss & I dont usually wear gloss I am def a lipstick girl, but its great easy packaging, non sticky & I love the taste & smell..I must have gotten a good batch because its NOT SOAPY at all...It tastes like yummy Rootbeer, which was different & a nice surprise! Wonderful example of how a great beauty product can be made cheap enough to be sold for a DOLLAR! It honestly makes me mad when I see Stila charge around 20 BUCKS for the same thing!

I bought this gloss on clearance at Target, and for the dirt-cheap price I paid ($0.70!), it was well worth it. It's shiny and goes on very smoothly--definitely NOT sticky, as I was afraid it may be. The color is a pale golden-brown, and it's pretty and subtle. I like it layered over a pinky-nude lipstick. It smells like root beer too, which I love! This was my first purchase of an E.L.F. lip product, and I was pleasantly surprised.

I already wrote a review for all of the glosses on the appropriate page (gave 'em a 4 out of 5), but I figured I'd review this color separately.
This color is great for the winter holidays! It's a beautiful touch on top of any lipstick, and looks wonderful on bare lips as well. I don't like it on my bare lips, since I don't feel it doesn't any favors for my cool toned pale skin, but on top of red lipstick it looks amazing! Personally, I probably wouldn't sport this shade any other time of the year.

For such a small price, I expected this l/g to be super transparent, which it is. It makes a shimmery top coat, which is nice. Or would be nice, if the l/g didn't smell like something really tropical that my dentist used to numb gums with. It is really off-putting and makes me less tempted to wear it. Especially since I found a Milani gloss in Buzzworthy that delivers a better, bronzey color and smells like marshmellows. I also don't particularly like the brush tip applicator, either. But, for this price, if you're curious, its worth a try. But if you are sensitive to smells (which I am usually NOT), think twice.

Great color, good consistency, awesome price.

Super cheap!! I really like this color, it adds a beautiful shimmer when layered over a nude lippie...I will definitely be purchasing again.

I got the same kit at Target, what a deal. It comes with Fairy and Candlelight too. This is sparkling golden bronze.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Sensitive, Medium, Cool Hair: Brown, Wavy, Coarse Eyes: Brown
I love this product, I bought a 3 piece kit Target (the nude ones) for only $3!!! I wish I had known about them a while back since I've spent a lot of money trying to find the perfect-wet look finishing lipgloss. I get what others say about the smell/taste in it, it really does smell very sweet like a shortbread candle...but that doesn't bother me since I am not sensitive to sweet fragances. And the price, OMG this is my HG lipgloss 4ever.
UPDATE 12/09: I hate the sweet smell of these lipglosses and I am not even sensitive to any kind of smells. Although the quality is great, I will have to remove one lippie and I am not sure I will repurchase.

This is my favorite color, I think it has more color than the other hypershines. It is still sheer but adds a very pretty tint to the lips. I love it!
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Brown
Nice brownish color. Has gold specs in it. Very sheer with a pretty finish. Really more bronze than honey though.

I RIS this item as an extra brand new..I swatched it on the top of my hand and tried it..I absolutely hate the taste!! gross!! it tastes like a cheap candle wax.. ick ! but the shine was good only if the flavor wasnt there!..:[

i love it!

This is my favorite ELF product! I have bought it more than once (rare for me!). It is great over lip color or wear alone. this color would compliment most complexions and the shine/glitter look is subtle enough for everyday use.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Medium Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
This is a very beautiful, shimmery, neutral gloss. I love how there are tiny sparkles in it and how the color looks on my lips. This gloss does have a sweet smell and taste, but it is not terrible at all. The texture of the gloss is so smooth and the color so easy to wear (alone or on top of another lip colour) that I'd get another tube of this as soon as I run out.

This is a GREAT color. I used it to death and bought another one because I feel naked without this thing in my makeup bag at all times.
Goes on smoothly, not sticky, no bad taste, easy to use. I could go on forever. This is probably my favorite lip gloss I own.

Contrary to some PP's opinions I actually don't mind the flavor of this one, it's that pen dispenser...not my fave. However the shade is a nice, shimmery dark nude. I really like it. Very natural, not much staying power but for a dollar how can I complain? Will repurchase!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
Love the colour of this, adds a hint of gold with small amount of multi-coloured micro glitter (you can see the different colours, the glitter itself isn't that obvious). It lasts a while for me, is a little sticky, which i like.
As for the scent, i think it's like fake bubblegum scent and i really dont mind it to be honest.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
The color is fine, but the taste is beyond horrible. Please don't even try it. I think other reviewers have commented on other colors being better, but this color's taste will make you want to wipe your lips off your own face. Yuck!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair Hair: Other Eyes: Brown
Texture-wise this is similar to many more expensive click-pen brush glosses. The brush might not be too nice when you freshly open it and might require a trim. The gloss isn't too sticky, but enough for staying power. Honey is a light caramel with gold micro glitter. The only downside to this is the scent, while liking everything else about Honeyt.. it has a really strong complicated scent and taste of artificial fruit, soap, odd fragrance. It even tastes slightly soapy. I prefer the minty glosses from ELF and their other click pen gloss Moisture Care.
It's worth a go for the try but it's not too great especially if you're sensitive to scents and don't want to taste soap...It's nothing like Cotton Candy like ELF states.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Normal, Olive, Warm Hair: Brown Eyes: Black
I agree with the other reviewer, sticky and with a soapy taste, but the color is nice...a shimmery golden caramel, not a lot of pigmentation. The Glossy gloss by E.L.F. is awesome, but O don't care for this one, plus I had to trim the brush a little so it would go on better. Won't repurchase, but not a terrible product.
