I need a lighter conditioner because most are way too heavy for my abundant, but fine hair. But this just wasn't quite enough (although not as drying as many conditioners out there). It made my hair soft and definitely did not feel coating, but it also seemed to make my hair a little dark (I'm blondish with highlights). I'm also, not a scent person - I prefer everything fragrance free, but there was something about this slightly floral scent, I found very inviting. Even though it's very runny, I used very little and it was enough - using more, didn't make it more moisturizing. I also am allergic to this - there are ingredients that trigger eczema on my hands (which I knew - but I had to try it anyway).

How can anyone not love this smell?
This is the best smelling conditioner I've ever had.

The product is very light and it works for me as I have straight normal hair. The only trouble is the product is immediately absorbed by the hair, it seems to vanish, because it's so light.

But the results are wonderful, the hair is detangled but doesn't feel greasy or heavy.
Does this product still exist with another name?

I agree completely with impishnature, although this says "lite", I still expected to at least help detangle my hair. I also really dislike the scent of this. It smells to much like fake perfume for me.

Well I'm among some other reviewers here- I LOVE THIS CONDITIONER! This is just perfect for someone like me. I have normal, unprocessed, healthy hair but a very oily scalp and thus only need a light conditioner on my ends to help with combing and styling. Just a small amount of this stuff leaves my hair perfectly detangled, silky and easy to style with absolutely no buildup, even with continuous use. True to its name this stuff is very light feeling, but trust me it actually works! :)
I'm kind of indifferent about the smell, some days I find it's a fruity scent, other days it's more of a floral to me, but I really don't care. At around nine dollars Canadian a bottle the price is right too. I adore this and will buy it as long as Joico keeps making it.

NOTE-This is NOT for people with thick, coarse, or damaged hair. It probably wouldn't work all that well for people with very curly hair or hair that's been chemically processed either. This product is best for fine/normal straight haired people with little to no hair damage. Lite will do absolutely nothing for coarser haired folks. But if you have fine to normal, virgin hair, there's a good chance you'll love it! :)

The fragrance of this isn’t great but it’s bearable. This conditioner looks and feels light as the name suggests. However, it is effective at leaving hair tangle-free and soft and smooth without weighing it down or making it oily. This isn’t heavy-duty so if you really need moisture or your hair is damaged this may not be the right product for you, but for those with healthy hair who want an everyday conditioner this is very good.

I love this conditioner, and have done for many years. For reference, I have naturally straight, thick hair, which I don't colour. It is, as the name suggests, a light conditoner, with a pleasant fragrance which reminds me of pears. It works instantly, so you don't have to wait for it to "work", and delivers smooth, shiny, sleek, weightless locks. Rinses clean, so no buildup. I guess if you colour or bleach your hair, or use other chemicals or heat tools, this might not be heavy enough, but for straight, untreated hair, it's great.

I use this with the joico kerapro shampoo and even though i have dry hair it really makes it soft and shine without weighing it down LOVE IT!!

I don't use conditioner that often, but when I do, I usually use this. I bought one of those one litre bottles and it's lasting me forever, which may or may not be a good thing. Anyhow, it's a nice light conditioner, as you can probably tell by its name. I recommend it for people how don't need a heavy conditioner.

This product would probably work really well for someone with very fine, healthy hair that doesn't need a ton of moisture. IMO though it didn't work well at all. It made my fine, color-treated, damaged hair very tangly and not soft or manageable at all. Yuck. Will not repurchase again.

I like this conditioner when I want more volume in my style. If I use a rich conditioner every day my hair gets flat. I color my hair and I like to alternate this with thicker, heavy duty conditioners. I like the light scent too.

Not worth it...my hair doesn't feel conditioned, in fact, it feels dry and it's very hard to comb out. Avoid, unless you have short to medium virgin (non-colored) hair that needs only the lightest of light conditioners. Yeah, I realize it says "Lite" in the name of the product, but this may have well just been water to my hair--that's how "lite" it was.

Didnt work well on my dry hair. Smells good and did ok detangling but just not enough for me.
