I've been using this self tanner for years. Gradually build it up to color you like. If u put too much on just wash it off. Shows up instantly. Doesn't stain clothes Great on face chest and legs!!

I found my holy grail. I have tried at least 300 sunless tanners in my lifetime....sprays, gels, lotions, towels, gradual tanners, etc. This is it. I'm never buying another sunless tanner again. I am PALE, DRY and Irish. I have never found anything that looked 100% real on me. This stuff goes on dark, a gorgeous tropical brown. It washes off the next day to reveal a light brown. I apply 2 more days in a row and I look like I came back from the Islands and it's totally real looking. It smells like vanilla. The only cons about this stuff is it goes everywhere when you spray it...your floor, shower curtain, sink, toilet, curtains, etc. I line my bathroom floor up with old towels, open the window and turn on the exhaust fan to receive minimal damage. lol. The stuff dries quick. It NEVER EVER dries streaky. Even if it looks streaky it adjusts itself somehow. You can rub it in real quickly and lightly with gloves or not. Doesnt matter. It will all come out even. I promise.
If you have dry skin like me (alligator in winter) I would advise you slather yourself with coco butter in between tanning. It dries you out b/c its aerosol. This stuff is $20 a bottle at Sally's and worth every penny. I'd still buy it if they doubled the price!

LOVE this stuff! Exfoliating is the key to any self tanner. I keep Lysol wipes on hand for the bathroom floor and toilet and sink since a mist does land on things around you. NO ORANGE at ALL! Love this stuff.
I use this everyday for the first few days and than use the body drench lotion/ spray tan every other day, alternating until I exfoliate.
One last thing....MAKE SURE this bottle stays in a cool place at all times. My first bottle was left in a hot place for a few hours and when I used it...it exploded all over my bathroom...lol.
The $20 price tag is a little much, but so worth it. You can find it cheaper on the internet but I would be worried about getting a bottle that had gotten warm...this was mentioned in several reviews on Amazon. So, for now I will keep getting it from Sally's.

I bought this from Sally Beauty in Canada for 27.99 which is a little spendy.. higher than drug store but less than St. Tropez so I was okay with it. I love the aerosol can design. Easy to apply on back and other hard to reach places. Also very, very dark tinted so it's easy to see where you've put it and where there's too much product in one spot. It also smells sweet like vanilla, not like traditional sunless tan or the overpowering perfume smell they mix in there to try and mask the sunless smell. It was pleasant to put on and the sweet smell lingered for quite a while.
I have a base tan from beds so I wasn't too worried about streaking or anything but I did a very half-assed job and barely applied any. I just did a quick mist on my face, blended it into my neck with hands and repeated for the rest of my body. I felt like I barely used any product and didn't expect much for results but wow, count me impressed! I went to bed with a nice tint from the colour of the product and woke up with a fabulous dark and even tan! I haven't showered but I've been warm throughout the day and that sickly sunless tan smell isn't coming off me! Yay! I got legit spray tan a couple weeks ago and stunk from it for a couple days even after a shower.
I'm super impressed with the application and results from this product so I'll definitely be repurchasing and don't mind the price in the least!

I have naturaly very pale skin and when i used this the color guide made me look sun burnt. I went to a football game after applying and everyone told me I looked like I had a sunburn. After the color guide wears off though it has a great color!

I hate to ruin the great reviews of this product, but it just didn't work for me. My skin is very pale and I've been forced to apply sunless tanning products since I can remember. I am not one of these people who look good when pale although I've tried to embrace the natural color of my skin in the past, but everyone would tell me that I look sick, tired, etc. Anyway, going back to the reviews of this tanning spray....I love how dark this applies and how it does not rub off on clothes. But I didn't like it because 1) it accentuated my acne scars 2) color was weird 3) a few of my friends told me it actually made me look older.
Yes, I exfoliated before and applied a moisturizer, but this spray just didn't work for my skin. Maybe it's meant for people with medium skin shade?? I am pissed for spending so much money on this spray.

I bought this intending to use it only for my face and neck. I prefer aerosols for my face because my skin texture makes it really difficult to make a lotion tanning product work for me. I really like this one. I do my face every night before bed and wake up with a rich, golden tan in the morning. It smells divine, like marshmallows or chocolate. However, it only really works on my face, neck and chest. Every time I've tried it on the rest of my body, it either gives too little color, or way too much to the point where it looks red from the color guide. It's also really good for your hands and feet.

Best sunless tanner on the market hands down. I am so pale I am invisible. My friends constantly comment on how sickly pale I am. I also refuse to go in the sun. Used this all last summer. Changed my life. Wore clothes I would previously never wear b/c I was too pale. Everyone said how great it looked. I've tried at least 75+ sunless tanners. This is the best on the market. A little pricey, but the results make it worth every penny. Smells divine. Even use it on my face, but it does make my face look a bit shiny. Nothing a little powder can't fix. LOVE LOVE LOVE this. HG for sure!

I am in love with this product. I am fair with freckles and was about to give up the fight to self-tan--the smell, the mess, the orange blotchy results. I noticed these great reviews and bought 3 cans from Amazon.
This product applies easily, smells okay, dries very quickly and looks very natural. There is no sticky feeling.
I exfoliate thoroughly ( yes it makes a huge difference), shave and then apply a thick lotion to feet / nails prior to application. My husband then sprays the product on me outside. I use vinyl ( not latex) gloves and lightly rub the product in to distribute it evenly.
I can dress in 5 minutes max without worry.
My husband ( also fair skin) has started using the product and has seen great results.

This is a great product. I wish it made me darker though. I use it if I need a quick dose of color. The color is natural and the airbrush spray works great never streaks. The smell is ok wish it wasn't as strong but at least it's coconut and not DHA! I also wish it was cheaper, even with my Sally's card it's still like 15 or 16 bucks and you don't get that many applications..wah. I do find myself coming back to this old stand by after I stray to other self tanners that don't work as well.

The best product ever. Coming from someone who knows. This makes St. Tropez look like junk. I have Lindsay Lohan skin and this makes me look like Jennifer Lopez.

You can get 3 cans for $30 on amazon, for those of you complaining about the price. :o)

This is hands down, THE best self-tanner I have ever used. It looks bronzey on my skin (I have yellow undertones) and not orange at all. It is so natural looking and not streaky at all. Someone from work referred to me as looking like a "bronze goddess"...lol It sprays on evenly and smells like something sweet...vanilla/chocolate/caramel-like. If too much product does happen to come out in one area, I just rub it in quickly. You need to wash your hands immediately after getting it on your palms, but it comes right off. Some of it did get on my bathrobe, but it washed completely out. It dries very quickly also. Some overspray got on my bathroom floor, but it wiped right up. My local Sally Beauty Supply store carries it, but only one bottle at a time so it can be hard to find. It is $18.99 plus tax, but when I compare the cost to other ones I have used and wasted my money on, it is definitely worth the extra few dollars I spent on it. I will repurchase this again and again, as I have found my HG self-tanner.
EDIT: I have to say that even though this is the best self tanner I've ever used, it makes an awful mess when you use it consistently. It gets EVERYWHERE! I had to stop using it for this reason :(

OMGGG i lovee loveeeeeee this self tanning spray! The scent is not tooooo over powering. It almost smells like a chocolate candy bar. & the color is gorgeoussssss! Not orangy at all! Just a deep chocolate brown color. I use this during the day, or going out at night. It does NOT rub off on clothes at all! I was wearing a white shirt at night in the summertime & came home & there was nothing on my shirt! I also like the color guide so you can see where you are spraying the product. It does dry quickly as well and absorbs very good onto your skin!

Everytime i wear this, i always have people asking me if i went on vacation. I'll use this w/ a mixture of my St. Tropez and i love it!! Its very cheap too! I don't like this on my face just because it seems like it sinks into my pores on my face...but every where else i love wearing this. When showering, a little bit of the products washes off...but you can still tell that the product is still on your body.... which i loveeeee because i hate wearing self tanners that go bye bye down the drain when you shower. ((COUGH COUGH st. tropez!))

Overall amazing self tanner!!!!!

This is an instant tan. Use this for going out. It doesn't rub off. Spray it over a lotion, it does dry out your skin. Use an oil free lotion. This will prevent from giving a barrier between your skin and the tanner that oil will do.

Use a different tanner for daily use, as this is costly and does dry out your skin. It is the best instant tan. Although a lot of the color will come off in the shower. A lot stays on as well. It is just disappointing that about half will come off.

If you really love this product. I buy mine in quantity from amazon. That's the cheapest way to get it.

Do not try to rub in with your hands. If at all possible don't rub it in at all! Spray it on your skin and use your hair drier on cool to help it dry quicker. This will stain your hands. And it is very dark!

Also it gets on the floor. I put down a towel or do it in the shower. Immediately after tanning I just turn on the shower for about 5 minutes and let the water wash away the tanner that has landed on the floor.

I had high hopes for this and thought it just might be my HG self tanner. Getting close, though.

I LOVE that this produces a very realistic, believable non-orange color. Probably the most non-orange self tanner I've tried. (I've tried a TON, and on my normally glow in the dark white skin, I'd resigned myself to the fact that all ST's make you orange.) This looked very real.

It goes on pretty easily. I can never just spray the product and leave it. Somehow I never get that right, so I spray my body in small sections like grafitti and rub in quickly. (And yes, rub it in very quickly because it dries FAST.) I've found doing it this way also avoids a huge mess in your bathroom or on your floor.

I love that this spray has a color guide. Most don't, and usually you're left guessing if it's going to come out even or not. The color guide color is a very nice rosy-brown (not poo-brown, green-brown, or orange like some) and you can apply and actually go out in public. It also absorbs right into your skin, rather than sitting on top of your skin looking like dirt or makeup.

**Word of warning: Wash your hands thoroughly between body parts, or better yet, use gloves. Your hands will thank you. With the color guide, this turns your palms dark brown pretty fast. Comes off easily enough, though.

In spite of the color-guide, it does not easily rub off on clothes. Great news if you're wearing white. Also, I think it's less likely to rub off because it absorbs into your skin and dries fast.

That means it doesn't leave you sticky, creamy, or gooey either. Comfortable and dry, without drying out your skin.

It smells the best of all the self-tanners I've tried. Smells like baking chocolate chip cookies. As the tan develops, you don't get that nasty self tanner smell like you do with most brands, which is very nice.

The color doesn't come out very dark. (That's probably why it doesn't look orange.) You need a few applications of this for a really nice tan.

I did find that this does wash off too easily, and when you shower the day after an application, not much color is left behind. You do have to keep re-applying.

I would still buy this again. Great if you have a special occasion like a wedding that you want to be nice and tan for (and not Oompa-Loompa). Also great if you want a light, natural color.

Love the "Quick Tan" by Body Drench. I like to spray it on before I go out. It dries rather quickly without leaving a sticky residue or offensive smell. It goes on rather evenly too. I've tried the spray tans from many of the other top companies and this one is by far my favorite!

I LOVE this product! I am thrilled that I have finally found a self tanner that works for me! The colour guide is a beautiful rosy brown colour that even looks great over my PPP skin, and it smells great too - like vanilla. After one application my skin is a very very light brown, not tan but a great improvement over my normal paper white complexion. After two application it becomes deeper and richer, but still not dark. After three applications I am a good solid medium BROWN tan colour. After three consecutive applications (ex. first one monday night, second one tuesday night, third one wednesday night) I maintain and deepen my beautiful tan by applying a Gradual Tanner - I use Banana Boat Everyday Glow, and apply it nightly.

Ok-WOW definately agree with the last reviewer, this stuff will get you insanely dark rosy brown with like two coats! i am paper white and this made look brazilian-also unlike my favorite --savage bronze, it didn't look at all like it was sitting on top of my skin-it blended flawless and dried instantly with almost no blending. i have never got this color in my life! unfortunetly i will never buy this again-it was 20 dollars for one can-which gave me only three whole body applications-even than for this amazing color and application i still would have bought it-EXCEPT...it washes off completely in water-not sorta but completely! too good to be true i guess-the only way i would ever recomend is if you had a big event like a wedding and wanna look good one night-other than that save your money.

I actually purchased Skin Drench from Sallys but it is made by the same people who make QuickTan (Bodydrench). This sprays on a light tan mist that develops darker later on. I was barefoot when spraying this stuff and it got on the bathroom floor. I unknowingly walked around all over it and got the worst case of grocery store feet ever!! The bottom of my feet were brown. Luckily I removed most of it with astringent and mopped the floor. This will get you insanely dark but after you shower, not much to write home about. It says on the bottle to use it every other day, and I was under the impression it would last for 5/6 days. This is fool-proof when you rub it in with vinyl gloves but I may not repurchase b/c it smells on the day you will be the darkest from it. On a positive note, it fades very naturally.
