I will be celebrating the 25th anniversay of my 25th birthday in October. Having not seen a full head of my natural color hair since I was, hmm, 14? (do the math), I decided that I have earned all those little tiny wisps of gray in the outgrowth margin since my last highlight. I have been professionally highlighting the crown potion of my head for ages but with a recent cut in pay due to the economy, I don't have near the kind of money I have spent on haircoloring that I once did.
I bought this kit at Big Lots for $4. It was very easy to use and there was no mess to contend with after. I followed the technique in the directions for shadowing and easily applied the product using the tool and gloved fingers. Since only the top portion of my hair was over highlighted, I applied it from the outgrowth to the end of the strand. I didn't use any product near my roots so the grow out will be natural. After waiting 25 minutes, I rinsed, shampooed and applied some of the toner that is included. I am excited because I have alot of the toner left to use down the road should my hair turn brassy. The end result is amazing! I have my natural hair color again and I saved a ton of money too!

Saved my hair twice from the dreaded "blondarexia". Whenever I get too lightlight happy, blonde just washes me out. This is a great product for tonight down and easing back into my natural medium brown color. The applicator is easy to use and apply, and I like the fact this comes with a toner.

I have dark blonde hair that has highlights and lowlights and I wanted to add a little more dimension. I thought the Toffee seemed a little too close to my natural colour, so I chose the next shade which was Cinnamon. I probably should have used the Toffee, as it was a little too dark and a little too reddish, however the product is very easy to use, it has a terrific brush and a toner and a conditioner. I only did a very few strands as it was my first time doing my own lowlights. The only problem with this was of my own making..chose the wrong shade, other than that it's a big thumbs up.
