I've been using it since 3 to 4 years.In the beginning it was ok,the smell also seemed nice.I also felt squeaky clean after shampooing but now i feel that my hair has become dry and frizzy.Now the smell also offends me and I am facing the problem of hair loss.

This used to be a miracle worker for me (I used it for at least 4 years!), but in the past year it's been awful. All of a sudden, my hair is weighed down and greasy-looking after only a single use. It looks like I put conditioner on my roots. But, believe me, I know better. And I also know better than to buy this garbage ever again.

My hair: thin, oily, no dandruff, no damage, not color treated

I read on a few sites that Zinc can really clear up your skin. I had a few hairline issues from my previous shampoo clogging my pores (ugh, hydrogenated coconut oil). I gave this a shot for about a week. My thin hair was SO weighed down & almost greasy. I was shocked that this was too heavy for my hair but gave it another chance before chunking it. It gave me a few flakes (isn't that the opposite of what an anti dandruff shampoo should do?) which shocked me. Overall, this shampoo was a disappointment. It sucks cause I really thought this would be a great product

This does what it says it would do, help decrease dandruff. I used to have bad dandruff, and whenever I use a shampoo, afterwards, it would be oily and dandruffy. So, I bought this, and my dandruff went away! It comes in a huge bottle, so it will take you a while to finish, which is good. It smells ok, nothing fruity or dove soap like, but it;s pretty good. I recommend this to anyone who has dandruff. This is the best shampoo for that, and you will never go back!

My boyfriend uses this shampoo and for him, it's very good. No more flakes.
I only use it when my hair is really dirty (like the day after using dry shampoo) because it cleans very well.
I have a sensitive scalp and it tends to give me eczema and dry ends.
plus: fresh smell and good price
negative: too aggressive for sensitive scalps

This is my Shampoo for 4 years now.. I sometimes switch to the pink one if I don't find this one.. but they both get the same rating from me: AMAZING..

Growing up as a teenager I had a very big problem with dandruff! Gone with this shampoo.. One time I heard that we have to change the shampoo every 6 month.. So I tried, I think, Dove, OMG the disaster! my dandruff nightmare came back! So I switched back to this one and everything came back to normal.

Wouldn't change this Shampoo for anything else!

My advice: if your hair problem is dandruff, this is the product for you!

My HG shampoo!! I love the thick, creamy texture; it is not runny like many shampoos. My hair is very thick and gets oily fast -- Head and Shoulders always does the trick. I originally bought H&S for my dandruff, but it has subsided and now I use it because I like the clean smell and viscosity. The packing could be more appealing (and easier), but it doesn't bother me. There is no form and not much function in the design. I only wish it had a built-in pump!!!

I never would have ever thought about using head and shoulders when i was younger but about 10 months ago i noticed in the mirror that no matter how many times i washed my hair/changed my shampoo i always had dandruff. Head and shoulders saved me from this! it actually work, im so amazed. Im already on my second bottle!

I love this stuff. It has such a nice, 'clean' smell, and it's so basic. I love basic drugstore stuff with no pretensions. This fits the bill.

Cheap and effective. Throughly cleans my hair., but I do follow up with a conditioner to combat any possible drying effects of the shampoo.

I don't have dandruff, but my scalp itches and Head & Shoulders Classic Clean Shampoo does relieve the itching.

However, the cleansers in Classic Clean are too strong for my dry and sensitive scalp.

I dislike the packaging. I think a tube would be easier to use.

This ironically adds to my dandruff problem. Probably not the products fault because I live in SoCal--home to the nation's WORST water quality and thus breaks me out/gives me dandruff. (Hard water + zinc = no thank you) I won't be repurchasing.

There are millions of brands of shampoos out there. Some are cheap,some expensive, some smell delicious and fruity, but I keep coming back to Head & Shoulders. It does what is supposed to do, keep hair clean and flake free. I've been using it for many years and will continue to do so.

they had recently change to a new formula and it give mi more dandruff instead. i prefer the old formula..i will not repurchase again..

Ugh, not a huge fan, but I don't have a ton of reasons to really hate it. The pros are that it's cheap, doesn't strip my hair and that it smells nice and neutral. The bottle is super annoying and wayyy too much floods out when I pour. It cleans my hair, but it doesn't make my scalp feel as fresh as other shampoos. I might repurchase this if I can't find anything better, but I don't love it.

*ETA* After awhile, this did nothing for me. It made my scalp itchy and my hair all matted and gross, no matter how many times I washed.

I've tried SO many shampoos and H&S works the best. I've only been using it for two days and my hair is so soft and manageable. I started using my bf's H&S shampoo because I ran out of mine and didn't have money to buy any, but now that I got paid I actually didn't even buy my own shampoo because this one works just fine!

I don't have dandruff but this is a top favorite shampoo along with suave daily clarifying! And I have tried many shampoos from salon brands to ds.

I got a jumbo bottle from big lots for $6.50 and that size normally sells for over $10 st other stores. I would prefer it to have a pump.

This shampoo just leaves my hair feeling really good, not dried out, not heavy. I have undamaged thin straight long hair.

CONS: there are none!
COMMENTS: this shampoo is fantabulous and I use it every time I wash my hair, I buy a new bottle every month and I just love this stuff! It really works, and one awful winter my skin was getting really dry and I got a tiny bit on dandruff (I know, ew, right?) but this completely got rid of it and prevented it so I never got a dry scalp again. Love this stuff! <3

I've used this shampoo my whole life. Every once in a while I switch to a differnt shampoo but I always end up coming back to this one! I've never had dandruff which this shampoo is mostly made for, so it prevents me from getting it. It completely gets rid of dryness in my scalp and I love it! It smells pretty good and I have the Head and Shoulders Classic Clean Conditioner too. :)
