A gentle gardenia musk. Very pretty, but plain and doesn't morph much. At this price point, I think it's too plain.

If you take Monyette Paris and mix it with Kai, voila! you have Moonstone. It starts off smelling fresh like Kai and then begins to develop into a warm, less creamy and sweet Monyette Paris, but nontheless it's beautiful!
I am still loyal to my Monyette, but I do love this and if you love Monyette, please purchase this perfume, you will not be sorry.

I'm not a fragrance devotee despite my love for perfume, its' just one of those things that I put on when I want to feel good. MU is my thing so you'll have to forgive the ignorant review.
I bought this for several reasons
1. Because it looked convenient and was meant to be longer lasting
2. The packaging won me over totally and so did the description
3. Because it's my birth stone.
4. Because the reviews were good!
When I received this fragrance I was so eager to see what it smelled like, I love Vanilla and I love flowers. The packaging is gorgeous and even after keeping it in my handbag it hasn't messed it up or scratched it, I love the little bottle and the fact it looks so decadent as well, i was suprised by how little you get for your £23.
When I tried this on I was initially disappointed, it just didn't smell that good to me, however after wearing it whenever I've felt like a little scent I have realised that actually I really do like this fragrance, I can't really describe the smell to be honest, I don't know what it smells like but it's creamy and floral all at the same time and smells like summer. I'ts not for everyone because it's very sweet but things like that have always appealed to me!
I would love to try more of these perfumes but I have plenty to keep me going for now. I will probably not ever bother buying another crappy bottle of EDT after this because this stuff lasts and lasts - the staying power make it worth every penny and the fact the fragrance is strong and not cloying also make it worth it imho.
Despite not getting much product you hardly need any, a mere dab on the pulse points will get you smelling nice. It's also a space saver not having bottles clattering about all over the place. I totally resent paying £34 for weak perfume, if i want to wear it then I want it to last, otherwise i'll wear a fragrant body spray.
I am a total convert to oils now I think and these are beautiful, I would recommend trying them first before you purchase but I think every girl should own one.

Testing this on my wrist right now...it's very strong! I applied less than a drop, maybe just a smear, and the scent is so strong, which is not necessarily a bad thing. At first, it smelled really creamy and made me think of coconut. It has now turned into a divine Gardenia scent. Still so unbelievably creamy. EDIT: Why oh why? The creaminess is gone. Same problem that I had with Songes. GAHH!!

Moonstone DOES smell a lot like Monyette Paris, one of my favourite fragrances. But it lacks the smokey coconut quality of Monyette. Moonstone is a more strong, heady gardenia, which is too rich for me.

I totally agree that Moonstone reminds one of Monyette Paris. However, Moonstone seems to be a slightly more floral version, the gardenia in it seems to be a tad more green and the overall fragrance isn’t as “suntan oil” or quite as rich/heavy smelling as Monyette is. Both are beautiful and remind me of hot summer days, tanned bodies laying in the sand and hanging out in the ocean-side shopping strips I remember from my early 20's. I think Monyette will stay my HG...on me, it’s a little stronger, lasts longer and is a little more exotic smelling. Not sure if I'd purchase Moonstone because of this, but for now, I'll say I will since I thoroughly enjoy it, highly recommended.

We have gardenia bushes in the front yard, and I've tried many gardenia scents, hoping to match their beauty - I finally found it. Absolutely stunning, definitely FBW. If you are a gardenia lover, and probably even if you aren't, you must try this!

Pretty gardenia scent, very similar to Monyette except that instead of nag champa, Moonstone has sweet vanilla and tobacco notes that become prominent with drydown. This is very summery and wears well on my skin without turning. A must try for gardenia lovers.

This replicates the scent that would happen if I mixed three parts of "Kai" with one part of "Monyette Paris". Crisp green gardenia floral on a bed of sweet vanillic incense. (I believe the exact basenotes in this are vanilla, oakmoss, amber & tobacco.) It's a smoky/sweet tropical fragrance that has good lasting power on my skin. I wish I had purchased this instead of the "Coral" which I didn't like at all.

Sage Moonstone is just the living end. I was intrigued by the notes and expected to really like it, but I didn't expect to be blown away by it. It's beautiful. An absolutely captivating, sublime, and possibly the most authentic gardenia scent I have ever found. I thought Monyette Paris was the most realistic gardenia, but Moonstone has knocked that down to second place. (And let me tell you, that's saying something.) I think even non-floral people might like this one, as its not a cloying, overpowering gardenia. I put it on, and every now and then, I catch a whiff of the most divine scent--like smelling real gardenias on a breeze through an open window. Heaven in a bottle!
