Love this! one of my favorite colors for spring and summer!. It is a gorgeous teal blue color with almost a silver sparkle/shine to it.
It goes on my nails really well, I usually apply 2-3 coats. It dries fast and stays on a fair amount of time before chipping.
Overall great nail polish!

One of the very first bottles in my collection, which is about to reach a hundred. I was going for a teal, since I was gaga over that color a while back. But when I got it, it was more of a metallic blue.... It wasn't that bad, the color was good enough.
The formula was a bit streaky and a little goopy, but that's understandable since it's been in my stash since last year or so. Nevertheless, this polish will always have a special place in my heart as the first few that started it all :)

Teal the cows come home is a gorgeous teal colour with a silver sheen to it... While the colour is to die for, it is not the easiest polish to work with... I found it rather difficult to apply as it was a bit streaky... It also didnt wear particularly well... Only a few days before it started to chip... I expect more from my opi polishes... The colour is absolutely amazing tho so if you can get past the application issues give it a go for sure :)

I bought this at Ulta for really cheap, and I really like it. I think its a very pretty color for spring. Its very consistent but with the perfect nail polish remover, it comes off easily. Its very easy to put in a suitcase and take on vacation. But like most nail polishes, it has that glass and it can break easily. And yes I love it and I would buy it again.

Love the color; it reminds me of mermaids and oceans. I am a sucker for anything in the realm of teal, aqua, or blues because I am obsessed with those colors. I love anything that reminds me of the colors you see when you look up from the bottom of the ocean or the pool and you see the different ripples of colors from the sunlight coming down through the water. The polish is a little thin and runny but to me that's not enough to stop me from wearing it. This is one of my favorite classic OPI colors of all time.

I own and have owned many opi lacquers and this one Is the hardest wearing!. I find 2 coats Is perfect coverage and the colour is a stunning turquoise my fave colour and a bit brighter than nicki minaj's fly which chips much quicker. I have worn teal the cows come home for 2 weeks now had to give it another coat and a top coat to cover nail base growth but it hadn't chipped one bit and I'm a mum of 2 so always busy with my hands!. This is a must have if you love your blue shades.

This is perfect blue for summer. I use this for foot nails tho.
I don't know how to explain, umm... this is beautiful, ocean blue, shimmery, with silver pearls. maybe with blue pearls too.
single coat can be ok.

I fell in love with the color, I found that I required a few coats to really get a awesome shade of color and full coverage. Plus the name is super duper cute which is always a plus!

I was completely on the fence with this one, I was like whaaa, vibrant teal? MUST HAVE!
Then I tried it, was really was like a holographic green with some blue undertones to it. Not was I wanted, but pretty...
Still on a search for a vibrant teal.

Like others said, the name is misleading. There's no teal at all, even though a lot of the stock photos make it look teal. It is a light, almost metallic neon blue.
Personally I love the color even though the name doesn't fit at all. It's a nice summer color and definitely brightens up my nail. The formula is pretty good, I applied two coats and it was nicely opaque and not streaky, which was good because I often have to do 3 coats of polish.
It took a bit longer than I expected to dry, even using the Drip Dry with it, and they got a little messed up because I touched stuff when my nails were still wet. But that's my own fault. I can wear this for several days with no chipping, which is nice.
Would definitely buy again if my bottle went missing or something, but I don't know if I'll ever actually finish it up.

Teal? Really? This polish is blue with almost zero green to speak of. Not that OPI's names are all that accurately descriptive...so I guess I'm splitting hairs here. Anyway, the polish is kinda sheer for its promised brightness, and takes about 3 coats to be opaque.
I like the color, but there are better blues out there (from OPI and others) that are worth my time and money. In some ways, Teal The Cows Come Home seems like a shimmery and sheerer version of Suzi Says Feng Shui, a dusty creme blue that's definitely a keeper.
Wouldn't buy again.

A little sheer (maybe 3 or 4 coats for full coverage). Lovely teal color though (and very cute name). Easily one of my favorite OPI blues. I love the shimmery finish. Overage, great color, despite sheerness.

This is a beautiful, bright turquoise nail polish that really complements my cool skin. I normally go for creams, but I just couldn't pass this one up! When I turn my hand over to look at my nails, the color looks almost metallic. I don't follow what's in season, so I would wear this year round! It'd be a nice pick-me-up in the dead of Winter.

This is a gorgeous teal blue nail color with a bit of shimmer. I thought I would absolutely hate it on me, but was persuaded by a friend to purchase this. I'm usually a girl that likes neutral/classic nail colors (reds, dark colors, neutrals, pinks), so this color was actually a fun change for me. It doesn't go on streaky, but it isn't super pigmented. It took me about 2-3 light coats to achieve a really even color. Other than that- I totally recommend getting this if you're like me, and wanna try a something new once in a while. :)

this is pretty :] but its not very pigmented. it took me 3 coats to get the color pay off, and it still looked a little too light.

I've only used this once and it's already my new favorite color for summer toes. It reminds me so much of the color of swimming pools from an airplane--a shimmery take on that bright turquoise/aqua blue. If I didn't work in a conservative place, it would be on my fingernails from time to time, also. It took three coats to reach the opacity I wanted, but that's not much of a bother for me. Love it!

This is easily my #1 pedi shade. It looks so nice on my toes and it's a really fun colour. A light, shimmery teal (I'm currently starting my second bottle and it seems lighter/bluer than my last - maybe as my last one got older, it got deeper?) that applies thinly so you need at least 2 coats - I always do 3 on my big toe.
I don't like wearing frosty or shimmery shades on my fingers so I haven't tried this as a mani yet but a girl who was about 10 was having this done on her fingers at the salon and it was striking, especially with the black and white design she was getting. I think this shade would look great on almost every skin tone though probably best on cool, highly recommend it!

Teal The Cows Come Home (cute name) is a very pretty blue/teal colour with a shimmery look to it. On my pale skin, the colour really pops and is perfect for those days I want to wear a bright blue. Staying power is great, I started to see little chips after a few days, but that it typical for me. I only needed to use 2 coats and I got perfect coverage. The best thing about this polish is it does NOT stain my nails! I would recommend this beautiful bright blue for summer. Also looks very pretty with "Absolutely Alice" on top.
