I got the oily/combination one and it didn't seem to help with the oiliness and it just added to it. Most embarrassing day was when I went to a festival with it and my friend noticed it run on my face with my makeup because it was hot and it wasn't fun :(. At least it was my best friend who told me. I never used it afterwards, it didn't help though I liked the smell.
Big downfall was that it wasn't cheap, nothing in Yves Rocher is cheap. I wasted my money.

Didn't work for my very oily skin. Had better luck with that lil green tube of vitamin A cream from Yves Rocher, which I think they've discontinued!

Well I tried it and didn't like ti for me. My friend on the other hand tried on her back, because she tends to get some random blemishes on it. She loved it for her back, it made it less oilier. So obviously for everyone it's different. She will be buying it again but not me.

I hated the smell fo this and I felt like it had no mattifying effect at all.
If u have oily skin like me try Marcelle Aquarelle for oily skin.

I bought this here in Paris during a 50% off promo and am very glad I did! It really does keep me "matte-r" all day without overdrying. The only thing I wish it had was some SPF!

I got this as a mail offer from Yves Rocher and I'm so glad I decided to try this moisturiser! Its really good for a t-zone like mine that tends to get oilier as the day goes on, its absorbs really well and feels light, the scent is pleasant.. just great!

Not convinced with this one.
The Matte finish barely lasts more than an hour.
Did not really help to eliminate those irregular breakouts, even when I was using it religiously.

Initially (two months) I loved this moisturiser. It stopped me getting shiny for most of the day. It also didn't break me out, which is very rare, as it doesn't contain many of the nasty things you find in other products. The texture is lovely and light and a little goes a long way, so the small pot lasts for ages. However, it's been a pretty cold summer in the UK, and in the dying days of August, it actually got quite warm - and the moisturiser suddenly seemed to be doing nothing to control the oil on my skin. I'm not sure if it's the warmer weather, or whether my skin has just got used to it, but I'm very disappointed in this. Maybe just keep it for wintertime.

I tried this about a year ago and have revisited it a couple times since because I really wanted it to work for me. It did mattify my shiny oil skin pretty well BUT it broke me out every time. I have since realized that I tend to break out with products containing Corn Starch, which this one has. My oily, acne prone sensitive skin is just too darn picky for me to use this. I do however quite like Yves Rocher (generally very inexpensive) and love their Derma Calm Day Cream which together with some other great products recommended on MUA has kept my skin completely clear and beautiful. See my notepad for my products regimen.

This product does zap out the oil in your face, which is great because I make excessive amounts of it in my T-zone area. The only draw back is that because it works so well, I can only apply this product to the oily parts of my face. Anywhere else dries it out. So being my T-zone and eye lids are oily and my cheeks and chin are very patchy and dry, I only apply it to the T-zone area. If I could change anything about this product it would be to put it in a pump or squeeze bottle instead of a glass jar. Some of Yves Rocher's skin care products come in cute but inconvient packaging. The method of application is very unhygenic to me. Fingers carry a lot of germs and I feel like overtime I am contaminating my jar.

I got this for my husband to use, because he has fairly oily skin, but with a few small dry areas (cheeks). It's a light, yogurt-textured cream with a slightly powdery feel to it. He's been using it twice daily for a couple of months, and his skin has been much less greasy at the end of the day. The other day, I thought he'd rushed to wash his face after arriving home from work, but actually it was just that his face was not oily at all! The dry areas have also disappeared, and it hasn't caused him any breakouts. This is excellent stuff for him, and it will be repurchased.
I left the packaging rating as a 3 because we own the glass jar version, but apparently Yves Rocher now has a (in our opinion) superior tube version, so that rating may get bumped up when we eventually try the tube.

I received samples of this and many other Yves Rocher products from a friend. I'm very impressed by this product. I've tried several mattifying lotions and potions over the years only to be disappointed because they either didn't work or they dried my skin out horribly. This one is different!
My skin is conbination - oily in some areas, dry in others. It always gets shiny looking/greasy feeling over the course of a day.
This gives me just the right amount of moisture and doesn't feel like a slimy mask on my face as most do. The mattifying effect is just perfect. After 8 - 10 hours of wearing it, still no shine at all! I wear this alone, I do not wear foundation, but I can imagine it would be good under one as well. I usually use a different product on my eyelids before applying eyeshadow, but I'm anxious to try using this product instead. I will report back as to how that works out.
I will definitely be buying the full size of this.
**Edited to add...this did not work as I thought it would for a sort of eyeshadow/liner primer, but that's fine, I'll continue using it for its intended purpose.
