My review is for the Eucerin Hyal-Urea anti-wrinkle cream, wich is with 5% Urea.
I received a sample of this product somewhere, can't really remember where, but I really like it. It kept my skin really moisturized and really soft, without being greasy. It does not irritate my skin, in fact it calm it, and it goes on smoothly. I think it's really a good cream for the colder month. It will probably be too greasy for summer thought.

Got rid of my dry skin as soon as I put it on my face, my skin can look a little greasy (especially around my T-Zone) if I put too much of this product on. Also, I think £11 is a bit expensive, but it's a miracle so I would definitely buy again.

I have dry skin that is also acne prone (adult acne, fun). A double whammy: greasy moisturizers break me out. If I don't moisturize, my skin is tight and flaky. I'm also allergic to something in cosmetics - many products irritate my skin.
This is my HG winter moisturizer. I discovered this when I was looking for something that would help my peeling and flaky nose and eyebrows. I had tried many other creams with poor results - this helped overnight. I now use this as a daily moisturizer during winter and under my makeup. (My 70+ mother likes this too .) In summer, this feels too rich - I switch over to the light blue Eucerin with SPF 15, my summer HG.
For me, the urea is the magic ingredient. The Eucerin product family is large and confusing. In some countries, this is sold as Eucerin 5% Karbamid (karbamide=urea). I've also tried Eucerin Aquaphor - too rich for my skin, would work for chapped lips.

I have been using this product for almost a year now and, for me, the best time to use it is in the summer. For winter I use a vitamin moisturizer and then I put Eucerin over it because its a great base for make up. I like that the velvetiness of the product which gives a feel of a light mechanical barrier against weather conditions as well.

Tried this cream for my very very dry eyelids. It is fantastic. I apply it on the upper eyelids and it does not run into my eyes. It got rid of my extremely dry eyelids. Can wear eye make-up over it.

This is my HG moisturizer. I've searched for YEARS for a moisturizer that actually, well, moisturized. I tend to get dry/very dry skin and this is the only product that has worked for me. I think this would be fantastic if you were using any prescribed acne meds or retin A.
The other thing I love about this moisturizer is that it's great for under makeup. Doesn't pill or make those weird balls (if that makes sense) absorbs quickly, and no fragrance. I will continue to buy until I die.
The only con is I find the container is tiny for the price. Other than that, a 5 for sure!

This is the cream for those suffering from chronically dry, sensitive skin that flares up with anything under the sun. I'm the type of person who turns into a tomato with 99% of facial products, and after spending my entire bank account trying to find a moisturizer to relieve the tightness and redness of winter, this drug-store moisturizer turned up to be the one and only. But enough with that. This is what really matters:
Pros:
- Fragrance Free
- Hypoallergenic (huge plus in my book because I can't even tolerate La Roche Posay's Toleraine, Cetaphil Cream, or Aveeno moisturizers)
- Non greasy, leaves no horrid oily grime on face after use
- Really does smooth your skin (i.e. gets rid of persistent flaky patches)
- Over time, skin feels more capable of holding onto moisture (i.e. I started off needing quite a bit, but over time, my skin seemed to hold its own moisture...if that makes any sense). And if your skin sensitivity is related to dryness, chances are that your skin will end up less red with decent moisture
- Hygienic package: comes in a tube
- Accessible: available at Drug Store
- Affordable (for its efficacy, yes!)
Cons?
- Well, for me it could be even more moisturizing because my skin is a parched angry desert most of the time. But. Other than that, sunscreen would be nice, though that might compromise its hypoallergenic qualities.
Overall, this product is a lifesaver for angry, tight, dry, red, and otherwise nasty skin that won't settle for anything else. If you're at your rope's end trying to calm your face, this moisturizer might be worth a shot. It lives up to the promises it prints on the box. Otherwise, good luck face-cream hunting!

I really like this product. I have tried a lot of really expensive products to soothe my skin - which is really sensitive and gets extremely dry and blotchy in the winter. I would definitely recommend this, it is gentle and soothing and best of all CHEAP!

This cream is great. about 7 months ago i used some acne clearing gel which was drying out my skin like crazy. so i needed something very moisturizing. i have combination skin and normaly wouldn't reach for anyhing for dry skin, but this time i needed quick heal. so i got this cream and have been using it since. im on my second tube now, so it does last long.it feels light on the skin, doesn't clog my pores, absorbes quickly and it's fragrance-free.my skin feels smooth and moistured.i absolutely love it. it's about £10 in boots (every now and then it's on 3for2 offer) but considering it lasts for ages it's well worth it.

LOVE IT. I have sensitive, insanely dehydrated skin. I find putting oily moisturisers on makes my skin break out and freak out but anything less does not moisturise enough - it's a total nightmare. However, a thick layer of this at night is magic - my skin still has some semblance of moisture in the morning which is a massive result in my book. It is far far better than E45 or anything like that. It has no mineral oil for a start (I don't have massive issues with mineral oil as such I just really don't find it to be a good moisturiser). Eucerin 5% urea doesn't block pores and it is very gentle on skin. I don't use it in day as no SPF - am just trying the hyaluron filler SPF15 in the Eucerin range which so far seems good.

MY SAVIOR! I've got super-sensitive acne prone skin and lately I've been getting these dry patches! They come and go when they want. My cousin said she was going through the same thing so she told me to pick up a bottle of this stuff and BAM! Omg, my skin LOVES it! and those nasty-ass patches went away. I love how my skin feels so nice, plump, and hydrated after using this stuff. I can't live without it! and it doesn't make my acne prone sensitive skin worse! yayyyyy!!! @_@v

MY REVIEW IS FOR HYAL-UREA CREAM.
I use both versions - day and night cream.
Both contain 5% urea AND Sodium hyaluronate. I am extermly surprised to find they work great on my OILY, sensitive skin. No blemishes AT ALL, no redness. My skin feels and looks full of water. In addition hyalurone plumps skin and face looks younger. I use these creams for a 3 months now and I bought my second tubes recently. I won't change soon.
In the evenings I use: 1) Avene gentle gel cleanser with cold cream (I will replace it with Euserin 5% Urea cleanser); 2) 2% salicilic acid lotion; 3) 5% BP cream; 4) Hyal-Urea night cream.
In tne morning: 1) Avene gentle gel cleanser with cold cream; 2) Hyal-Urea day cream; 3) Euserin Anti-Pigment SPF 30 cream.
I've never had such clean and smooth skin.
Excuse me for my english, I'm not native :)

Pros:
- absorbs easily
- lightweight
- no fragrance
- relieves tightness without greasy feeling
- good for winter skin
Cons:
- quite expensive for its size
- no spf
BEST moisturizer. It actually does what it claims to do. This is the most lightweight moisturizer I know which still prevents the dry tight feeling, without the grease.

I tend to have dry skin, especially in the winter, & the area underneath my eyes tends towards dryness, which complicates makeup application.
After using an eye cream that was too harsh for my skin, my undereye area was peeling, rough, & very dry/irritated. I read some reviews on Eucerin's undereye cream & decided to give it a shot but my drugstore doesn't carry it, so I tried this one.
The results were amazing. The dry skin cleared away in 2 days & with continued use my skin feels soft & supple. I am a beauty junkie who tries a lot of different stuff & this cream has done for my dry skin what cream from a derm couldn't do & at half the cost. I use this daily after applying my treatments & my skin no longer get that tight/strained feeling. Will definately repurchase.

As I get older my skin gets less oily, so this was the first winter I had to trade in my usual Olay daily moisturizer for something that was more moisturizing. My Olay is perfect for the summertime, but it just wasn't cutting it.
I had this Eucerin as a sample and decided to give it a try. It's excellent! I wish it had an SPF in it (I'm the kinda girl who likes to have SPF in all her face products), but since I only plan on using this during the winter when the sun isn't as prominent then it's not that big of a deal. A little goes a long way, and it's surprisingly moisturizing considering how light it feels.
I like the squeeze bottle as opposed to a pump, because I find there's always product you can't get at the end of a pump.
Overall, really great product for these cold, dry Canadian winters. Will definitely repurchase and use for future winters!

I was really surprised at the moisturizing ability of this thin lotion-like moisturizer. My skin did not feel dry after; the scent is similar to many products geared towards sensitive skin. I really like the hygienic tube form. I haven't really noticed a change in skin texture but it's only been a few days. It was on sale for 14CAD which is reasonable for a nice facial moisturizer. I've found it difficult to find one for extremely dry and sensitive skin.

I bought this on the strength of the many positive reviews, so thanks everyone! My skin is normally pretty trouble free if I keep my routine simple, but I had TOTALLY wrecked it by using some products that were way too strong for my sensitive skin. I can't stress enough how bad it was - bright red, irritated, itchy, peeling, the works. This wonderful moisturiser was soothing from the first application and calmed everything right down faster than I'd ever hoped possible! Within just 2 days there was no sign at all of the horrendous state my skin had been in - miraculous! Another week or so down the line, my skin looks fabulous. It's plumped up and healthy looking. This cream is excellent, and I'll be sticking with it! One other thing I'd like to add is that my skin is quite sensitive to a lot of moisturisers, and there are many that cause it to breakout or burn - this one gave me absolutely NO problems whatsover. Love it! :D

To the reviewer who blamed her breakouts on the lanolin in this product - natural lanolin made from sheep's wool is NOT a cause of acne at all. It's man-made lanolin's that cause acne. This moisturizer contains natural lanolin. Many people get confused about lanolin...but yeah, it's possibly another ingredient in this that's breaking you out, or something else.
Anyway, I'm really liking this moisturizer! My skin has been so hectic lately - it's oily yet dry and flaky in patches. Skin was literally peeling off of my forehead, nose, cheeks and chin...it was horrible as I've never experienced it before (my skin is usually oily in the t zone and normal on the cheeks). I think the combination of the winter weather and lack of a really hydrating moisturizer has caused it. Needless to say, I was sick of my skin looking so nasty and went to get a new moisturizer to try and fix it.
This product is pretty pricey, especially for 50ml, but I think the price is justified as I really like it. Packaging is hygeinic and will help stop bacterial contamination pretty well. I use this once a day after cleansing. It spreads very easily and leaves my skin feeling so smooth. It doesn't cause me any irritation which is good as I have sensitive skin. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy on me - I can definately use this under makeup. It doesn't make my skin oil up either, like many moisturizers do. Best thing of all - my skin doesn't flake up or get dry when I'm using this. My skin just looks normal! Also, I have very acne-prone skin but this has not caused me to break out.
Overall I'm very happy with this. I would repurchase :)

This was my first moisturizer. As soon as I started using MU and different HE moisturizers, my skin wasn't looking as great. I thought about what was different in my routine and I immediately remembered this cream. My skin is normal to dry with an oily nose. It gets extremely irritated and clogged on products containing fragnance, comedogenic oils, etc. I have Kerastosis Pilaris on my cheeks - white bumps with redness around them - and this cream is almost like a miracle for that. It smoothes out the bumps almost completely and decreases the redness - As urea is considered to be very moisturizing and smoothing, which makes it amazing for us with KP, and lactic acid which seals in moisture, exfoliates and controls the redness. I use it at night only, since it's too heavy and rich to be used under MU and takes a while to absorb completely. It hydrates my skin well and I never have as badly dry skin during winter time anymore either. It's non-comedogenic and fragnance free, which makes a good gentle calming moisturizer to use after AHA peels, hair removal, and it's suitable for sensitive, acne-prone skins. Keeps specific skin conditions under control such as keratosis pilaris, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis - It doesn't really act as a treatment, as the results are temporary, but definitely is a very multi-purpose product and keeps me from buying other (and not as effective) night time moisturizers. It's packaged in a simple tube, with a screw off lid. It lasts me about 2-3 months (the tube contains 50 ml) when used once a day.

I began using this moisturiser daily after air-conditioning and winter weather began sucking the life out of my skin.
The results were fantastic, my flakey dry skin was hydrated and felt so smooth. I continued to use this for close to a year and even got my mam hooked on it.
Over this period i slowly began to notice my breakouts were getting more severe and my pores were becoming very clogged.
Panicked, i completley stoped eating chocolate, drinking coffee and alcohal, drank litres of water a day, began taking a mountain of vitamins and used acne products but nothing was working.
About this time my mother noticed that the pores all around and on her nose had become enlarged and full of blackheads. Shes 60 and has never had a blackhead in her life!!
For some reason i never thought of taking a closer look at my moisturiser (duh).
One of the ingrediants is LANOLIN.
Renowned for clogging the pores and causing acne. Web searchs will explain more.
I really am gutted because i am now heavly scarred from these breakouts :[
BEWARE.
