This product worked really well for me when traveling. I have blemish prone skin, and although this was not particularly deep cleansing, as you wouldn't expect, it worked really well for a short period of time, keeping my blemishes under control.
I also use this in the mornings for a quick cleanse and tone.
One problem with this product is it gets used up reasonably quickly if your using it a lot, especially if your using it to take off eye makeup, but if you're mainly using it for traveling, this would be a great one to buy.

This is my favorite cleansing product for a really long time. Whatever i try i switch back to clarins. For three years my skin turned to a really oily and acne prone condition. But clarins improved my skin. It clears all traces of makeup, refreshes skin and gives a great glow. I think only downside is, it leaves the skin a little sticky but i still recommend to everyone with oily- acne prone skin.

It is a gentle cleanser but I don't use it on a regular basis. It is too slippery-liquid to be used on my eyes without a cotton ball, and it is useless with a cotton ball because it can't remove all the make up, especially mascara.

I use it during the summer days because it is really refreshing, as it contains mint. I also use it after my grooming routine if some mascara/eye liner residues show up in my under eye area.

It doesn't dry the skin, the smell is delicate and minty.

I first heard of this product when i was shopping wiht my mum. She had always raved about clarins but i thought it was for old people. When she was buying some products, she was offered some free samples and i happened to have this fall into my hands. I was skeptical, but now i understand why people rave about clarins. It is amazing! Removes all traces of make-up and dirt from my face and leaves it feeling clean and refreshed. I use it every night to remove my make-up although i use a clarins eye make-up remover for my eyes because the cleanser isn't intended for use on eyes. I have been using this product for a few months now and i have noticed an improvment in my skin. I only need a little bit on a cotton pad and the bottle lasts for ages so it is well worth the price! Strongly recommend it to anyone.

BRING IT BACK, CLARINS! In South Africa, at least, this is discontinued - just when I'd found it! Perfection in a bottle for my oily combination skin. Sure, if I've been wearing a ton of makeup I'd prefer a foaming cleanser, but this is absolutely spot on for light makeup days and mornings. My skin feels extremely happy afterward. The slightly sticky feeling goes away within minutes. And obviously, people, remove eye makeup first with a real remover, geez, what cleanser removes mascara?!
TWO WEEKS LATER: Still going strong, not a single new blemish or blackhead (I was slightly fearing it), not a thing to complain about, perfection, using it twice daily almost religiously. WHY is it discontinued?!

This is a really lovely cleanser. It leaves skin feeling fresh, clean and glowing. Cleanses the skin and eliminates oil/dirt very well. The best bit is that you don't have to wash your face after!!! Really good for oily/combination skins. I use mine practically everyday and its really nice to use in the morning to make you feel refreshed :-)

This was the first water based cleanser I used. My skin was more oily then as it was the start of summer so was good at balancing my skin. Although after using it for a while my skin started to become very tight and everytime I used it the skin below my eyes would be really sore and sensitive. Would recommend if you have really oily skin but if you are more combination I would try something else...

I'm a BIG fan of Clarins skin care line. But this is a huge disappointment product.

Mint is suppose to be good for oily skin. But I think that there too much mint in it. Stings my face and worst still leaves a sticky feeling on my face. Does not remove my light makeup completely and I just wear concealer only.

YUCKS!!! There are better water cleansers out there. Luckily I bought my at some neighbourhood beauty store, so its 25% cheaper than Clarins sells it.

Now that I've tried a good number of micellar water cleansers, I can say Clarins' are pretty much the least effective water cleanser I've tried. This may be because they don't use micellar technology(at least the trainer didn't even know the word micellar when I asked her about this compared to the other micellar cleansers on the market), and as such are not as effective. This one I find leaves my skin ever so slightly sticky, moderately clean, dried out and minty fresh to the point of being overbearing and irritating to my skin. Ineffective at removing substantial eye makeup. Overpriced for what it does. If you want a one-step cleanser for combo/oily skin, go for Sebium from Bioderma, it's 10x better and cheaper, too.

I got a good sample size of this product as a GWP. However, I was totally unimpressed. I don't think that it removes all traces of dirt and you have to use it several times to get any type of result, especially if you wear a lot of makeup (which I don't). It did not leave my skin dry or irritated and it did feel fresh with a nice scent, but an inexpensive cleanser such as Tzone does a much better job and is much cheaper!

I really like the water feel of this product, as cream cleanser often leaves me feeling like it is left on my skin. This cleanser however leaves me feeling as if I have washed my face and is very refreshing. The smell is lovely, and it has never broken me or irritated the delicate areas of my skin. I do sometimes wonder if it takes everything off, but as long as I use enough (two cotton pads), I think it does. As noted in some of the peach version's reviews, the bottle is very wasteful, and decanting into a spray bottle is much better (and ensures you cleanse your face evenly, instead of swiping some parts with a cotton pad already covered in removed make-up). The price is a bit steep (£15 for 200ml), but until I find something as good I will continue to pay it.
EDIT: Having started using Dermalogica Pre-Clense as well, I realise that this doesn't get my skin more than about 60% clean.

This stuff is amazing! My water froze up and I've been going next door to my Mom's to shower, wash my face, etc. It's really cold (hence the frozen water pipes!) and I dread going next door late at night just to wash my face. I remembered having a sample of something my SA told me was good to have for when I was sick or too tired to wash my face. I dug through my Clarins stash of samples & extras and I found this! Tah-Dahh! (I tell ya, my SA is awesome!) I LOVE it! It's perfect! I used the sample a couple times and just bought a full size of it. My face feels so clean & refreshed after using this. I even use it around my eyes & on my eyelids. I don't wear makeup everyday, but this takes off all my makeup, not including eye makeup. Although, it does take off eye makeup remover quite nicely. This product has saved my butt! When my water thaws out, I'll be using this whenever I'm feeling lazy or sick. My SA gave me a great idea, she suggested that I put some cotton rounds into a container and fill it up with this product, so they'll be ready to use! BTW: I almost bought the Peach one, but I had already used this one and knew I could use it without irritation or breaking out. I'll be trying that one next, since my SA gave me a sample:)

I love this, i am lazy to wash my face specially when i am not wearing makeup or light makeup (powder, mascara and blush) but with this i just soak a cotton and i am done, great minty smell, leaves my skin feeling really clean. I'll but the peach one for winter, but warmer weather this is fantastic for my normal skin. Status: HG.
Not HG anymore, I've discovered the Bioderma Micelar for sensitive skin, much cheaper and just as effective :)
