I usually love Stila products but this doesn't work for me. I agree with the previous reviews. The packaging looks really nice and that's what attracted me to this bronzer. Once I applied it on my cheeks, it looked muddy and dirty on me. Even the shimmer can't make it up. I bought number #2 for my NC30 complexion. Would not repurchase.

Ok, like the review below states, the rays oin the sun do wipe off with one swipe. The middle of the sun stays but that's it. Really annoying for a $24 bronzer. I got shade 1 which is the same as Stila's shade 1 regular bronzer which I had before and liked alot. The color is very pretty and natural on me (NC20-25, Stila shade B/C, BE 1.2). But if I wanted the plain bronzer I would've bought it and what is left of the highlighter doesn't make much of a difference. I debated taking this back because I already have a HG bronzer (Victoria's Secret Mosiac bronzer) that I love that is less money, but having used their bronzer before I knew I would get use out of it so I just kept it. But I wish I would've waited for a review cause I probably would've never bought it in the first place.

I bought shade 2 (the darker of the two shades) for my C3 skin. I was really excited to see Stila's new summer 2006 collection on sephora.com and thought that since stila's other bronzers had rave reviews, this would be a good choice. Wrong. The shade is surprisingly too dark, but the biggest problem I had was that the cute highlighting part of the bronzer (the sun) came off after I lightly tested it once. The rays of the sun is not inlayed with bronzer but just a spray on feature. There's really not much highlighting in this bronzer. I think that for a dept. store product that costs three times more than a DS bronzer, this is unacceptable. Perhaps, I just got a bad one (next time I will test the bronzer at a counter). Fortunately, sephora is really nice about returns. My loreal bronzer performs better than this. Also, the powder does not apply smoothly and looks dirty on me.
