I loved the color of this product in the tube when I first saw it. It is a limited edition so I figured it would probably be great like the LE of the blushable creme sticks... my lips are not very pigmented and when I put this on it looks like a light glossy pink...not a coral. It feels so hot on my lips and I HATE lipglosses that feel warm! Ugh! If u swatch it on ur hand the color is beautiful but not enough for me on my lips. Would not repurchase any of the kiss glosses.

Found this gloss at Target before going on a cruise a few weeks ago. It is fantastic! It makes my thin lips look plump and shiny, and the coral color looks great with my light, freckled skin, hazel eyes, and highlighted blonde hair. Love the applicator, too! A must-have for summer!

After reading the reviews on this, and deciding I could use another lip gloss, I decided to go for it. It was on sale, so after tax it was about $4.30 Canadian, which is more money than the other Kiss Glosses but still quite cheap. It sounded perfect to me. I like funky things, and how much funkier can you get than coral with green sparkles?
I am very impressed with this gloss, and believe everything people have said about the colour. It's beautiful. It changes colour with the light and the tone of my lips, so it can be coral, it can be red, it can be pink...
This is how my rating breaks down:
Overall:4. I'd give it a 5, but one time I got a bug stuck on my lips because it was so sticky.
Price: 2. It wasn't dirt cheap. But it wasn't expensive either.
Packaging quality: 4. The QUALITY is okay, but it's not the prettiest thing I've ever seen. Better than the regular KGs, but still semi-ugly.
Sooo....I would say...BUY IT!
EDIT: I am finding the formula of this a bit too tacky for my liking now that I have started using CG Wetslicks. I still love this however...and I've changed my mind about the packaging...very cute.

This looked like yet another peach gloss in the tube so I passed it up the first time I spotted these new LE Kiss Glosses. But the reviews had me going back to the store to look for it--fortunately there was one left. Coral Reef is a bright, summery peach that does indeed have fine green shimmers in it, but the effect is more like the subtle irridescent sheen of the inside of an oyster shell than scary green glitter on your lips. It's really eye-catching, but not garish as long as you don't pile the gloss on. I really like this--something about the glowy phosphorescent effect made my lips look extra lush and glossy. Coral Reef is the most unique lip color I've seen in a long time.
I love these summertime Kiss Glosses and wish that NYC would wise up and make them permanant additions to their line (what's with only having four or five permanant colors?). The texture is ideal: smooth, thick and gel-like (sorta like the Chanel Glossimers, but thicker). There's zero scent or taste, which is amazing for a drugstore lippie. And they come in small, purse-friendly squeeze tubes with slanted tips. All this for only 4 USD! I think I'm going to have to hunt down a backup.

So what do I get for about $4 CAD? A gloss with nice consistency and unique colour. Normally I wouldn't check out NYC's glosses, but "Coral Reef" is such a strange (in a good way) colour that I DID stopped to check. It's a coral that's more on the pink side instead of orange, with teeny tiny green shimmery flakes. Now what the green does is to give the lovely coral colour some dimension - you are NOT going to notice the green on its own. It's a very flattering shade for my pink-toned skin. The consistency is a bit thick, but not sticky, with decent staying power. There's no scent or taste I can detect, which is always a plus with me. NYC should consider making this part of their regular lineup, because this colour is certainly wearable enough to use year-round, and not just summer.

Love this gloss! The colour is absolutely gorgeous and more complex than previous Kiss Glosses. Coral Reef is a medium coral with green iridescence. While green shimmer may sound weird for a lipgloss, it gives such a pretty effect on the lips. Instead of littering my lips with visible green shimmer pieces, it's more of a sheen that gives the colour dimension. It's also nicely pigmented and quite long lasting. My lips look so pouty when I wear this. The texture is thick but not too tacky that it doesn't apply evenly. NYC also upgraded the squeeze tube packaging so it's more attractive than previous Kiss Glosses, at least IMO. I'm still pleasantly surprised that these cheaper Kiss Glosses have better packaging than more expensive tube glosses - slanted tip applicator and a stopper to avoid leaking. Too bad the shade is LE!

Lovely summer coral - you honestly can't beat the price. I like it better than my Chanel Coral colored glossimer, at 1/8 the cost! Stock up. Or don't - all the more for me :)

I am really sensitive to scents, hence I hated the nyc lip gloss with the sponge tip applicator. But wow this is a nice gloss. I never expected it. It comes off as a gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous peachy coral gloss with greenish sparkle(weird I know but trust me it's gorgeous) that light up my aab/fff skin tone. Can be layered into a warm red shade that is pretty too. I love tacky glosses because I hate thin ones that feel like oil on my lips, and this has awesome staying power. I couldn't discern a scent on the first application which is awesome (the ones in the tube w/ sponge applicator smells TERRIBLE) but after putting it on many times I've noticed it has a slight fruit punch scent, which is really nice too :) I love this, now I'm lemming all the kiss glosses heh heh heh. Hate that this shade is LE, I'm going to have to buy a few backups before they dc it

Another great gloss from NYC! At only $2.99, Coral Reef is a steal...it comes in a tube with slanted applicator and goes on with a great deal of pigmentation and shine. Coral Reef is a beautiful medium coral pink shade with green iridescence (green sounds weird I know, but it looks absolutely stunning!) and unlike some of the other Kiss glosses, it doesn't have any off putting scent. Limited edition, so grab them while you can!!
