I purchased this product directly from the store. I like how the moisturizer is not scented and it did seem to moisturize my face. However, this products breaks me out even the first couple of times I've used it. Personally, this product did not help my skin.

I won a year's supply of this through a Kiehl's/Facebook competition. Before receiving it, I had never tried it. I moved three years ago from a very humid area of the us to a very dry one. My skin was really complaining about that dryness. All kinds of flaking, wrinkling, just ugh. I've tried several different moisturizers and while in the humid area, I was very oily, and a very light moisturizer was all I could stand.
Here, because of the dryness, I began to look toward heavier and heavier moisturizers, almost completely losing that oiliness issue I'd had all my life.
This stuff though, this stuff is different. Feels very heavy to the touch, and that scared me. But after I put a dab on and smoothed it all over my face, neck and upper chest, I became delighted. It sinks in, really sinks in. There is zero greasy feel after, and my skin feels soft and comfortable. I have hormonal acne and this hasn't affected me as far as breakouts at all. If it was less expensive, I'd use it all over my body.
Bottom line: effective moisturizer that feels really luxurious, and it's from a eco-conscious company, so that makes me feel good. I dread when my year's supply runs out, as I'm already addicted and will absolutely have to repurchase!

This face cream is my favourite and by far the best that I have tried. I have sensitive, milia and breakout prone skin, and I have never had an issue with this moisturiser. A little goes a long way (I only ever need a little pea sized blob to cover my whole face as well as neck) and it gets absorbed nicely into my skin with no greasy residue.

The only thing I would like to change about this is the packaging. Perhaps a squeezy tube/bottle would be more hygienic, but in all honesty, the product itself is fantastic enough that I don't really care :)

Great for dry and cold weathers. Works best during spring and autumn. Not good enough during winter. My skin still ended up flaking and my cheeks were tight when smiling.

Also, when I came back to my hot humid country, it was a nightmare. I used it for a month before I realised it was the reason why I was getting little bumps on my face and the crazy sheen.

Would buy again for the appropriate climate though!

Although this product is greasy, it doesn't make my face produce excessive oil. Using this on its own is not enough to moisturise my skin. I noticed this felt lighter than the Ultra Facial Moisturiser which is strange because this is supposed to be thicker. I have also noticed slight stinging and redness on my skin upon application which goes away after a while, I am not sure if it is an allergic reaction, or that my skin is too dehydrated, since I recently had an allergic reaction and damaged skin from using the wrong skincare products.

My FAVORITE basic moisturizer! This cream is wonderful. Rich and hydrating without being greasy. Never irritating. Never clogs my pores. And it's lighter on my skin than the Ultra Facial Moisturizer, weird but true. I hate running out because it's a little bit pricey, but worth it! This is one of my staples. Have repurchased many times and will continue to do so in the future.

Initially, this cream worked fantastically for me! I have been using for about 3 weeks now. Recently however, it stings my cheeks when I put it on. I am not sure why I am having a reaction now! I really love how it moisturizes my super dry skin in winter, however, I think I may have to find another moisturizer now that this one is causing a reaction.

I have seriously dry skin, to the extent that my skin gets flaky especially around the nose and the forehead. I tried using different mosturizers but there came only one uniform result - the flaking ceased for like an hour, and then my nose got oily (strange right? I know). I hated it.
And then I started using this facial cream. The flaking completely ceased. No more oily nose/ dry foreheads. No breakouts. Nothing but great skin (hydrated but not oily).
My HG cream in winter definitely. Heartily recommend this product to all!!!
p.s. I use the Ultra Facial Toner before applying this cream. It's a lovely combination.

I've tried many moisturizers from loreal, aveeno, Dior, Clinique, and clarins. I've never come a cross a moisturizer like this one, it keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day and a great base from my tinted moisturizer. I tried Khiels oil free formula thinking it would be better for my combination skin but it didn't help balance my skin at all. If you're not too sure to purchase this product ask for a sample and give it a try, you won't regret it!

This is my HG facial moisturizer. I have sensitive, dry skin and I have to use a cream for my moisturizer. It's that dry. And this does the trick. It doesn't irritate my face and provides ample moisture, especially in Fall and Winter.

Love it. I have been using Cerave for a few years now, but in the winter my skin gets so dry (I live in Colorado) that Cerave just doesn't cut it. I also use a retinol treatment on my face as well which is drying. This moisturizer does a great job of keeping my skin hydrated. My face does feel slightly tacky even a few hours after putting it on, but that personally doesn't bother me. Much better than feeling dry. This cream is very gentle, no fragrance, and nice thick texture. It is also pretty inexpensive as far as moisturizers go so I don't feel bad using it pretty liberally. Highly recommend if you have very dry skin that can be finicky.

This is one of the best creams I've ever used. I really love that this is virtually scent-free. I live beside Alaska so the dry cold really can do a lot of damage to your skin. So far using this cream this winter I have no dry spots! The only downside is if you put too much on your skin really gets oily. I use the tiniest amount - really only enough to cover the tip of my pinky. I like to emulsify the cream in my hands before putting it on my face. I took one lippie off because it can be finicky to get the right amount without getting oily, and once in a while my skin burns. But other than that I think this is my HG cream for winter time!

My skin is really easily dehydrated and tends to be on the sensitive side. I've used lots of other products from the drugstore, Lush and even some higher end brands. I love that this is fragrance-free because I'm very sensitive to scents. It is a really light cream that rubs into my skin beautifully. I have had no sensitivity or irritation - in fact it is very soothing and calming to my skin. I live in the PNW and while it isn't quite enough for our dry winters, it is easily layered with other products. I was in the Bay Area for a week and it was definitely too heavy for that warmer, more humid climate, but for PNW I think this is my HG. My skin used to be so dry and sensitive and awful - now I can actually try other products or wear makeup more than once a week without it freaking out! I wish it came in a pump instead of a jar for sanitation reasons, but a small jar only lasted me a month and a half. I typically use a raspberry-sized amount morning and night, sometimes mid-day as well. For what it does to my skin I'm totally happy with the price!

EDIT: My skin has gotten drier since the winter moved in. Truly dehydrated, flaking and cracking. I've had to move away from this product as it stings my dry spots. I've switched to HadaLabo products which have been fantastic, hydrating and super gentle. I still think it's a great product but is just not for me anymore!

I have tried a million different moisturizers and this one is my favourite so far! I have combination skin most of the year. I wear makeup on a daily basis and this is the most perfect base.
I use this during the day and as a night cream.

I am also a makeup artist, and I use this on my clients as well.

I love that it is light and fragrance free.
I will be buying this moizturizer for years to come!

I do however wish that it would come in a pump form instead of the jar...makes it a little more sanitary.

I tried so many moisturizers, literally a lot. products that has failed me includes products from Dior, estee lauder, origins, Chanel and the list goes on and on.

i just finished one small jar of this. I bought this the first time in this summer in HK. the weather there is very humid and hot. and this cream was a tiny tiny bit "heavy" for it ( however, everything on the face feels heavy under such weather). then i continue using it when i am back to Europe and fell in love, seriouly in love. i hydrates my seriously dehydrated skin so so well. my skin looks and feels and really is drenched by this product. I finished the first small jar (50 ml) and when i passed by the department store in Amsterdam i picked up another one, a huge one. If they come in an even bigger size, i would buy the bigger one. STAPLE. ABSOLUTE HG.

noted that i need nothing more than hydration. i don't ask for anti-aging, suncreen, tightness, lifting or whatever the fuss in a moisturizer. and this hydrates like no other.

i also have tried other moisturizers for the brand. the liquid version of this is quite nice too. however, it is a lot more greaser and sunscreeny then the cream version, which is quite unusual. this is lighter and more hydrating, less greasy.

i have also tried the tinted moisturizer from it. it is now my day to day foundation/moisturizer. i have ditched using foundation in the morning, i never thought it would happen but i will review it under that product.

generally love this brand. it just works!
