Kielh's ultra face
Returned, it makes me break out. Nothing major, just a tiny little pimple after each time I've used this, but nevertheless...I have rosacea but otherwise, not sensitive or finicky skin.
The formula is thick and rich, but not in an unpleasant way, it smooths over the skin easily and sinks in within a few minutes leaving my skin feeling nicely hydrated. No scent. Pricey (1.7 oz for $26.50). I love Kiehl's apothecary-type packaging, but would prefer items in tubes rather than jars. I'll stick with my Cetaphil Restoraderm--which I highly recommend.

This is the perfect moisturizer if you are on Accutane or any other medicine that makes your skin dry. I imagine its perfect even if you just have dry skin. It is definitely not as oily as the Ultra Facial lotion for the face. Its creamier and less oily. After putting it on my skin glows and quickly absorbs it. I keep buying it. Love it.

- good moisturising effect that lasts for a long time
- great consistency: a little goes a long way; allows a 'thin' layer to be applied
- sometimes stings my (sensitive) skin

I have combination/ sensitive skin type and most moisturizers go well on face without any drying effect. However on my recent trip to Australia (Autumn time), my face was so dry and tight from my usual moisturizer. Luckily I brought this with me in my trip because as soon I switch to it, my face was relief from dryness and back to normal. I was amazed from the result.
The texture was between lotion and cream. Not too thick and easily spread evenly onto the face. It was easily absorb.
Overall, this is a very basic moisturizer but would recommend anyone who is looking moisturizer for everyday use.

I like this moisturizer but would prefer to give it the overall rating 3,5 if that was an option. Heres why:
I have rather dry and sensitive skin thats prone to small white heads. This product did combat my dryness and didn't make me break out.
What i dont like about the product is the ingredients list. It contains some nasty ingredients, the worst being parabens. On occasions when i had extra dry patches of skin, i felt the areas burn after application. This for me is a sign that some ingredients aren't very gentle.
Overall, the product worked on the surface of the skin but I doubt that it is a good for our bodies in the long run.

Very basic moisturizer. It works. However it does sting on some days, and makes me break out a little bit on others. It also contains a very long ingredients list, which makes it hard to isolate what exactly is causing sensitivity toward the product. I feel that there a better products on the market that are more gentle and contain antioxidants and other skin nourishing goodies.

This is my first review and it has been long overdue. This product is AMAZING!!! HG status. I've been using for about 3+ years now. When I first started using this product, my skin was oily/combination. Initially, I thought this will be too thick and heavy for my skin type but after trying out the Kiehls Ultra Facial Moisturizer and realize it wasn't working for me, I decided to try a sample of this and it has been a match made in heaven ever since.
I have mild case of eczema and works great with my condition. This does not break me out and I have slightly sensitive skin. When I don't use this product, my skin gets crazy. People always comment on how great my skin has gotten and I definitely believe it has a lot to do with this product. I even convince my boyfriend to use this product and now he voluntary uses it everyday instead of me forcing him. Everyone also commented on how great his skin is now also.
My only con would probably be the price. Roughly $40ish for the 4.2oz
There's no spf(doesn't bother me because I like to use a separate sunscreen)
It comes in a jar(not sanitary)
Kiehl's are very generous with their sample. Just try it and you won't be disappointed.

I really like this basic moisturiser, it soaks in with no grease and absorbs immediately and keeps me hydrated all day. It is very basic though so no other benefits. I rate this higher than the newly formulated clinique DDML, which still leaves a film on me and pills under certain other products. You wont have this issue with this. I rate this above CeraVe and other basic drugstore moisturisers. Its cosmetically elegant and is good for normal/dry types. No real smell no colour, very fine, not too thick and very reasonably priced.

I was looking for a moisturizer that isn't greasy or feel heavy on my skin but at the same time hydrate the dry areas of my skin. I was recommended this by the SA in Selfridges. For reference, I have an acne-prone oily/combination skin.
Unfortunately, this product is way too heavy for and feels greasy on the skin. I wish I got a sample because now I've just wasted £24. I also looked at the ingredients and it has almond oil and other oils in it, which is a big no-no if you have acne or oily skin.
I will not be repurchasing as it isn't suitable for me. This my be suitable for people with dryer skins but if you have acne-prone and oily skin definitely stay away from this product.

Keep in mind that i have been genetically blessed with very good skin, no acne, very mild hormonal acne, overall excellent texture, but every sensitive with slight redness.
This is my HG mostuireizer!
I have tried everything from Olay, Philosophy, Neutrogena, Ole Henrikson, La Mer, and Serious Skin Care, just to name a few.
I thought my skin was lovely before, but this stuff is IT!
Glowing, hydrated, smooth, peaches and cream!
I got a sample of this when trying th Kielhs Creamy Avacodo Eye Cream, and thsi blew me away. My skin feels like silk and has never looked better.
If you have a tried everything and still haven't found "the one" please don't hesitate to try this! My extremely sensitive eczema prone skin loves this stuff, and it never causes me to break out in either acne, or those annoying clear itchy bumps. This also helps to soothe and clear up any redness or breakouts from retinol use, much to my amazement!
If I thought I had great skin before, after trying this, there is simply no going back, even in the current heat wave my skin looks glowy and luminous, not greasy and oily. I can only imagine what this will do for my dry winter skin!
It does take a little while to absorb, but all in all (and even the price for $27 for 1.7 oz I find to be very reasonable) will last youforever! You literally only need a pea size amount to do your entire face (and I have a rather, ahem, large face hehe) don't over do it or you can end up looking kinda greasy.
So far after nearly a month in the hot summer I haven't found a single negative! I will update when winter comes around and my skin is much drier.
EDIT:Now entering winter I'm loving this even more! My biggest gripe is that I don't feel it sinks in all the way, but it thinks that's what helps it be sooo moisturizing. Will definitely buy again hen I run out (which I almost have!)
