The colors are fine if you want a very subtle, neutral look. I will say that the packaging while,"compact" offers nothing. No applicator, no mirror so I have to carry a small brush with me if I want to be apply to reapply away from home.

I ended up using this as a blush because it just didn't show up on my eyes at all. The powder is very stubborn. It doesn't cling to the brush and doesn't transfer from brush to lid well at all. I have never had this problem with an eye shadow before so I don't think it's my brushes, or me. I have a lot of color in my cheeks naturally so I use just a hint of blush on top of my foundation so this works ok for that. I won't buy it again though.

Ugh....I don't know why I bought this. The colors are pretty to look at in the package, but they don't show up worth a darn on me. I'm pretty fair, so I don't think it's me! I also don't like the grooves that are pressed into the surface. It was really hard to get much product up on my brush.

These colors are very natural. They go on pretty well and blend very well. I use this trio whenever I want to make a very natural eye look. It really makes my light green eyes stand out beautifully.

Nice neutral soft shades for everyday. Light peachy pink for lid (largest amount), dark brown and pale taupe with slight shimmer. This has slightly better pigmentation and more wearable colors than the other trios. It makes a great, easy everyday eye. I like the small package too--very compact but sturdy plastic.

first time buying a max factor eyeshadow and i loved it. nice pretty good pigmentation but the only complaint is there is no divider between these and i would end up mixing them by accident. unless of coarse tht was your intension, go right ahed these would be fantastic for you! but i still love them...just gotta be careful.

This was my first time using a Max Factor product, and I am rather pleased with the outcome. I bought this eyeshadow trio at the beginning of summer, and it has become my go-to for everyday use. The case is surprisingly small; it fits easily in your purse (or your pocket), and is great for touch-ups.
It goes on very smooth; as other reviewers have noted, the colors are fairly light, so you have to apply several coats for it to show up. Great for a summer daytime look.

i don't know why i decided to buy this, as i have a bunch of MAC neutrals (this trio is neutral) but since it came with 3 colors, i figured this would be great for on the go. i still ended up using MAC rice paper and espresso to finish the look. the product is super cheap $4.59 (at ulta) and the packaging isn't so bad. i know you may think that while swiping your brush, you might get the other colors on there because it's so tiny, but it hasn't happened to me (i use MAC 239SE or the e/s brush from eco tools). the color pay off is all right, it would have been better if the brown was a little darker and the light shades were a little frostier. oh well.

the only reason why i wouldn't purchase this particular trio again is because i have too many neutral eyeshadows.

I'm surprised by the reviews I've read about this particular "color." It's actually three colors, and though I've only used one of the colors in the palette, I feel I must say something! The middle color is a deep plum brown shade that I keep reaching for. I haven't really touched the other two colors, so I wish they sold the color I like in a single pan, but I will definitely get it again. I get so many compliments when I wear it. I have all the high-end shadows out there and this one wears as well as any of them without creasing too much. I use Trish McEvoy eye base essentials before I apply any eye shadow, and this one wears better than my beloved MAC Espresso. And of course you have to use a good eyeshadow brush, for Pete's sake! Does anybody really use those silly sponge-tip applicators anyway?

don't know why everyone is complaining about it not coming with a brush--you can clearly see it doest come with one, so don't buy it if you don't like that--better yet, buy a damn brush set you cheap asses.

too little product for the price.. and it is difficult to get only ONE color on the brush since they're so squished together.

its too powdery for my complexion, to be honest. not enough pigmentation and i'm only very light olive.

Doesn't come w/ an applicator, which I hate. Each shadow is shimmery. Really doesn't show up.

This eye shadow trio consists of a pale rose base shade, plus two soft shades of plum (all feature a slight shimmer). Max Factor's new shadows have a smooth, easy-blending texture, and they're very long-wearing. Toast to That is good for a subtle, neutral daytime look.
