No words can top how I feel for this fragrance, but not on me but my boyfriend. It's so good ! A perfect unique scent and melts with his natural body chemistry very well. The patchouli note warmly pops up and makes a main appearance after long hours of wear. Oh - yes, it wears long and very well ! It is certainly not inexpensive but worth it. Am getting into the idea of buying him Fresh's Sake too. This is simply wonderful and I hope it will never be discontinued.

I LOVE this perfume!!! It's such a nice, woodsy, mild scent that is never too much. Clearly the people who think it smells like pot have no idea what pot actually smells like. There is absolutely NOTHING about this that smells like weed, and I've smelled plenty in my day. Don't avoid this product because of those erroneous reviews, because you'll really be missing out!! Almost every time I wear this I get compliments. It's the most-used of all of my Fresh perfumes!! :)

I'm also surprised at the negative comments on this. Not only do I get a clean, soapy smell, but the women who sit next to me at work constantly comment how I smell so clean, like soap or fresh laundry. I'm wearing this during these dog days of summer and do not feel it's too much at all. I'm very happy with this perfume! Lasting power is fantastic.

Had high hopes for this one, but it reminds me of public restrooms. It has a perfumey smell, and a dirty smell. Yuck.

I like most of Sugar's perfumes...but on me this one was....ew. EXTREMELY green and woodsy with my body chemistry, to the point where it smelled like I was wearing men's cologne. Very masculine - and I appreciate a unisex scent, but on me this was just wrong.

You will either love or hate this one and there is no in between. I love it because it's like nothing else I ever smelled before and it stops people in their tracks to ask what I'm wearing and compliment it. It has a very "green" and musky ring to it that lasts literally all day. Yes it's pricey but it's because it's an EDP not EDT

I cannot stop spraying myself with this!!!! I ordered the eau de parfum online, on a whim after reading great reviews, and when I first smelled it, I really didn't like it. But I tried it on, and after a few minutes it changed from spicy to more mild, sweet, but soo sexy at the same time. I love the way this smells on me. It may be a bit masculine, but that's probably why I like it. It is the perfect fragrance for Autumn/Winter. I will absolutely buy this again, probably in the biggest bottle ;-)

Isn't terrible but doesn't last. I put that I wouldn't buy again only because I am bored of it. A few compliments with hugs from both sexes but it does nothing for me. Definitely not pot smelling...and if a bit patchouli it would be almost none. Musky but light. It's ok and I used almost the whole bottle.

All the bad reviews for this make me sad! I love this fragrance. It is definitely unisex, I guess leaning towards a men's fragrance, but I wear it all the time anyways. It's dark and spicy, but something about it keeps it light and airy at the same time. (I'm horrible at describing fragrances, all I know is that I really like it!)

I love spicy, thicker scents so I love this but I can see how someone else wouldn't. Other fragrances I like, for reference, which may help you determine whether or not you'd like it: Dior Addict, Lolita Lempicka (original), Burberry Brit, Guerlain Tonka Imperiale.

Definitely test this out as it's pretty unique and I think most people either love it or hate it. I will say, however, despite my inability to describe scents/pick out notes, I DEFINITELY do not smell any cannabis :)

I'm sitting here chuckling at the "THIS SMELLS LIKE MARIJUANA" reviews.
Take it from someone who has dabbled for a very long time. Just because you *think* you smelled it at a party 20 years ago, doesn't mean you know what it smells like.

So no, you don't have to worry about smelling like a dopehead when you wear this.

While on that subject... thankfully the patchouli isn't a prominent note in this fragrance.

It does open up with a very recognizable sandalwood scent. I gotta admit, the rest of it confuses my nose. I can't pick out any individual note, especially after it dries down.

I can tell you this. While it is a very nice unisex scent, I prefer this on a man. REALLY prefer it. Smelling this on a man makes me want to do naughty things to them. Yessirree.

A bit pricy at $75 USD... Sephora is now selling a smaller version for $35 USD. Which is the perfect size. Just a little is needed. Definitely not recommended for those who like to BATHE in their fragrance!

why do the ones i dont like last all day on me?! this one is still going strong, 13 hours after application.. but it developed into a 'body odor' scent on me. With my body chemistry this was not good,i would not purchase this, and i would not wear this again. musty on me.

Personally, I don't buy into the notion that only women can wear "feminine" scents and only men can wear "masculine" scents. In the world of perfume (and maybe one day everywhere else), gender knows no bounds. Fresh's Cannabis Santal is often marketed toward men and thought of as a masculine scent but in my opinion, Cannabis Santal can work for any gender.


In a quick turn of phrase, I can sum Cannabis Santal up like this: it is, without a doubt, sex on wheels.


If its "sister" scent, Cannabis Rose is a contralto, Cannabis Santal is a baritone -- maybe even a bass. Cannibis Santal wastes no time and quickly bypasses its more citrus-y top notes and immediately develops into a deep and rich but nevertheless warm musk. It is rounded out by vanilla and a rather woodsy patchouli. On my skin, a more spicy note jumps to the foreground while the body of the scent hums along. It is complex and layered but the blend smells effortless. All of this makes for one powerfully sexual scent. I will say this, however: Cannabis Santal is inviting, enveloping, and sexy in precisely the same way that a burning fireplace in the winter is inviting, enveloping, and sexy. There is no intrigue, no chase, no seduction; Cannabis Santal is the chocolate part of the romance, not the wine. I don't think of this as a fault in the least. It is just that there are many different ways a scent can be sexy.


I don't think Cannabis Santal is something that could have mass appeal across the gender spectrum, but I do think that for those who would enjoy it, it is a marvelous experience. I can't say that it would make for an ideal "signature" fragrance but it is excellent for date night, crisp fall days, and perhaps good for an "everyday" winter scent. My favorite time to wear Cannabis Santal is when the weather is cool and I want to have a commanding presence. Whether in a business context or in a romantic context, Cannabis Santal commands attention through one very delicious invitation.

I hate the leaky Fresh bottles. They all leak when I press the sprayer. Yuck! But I love this scent. It's woodsy, a little musky, a bit of a sharp peppery bite, it's just beautiful, especially in the winter. But why don't I have a bottle at home? Because my husband hates it. To him it smells like a pine air freshener. I traded it for Cannabis Rose, which I don't love and neither does he. I should have stuck with Cannabis Santal, which is what brought me to the Fresh line to begin with.

Sadly, I'm not loving the Cannabis Santal. I thought I would as I postively love the Cannabis Rose and I like sandalwood. But this is a combination of overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time, really quite over powering in the smell dept, and then a really weird smell that could go the way of head achy and slightly reminds me of a men's dept store. It also got rave reviews, so maybe my expectations were already too high. (pun and no pun intended)

This is an androgynous, Victorian, woodsy smell that's very sexy. My boyfriend, who hates perfume, loves this on me. It's one of a kind.

I have wanted this EDP for a while now and finally got it today - LOVE IT! It's a sexy, deep, warm fragrance. Not like all the fruity, flowery, candy smelling perfumes that are out these days. (and NO it doesn't smell like pot!) Autumn has just begun and I am super excited to rock this fragrance with comfy sweaters and cute boots!!

I've been wearing this for a while now. I loved it at first. I've not really gotten any compliments from it, though and i'm kind of tired of it. I thought it would become my HG but I've lost interest. It's pretty strong and it lasts a long time. It's spicy and a little sweet. It doesn't smell like pot at all!

Yes, yes.... one-thousand times yes to Fresh Cannabis Santal. I found the notes very appealing, and after trying it, it is every bit as delicious as I thought it would be. Very sexy, musky and no "weed" smell. I love it! And, lasting power is phenomenal. 5 lippies! Fresh Cannabis Santal has earned a place in my fall/winter and evening perfume rotation. Advertised Notes: Top: Bergamot, Orange Brazil and Black Plum, Middle: Cannabis Accord, Patchouli and Rose, Base: Chocolate, Sandalwood, Vetiver and Vanilla Musks

I really had high hopes for this product but perhaps my feelings will change. If they do I'll def post an update edit. This, to me, is waaaaaaaaaayyy tooo musky - reminds me of the headache i'd get from Lancome's hypnoise or gucci's scents... ick It smells like musk and baby powder IMO.... I really dont smell any cannabis whatsoever. Overall this is waaaayyy too heavy and musky for me, smells like an elderly lady in my opinion... Glad I only got the sample and didnt splurge on the big bottle
