I bought this last summer and really liked it. It removed my makeup including waterproof mascara really well. I started to use it again recently and it's breaking me out like crazy. I have been getting painful red bumps on places where I generally don't get any acne. I'm quite disappointed since I have at least a third of the product left. I won't be purchasing this again.

I love this product as well. It's dissolved all my makeup (I use Estee Lauder Double Wear) with ease. Love the way my skin looks after I use this cleanser.

i LOVE this stuff. I didn't really research prior to picking this up at Sephora, but after the first time i used it, i was in love. I've gone through 2 bottles of this and it's amazing
- This is an oil-based face cleanser, so you must start with a dry face. All you need is ONE small pump of this and spread onto your skin.
- After washing with warm water, my skin is so soft, it doesn't just remove the makeup but it purifies my face with no irritation at all.
- I still go ahead with my regular face wash after using this.
- 1 bottle lasts me about 3 months.
- I purchased this for $31 CAD, but when I have a chance to go to the US, I grab it for $29 US.
- Don't be afraid to use this oil-based cleanser if you have oily skin. they will cancel eachother out. I have an oily t-zone, and I have had no problems, only positive results.

This is a great cleansing oil. I've used it when my skin was super oily and acne prone (late summer and early fall), super dry and flaky (late fall to early winter) and slightly dry but more or less balanced (now) and it's never broken me out. It takes one full pump to remove completely my skincare stuff, primer, foundation (even Revlon Colorstay!), concealer, powder, blush and bronzer and another half pump to remove eye make (eyeshadow, liner, non-wp mascara), with no smudges left behind in the morning. This stuff isn't cheap ($31CAD for 5 oz/150 ml at Sephora), but I bought mine on August 6, 2012 and I've used it at least 5 times a week since then and I still have maybe an inch of it left in the bottle, so probably enough to last me till the end of February. That'll be almost 7 months! So it works out to just under $4.50/month which is pretty damn cheap! Definite rebuy once I work my way through the other makeup removers in my stash.

This stuff is just bad. Didn't remove any of my eye makeup, and I only wear mascara. I noticed a bunch of little red bumps all over my face after I used it. Overall this was a disaster on my sensitive skin.

This product has nothing on the mac cleanse off oil. It doesn't remove my makeup nearly as well (I wear full coverage, full face, glam makeup at least 2 days a week). The cooling sensation made my skin very upset and red and it did not go away for over 10 hours. Not for me..

I love this product as a makeup remover. It is labelled as a cleanser as well, but I still follow up with my regular cleanser. I mostly use it to remove my foundation but it also works for eye makeup. The oil slides nicely across the skin without any tugging and melts the foundation right off.

It is fairly expensive $26 for 5 oz. at Sephora, but a little goes a long way. I usually only use one pump in the evening. For the results, it is worth the money for me.

I have acne-prone skin and my complexion has gotten clearer since using this, i think because it removes absolutely everything from my skin.

My favorite makeup remover. I use it with warm water and a washcloth. It's great at removing makeup/sunscreen, and I love that there are no preservatives in it. It's not exactly cheap, but it's worth the money for me. MAC's oil makeup remover is good too, but because skin care is Boscia's thing, I will stick with this brand for now. I also follow up with their toner.

My skin can be acne-prone, and if anything, my complexion has gotten clearer since using this at night.

This product worked wonderfully. Squirt two pumps in your hand and massage it into your face and onto your eyes before getting your face wet and it will grab every ounce of makeup off of your face! This product made the makeup removal process a breeze. Unfortunately this product made me break out with cystic acne the next day I used it. If you do not have sensitive skin run to your local Sephora to purchase this!

-I have very sensitive skin that breaks out to most products.

I use MakeUp-BreakUp solely as a make-up remover (this is a dual action product and can also be used as a one step remover and cleanser) and have been nothing but pleased with the results. Most make-up removers on the market are designed to remove eye make-up, not full face, and those designed for the latter often made me break out. I've been using MUBU for well over 6 months and not only has it not led to any breakouts, it's also helped to speed the healing process when a pimple does rise to the surface.

I have combination oily skin and use a long-wearing foundation layered over a BB cream in order to prevent a mid-day make-up slide. Before I began using MUBU, and even with the use of my Clarisonic, I would typically have to wash my face twice to remove all traces but one pump of this product followed by cleansing with my normal facial wash = squeaky clean skin.

Also, don't be afraid of the word "oil" if you, like me, have oily skin. This product does not increase the oiliness and, in fact, it dries my skin, sometimes a little too much (hence the 4 lippies instead of 5).

I've used this to cleanse heavier makeup off of my skin for quite a few years now. Unlike some other oil cleansers I've tried, this one isn't too heavy and rinses clean. And it seems to wash off even hard to remove foundations like Revlon Colorstay. Not only is the formula very light, but it's also very slick and easy to massage into the skin. That means the skin doesn't get tugged around as much. It has a slight mint or eucalyptus type of smell, and maybe a slight tingle when applied. I don't use this on my eye makeup for that reason.

My skin is combination/acne-prone. This doesn't cause breakouts or clogged pores for me. It doesn't leave any oily residue after rinsing either. Sometimes I feel like this stuff might over-dry a little bit if I leave it on for too long. (But that could just be my skin being reactive.)

No complaints about the packaging, though I wish the price was lower. I would probably repurchase when I have a discount.

I bought this to use solely for the purpose of removing my eye makeup (I have never used it on the rest of my face). While it does a great job of removing my mascara and eyeliner, I find that it really irritates my eyes. No matter how hard I try to avoid it, some of the oil always gets in my eyes when I'm removing my eye makeup, which causes my eyes to cloud up and burn for several minutes. On the bright side, a little of this stuff goes a long way, so the bottle has lasted me for close to a year. I definitely will not be repurchasing, though.

Recently I was diagnosed with Floppy Eyelid Syndrome, which coupled with my severely dry eyes means I have to sleep with my eyelids taped shut. Consequently, I have tape residue all over my face in the mornings. Neutrogena cleansing wipes and Cetaphil weren't getting it off, so I thought I'd try a cleansing oil. I picked this Boscia one based on reviews here, and so far I'm very happy with it. This MakeUp-BreakUp oil gets rid of all the tape stickiness and doesn't dry out my combo skin. I wish the cost were a little lower -- this isn't the most expensive cleansing oil out there, but it's not the cheapest either -- however, I will purchase again.

I have used several oil based removers, and this one is a good one but not my favorite. It is neither thick nor thin consistency wise, and it smells nice- sort of minty? but it just doesnt remove my makeup as well as dermalogicas precleanse. If you dont wear a ton of makeup this could be just right for you. Price wise it is cheaper than dermalogica, more expensive than DHC. Ive also used MACs and cliniques TTDO balm.
Be sure to follow the directions and apply it to dry skin- I use two pumps for my face and neck, and gently work it in around the eyes and in circles over my face, then add a bit of water as I go for about 30 seconds. Then I rinse it all off and wash my face with a gel cleanser. This will usually get off a normal amount of makeup but not if I used waterproof or heavy duty eyeliner.
I do have oily, acne-prone skin and this did not break me out whereas the DHC did break me out.
Overall this was decent and I will use until I run out, but would not repurchase.

HG makeup remover for sure! Leaves my combo skin feeling soft and does not leave any residue behind. I use HALF of a pump and massage it into dry skin for about a minute. In the beginning, I was nervous about applying oil to combo skin, but this has never broken me out. I'm on my third bottle and will continue to repurchase.

This is the best makeup remover I've ever used! It seems weird to smear an oil all over your face, but it removes all makeup, including eye makeup. I love that it leaves my skin feeling soft and supple instead of tight like some other makeup removers I've used in the past. The best thing is the formula is very gentle and never causes me to break-out. It's a little pricey, but the bottle lasts FOREVER since you only need one pump to remove an entire face of makeup. I will definitely continue to buy this product!

This was a great cleanser for me it was suggested to me by a friend and I love it the problem is is that you really have to work to get off your makeup with it and it doesn't take off eye makeup but it left my skin feeling amazing and smooth and my oily skin usually doesn't feel that way it is also pretty pricey.

Great cleanser for my combination skin. As my face became more balanced the purifying cleanser was just too much. The Make up Break up removes ALL my makeup but it must be massaged onto dry skin then rinsed off. It goes fast and is expensive though, so I use the clean complexion cleanser when I'm not wearing makeup and in the morning.

Excellent sunscreen and makeup remover. Seems to get every last bit off. (I'm only judging this by appearance, though, as I finish off with a buffing cleanser after using this. Then my face is completely clean.) This is also refreshing and cooling. I love the clean feeling I get after using this, particularly after a humid/smoky day.

It is a bit expensive, but the bottle has lasted a long time. I use it every time I wear makeup (so, about three or four days a week), and after five months, I am only halfway through.
