I have the most oily eyelids and must use eye drops several times a day ,I could never find a eyeliner that wouldn't transfer to the top of my eyelid crease or fade off after applying an eye drop.I decided to buy this and omg am I happy that I did. I did an experiment to see how long it would last and it stayed on without smudging for almost two days then it started to fade. No flaking. It does need to be removed with mu remover because with the use of my cetaphil ...it wouldn't budge. I wish the brush was shorter but the color is very pretty a better alternative to black imo.

This eyeliner is very water proof but removes easily with Loreal waterproof eye makeup remover or Lancome Bifacil. The color payoff is perfect. It is a brush type applicator. It definitely lasts til you take it off. COCO BAR is a medium brown color. Love it!

This is the only eyeliner that does not budge, smudge, smear or fade! I wear contacts and have oily eyelids. I've never had any success with any (cheap or expensive) eyeliners in the past until I came across this. I can rub my eyes an this would not smudge! The trick to removing this is to dip a Q-tip into Ponds cold cream, and gently wipe it off with wiping motion. However, this is not an eyeliner for beginners and you need practice and good steady hands to perfect this product! Anyways LOVE IT and will purchase again!

This is a standard brown eyeliner color. Not black-brown, not reddish brown, but just the typical brown eyeliner color. Which is what I was looking for!. Much has been written about its staying power so I won't reiterate except to say that it really does remove easily with oil, but it lasts perfectly through sleeping, swimming, sweating, crying, etc. You have a while to work with it, I would say a good 5-10 seconds, so it is not as if every time you touch your lids you are stuck with the outcome.

I am a busy hausfrau with active kids and a DH with little patience for female-type activities in the bathroom, and was looking for something semi-permanent because I was actually beginning to consider permanent makeup (I know, yikes) due to never having any peace to do makeup in the mornings. I was tired of trying to carefully line my eyes with kids hanging off my legs, and yes, I am vain enough to want to look put together for school drop offs in the early morning. So for me, to be able to apply this at night and then get up and go in the mornings is convenient. (I only line in the lash line so it is not as if I am sleeping on a full eye! I will update if I notice any adverse effects from this!)

I like to line right in my lash line and the brush is too wide, but if you get the MAC 210 brush, it is a cinch to apply. You can clean your brush easily with oil. The 210 is just perfect for making an ultrathin line: strong enough to hold up to pressure, but feathery and light enough to draw a tiny line. The longer handle and thin design make it easy to hold, which is why I am not taking off a lippie for MAC not having a good brush in the eyeliner itself. IMO there is no way they could sell a good brush for this product integrated into the tube!

To me the price is worth it. Unless you use really, really heavy eyeliner, I don't think you'll ever use up this tube. This is really HG material!

Be still my heart! An eyeliner that is ACTUALLY and TRULY waterproof?? Oh my! I simply adore the MAC liquidlasts because they are the ONLY thing that will stay on my eyes in the pool. Of course, this means that they are an absolute pain to get off but with a little baby oil and a cotton pad it's not a huge issue. I just wish the brush was a little sturdier. I will continue to use this until they stop making it!

Love this incredibly long lasting liner! Like others have mentioned, once it dries it will not budge, which is great in the hot & humid summer we are having here in Cali. I put this beauty on in the morning & I don't have to worry about smudges. You know how you have to check in the mirror to clean away any ugly fallout from liners or mascara? With this eyeliner, I never have to worry, because I check & no smudges at all! This color is really easy to work with too, very basic brown that doesn't look harsh, I have brown eyes/brwn hair & it works great! I will def. repurchase & would def. recommend. Also you can use a smudging brush & dip it on the wand to create a nice lower lash smudged line that will stay put all day.

LOVE this liner! It took some practice to get the application right, but once it's on it stays on FOREVER. Unbelievable wear! It does take a careful hand to apply this rather thick liquid, but I never have to re-apply during the day, and I never have to fret about whether my liner has smudged or flaked off. Cocobar is a great daytime color, and I'm eager to try some of the other shades for night. I can't say enough about this stuff, it is simply incredible!

I'm kinda weird because I'm one of those goth chix with painted on eyebrows (don't hate! I am pro at this). I find the mac liquidlast liners are the last word for this use because nothing else, especially in summer, will stay put on your brow bone all day. The brush tip allows for a neat tapering line easy to create through varying the pressure. The colour is much softer looking than using the point black, so it's good for everyday use (But don't expect it to match the lasting power of point black to the hour. Coco bar doesn't last like point black. NOTHING lasts like point black) I only notice rubbing of at the tips at the very end of the day and touch-ups blend easily although they are not usually needed.

To use this product around my eyes (looks awesome with blue eyes!) I whipe a little on the back of my hand and use an angle brush to apply. Lasts all day.

The only thing I really don't like about this product is that the same ingredients that make it so long lasting on your face cause it to dry up in the tube quickly and become thick and difficult to work with at which point it globs up on the brush. Also it gathers round the neck of the tube into a big plug of unusable product. At least a quarter of the bottle goes to waste every time is what I'm saying. That coupled with the price = major point loss. I just can't stand wasting! But I'm at the mercy of smudge proff eyebrows.

I like to use this particular color Liquidlast Liner for everyday look. I have brown eyes and it stays on all day long. At first it took practice using it because of needing a steady hand. But after a couple of tries and practice, it's no problem now. The best liquid eyeliner that doesn't burn my eyes due to the ingredient. It first was a challenge trying to remove the eyeliner, but I solved that problem by using Neutrogena makeup remover towelettes. It comes off very easily. Now I am using various colors of the Liquidlast Liner!

I really appreciated MAC when these eyeliners came out. I have a big problem with smudging (asian eyes with small crease), so finding a liner that didn't budge was the ultimate find for me. These literally do not move once they dry - you can swim and it won't get affected at all. Some people dont't like that its so hard to remove, but i find with my lancome mu remover, it comes off quite effortlessly. Coco bar is a great matte dark brown for wearing throughout the day. Definately re-purchase.

This product is God sent! It's the best of the best. My holy grail eyeliner for sure. The stay power is awesome. It'll stay on for days without smudging and fading despite showering and bathing and washing your face. It does NOT get dry and flaky. Of course it's a bit of a hassle to take off because it requires a strong oil-based makeup remover. But the staying power outweighs it.

I love it.

I received this in a sample recently and so far I've been impressed. Th;e color is very pretty, its dark enough to substitute for black liner and actually looks better on me (I have dark brown hair and light green eyes) because its less harsh. As pretty much everyone else has said, this has a ridiculous staying power...but I if you can't get it off (or don't even try) eventually it will start to flake off.

I'm not a huge fan of the brush and I can see how over time it can get extremely difficult to work with. For me the brush is totally hit or miss...sometimes it will look amazing and sometimes I can not get a straight line that isn't very thick. I will probably repurchase this and consider trying it in different colors; however I will probably try to get a different brush to use so that I can apply it more smoothly.
EDIT: not really worth it to get a new brush when I could just find a better liner or get gel liners.

Like others have said, the staying power of this liner is like nothing I've ever seen before. It dries quickly after you put it on, and even after you come home and wash your face with cleanser... most of it will still be there -- crazy. I've been using vaseline at night to get this off of my eyes. The downside is that the formula is very thick, and I find it hard to get a smooth line. It will hold onto my lids and I end up with small jagged parts of the line each time. I've been going over this line with eye pencil and then shadow -- so it's not a problem -- but I couldn't use this on it's own as a thin liquid line. The line is too thick -- and not perfect. This is why it won't become HG for me. That said, if you're going to a special event and basically want to be wearing EYELINER for days without having to reapply -- this is the one.

UPDATE: I'm lowering my rating. I don't use this anymore because of the "jagged line" it makes and the super thick consistiency. Who wants liner that stays on forever if it doesn't look good?

I was interested in this product after reading an in depth testing review by one of our MUAers on Blogdorfgoodman's blog. I decided to get this shade because it seemed like a good basic one to try out. WOW! This stuff stands by you better than any man ever will and is longer lasting than any man ever will be in or out of bed. It wears like freaking iron. The first good bit of advice is NOT to use the applicator attached to the cap, get your own favorite lining brush and scrape the product off the wand and apply it. Now you have a minute or two to fix any smudges and then that's it. Once this stuff dries down it is not going anywhere, wind, rain, snow, crying, tearing, watching An Affair to Remember, this will not move!! Which, unfortunately brings us to the down side of this, removal. You will need a trusted eye makeup remover to get this off. I recommend soaking a Q-tip with it and running it along you lash line to get the majority off, when they named this stuff LiquidLAST they weren't joking around at all. It does take some effort to remove. You needn't scrub but you will want to let your eye makeup remove sit a bit before you attempt to wipe it off.
One lippie off for the applicator. Otherwise, this stuff is excellent!!!!!!

Beautiful colour and it looks like dark chocolate. It is very Matte which I was not expecting since the other colours I have had a bit a shimmer to it. I like putting this on first before my eyeshadow so it softens the sharp line a bit.

Ever since I swapped for this one, it's my third LiquidLast, I haven't looked back at other liners. Coco Bar, it is a deep matte brown. It's a great basic to have in any makeup arsenal. I get oily and watery eyes, and I thought gel liners were the best [even though they still smeared, they were better than pencil liners]. These just won't come off, in a good way of course. I can tear up, or anything, and this liner doesn't budge. It will easily come off with Pond's Cold Cream, which I use, and a huge plus. It gets a 4 for the brush for packaging. I can easily use it, and then use a EOB eyeliner brush to smudge it out before it dries. These eyeliners are my HG, and I will buy this again!!

Now some of you may find this a bit odd, but I don't use this primarily as an eye liner. I use this to fill in my super-sparse, oily brows! I use it much like one would use MUFE's Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector (which I've tried, and liquidlast way outperformed this stuff) by using an angled brow brush and dipping it into a TEENSY-TINY bit of l/l (too much and you'll have tattooed lookin brows!). I blot the brush lightly on a tissue and apply short quick strokes to my brows. My brow hairs are black so this looks totally natural, and it lasts ALL DAY smudge-free. And because I don't use it heavily like liner it washes off w/my regular face wash.

Now, as an eyeliner, this seriously is industrial strength! You definitely need to use an oil-based m/u remover to get this off, but I love this for days when I'm planning on being at the beach/swimming. I don't use the built-in brush though b/c it's hard to work with - I dip a different brush into the bristles then apply. This stuff is def. HG for me and I will continue to repurchase!

Went to repurchase MAC's fluidline liner in dipdown but wanted to try this product and ended up purchasing instead. This liner is definitely long lasting and smudge proof. But the goopy-ness of the liner and the shape of the brush make it extremely difficult to apply. It is also quite tacky until it dries completely which takes awhile.

This liner has stayed on longer than any other liner that I've used, but it's not bulletproof. It still comes off after swimming in the ocean (but I'm out for a couple of hours, so this is still a good effort). But I was looking for something that was practically *permanent* (until I used an m/u remover)! I guess my hopes were a little too high. ;P

Like others have said, this liner is much easier to apply with a separate brush than the one that comes with it. I use Paula's Choice liner brush, which works really well. Another tip: while you are applying the liner, make sure to put the original brush back into the container. The liner dries really quickly and if you keep it resting outside, it will become extremely tacky and gooey, and very difficult to apply to your second eye.

One other thing that I didn't really like about this; it kind of burns my eyes. I do wear contacts, but I've never really had a problem with other liners burning my eyes before. I'll wear this on days that I'm going to the beach (very thinly, so smudging is minimal), but for everyday use, I *really* prefer Fluidlines.

I wanted to like this, and I DO love the color, a deep rich brown.. BUT it's gloppy, gooey, and hard to apply evenly with the applicator. It does wear well, but I found it hard to remove and even though I hated to do it, I threw it out after a few uses. I like the MAC cake liner much better.
