This maybe my favorite lip glaze stick of all the colors I own. I agree with the reviewer who described it as similar to Clinique's Black Honey. Like Black Honey it looks dark, almost black purple on the pencil but goes on a sheer dark berry color with a hint of gold sparkle. Fabulous. The staying power is good. And it smells wonderful - exactly like its namesake. This is the first lip glaze stick color I will repurchase when I run out.

Finally - a fabulous alternative to the regular lip glazes which go on too gooey. I just purchased two sticks on beautycrunch.com (only $4.12 each!!) and I loved it. So far I have only tried the blackberry one and I like it so much better than the regular glaze (I was still mourning the demise of an almost brand-new glaze after my dog got a hold of it). This stick last longer, gives a beautiful shine and is a very pretty color. Will try the gingerbread one another day
EDIT: The amount of gloss in the stick is a little ridiculous. I may be have used it 5-6 times and it is at least half gone. It needs to be sharpened after two uses or so and most of it gets shaved off. I love playing with makeup but not to the point of trying to put the shavings in a pot. I actually like small sizes of gloss - gives me an excuse to finish one and try something else but this is really teeny

I love Stila's glaze sticks! They're fun to use, sheer-yet-buildable, and wear very comfortably on the lips. There is a little glitter, yes, but I don't find it chunky or excessive at all. A twist-up form might have been more convenient than traditional pencil, but I can forgive it that.
I absolutely adore Blackberry. As has been said, it's very much like Clinique's Black Honey; it makes your lips look lusciously jam-stained. Even better, it wears very, very well, and it leaves a perfect, sexy MLBB stain that lasts for ages. I'm seriously stocking up on this.

I agree with MsTracy that it reminds me of Clinique Black Honey, though it doesn't turn fuschia on me. When I got this a few years ago, I wasn't impressed for some reason and tucked it away. I got it back out and I'm loving it. It's pigmented so it can be blotted to a nice stain. There are chunks of visible glitter however if that bothers you as a look, but it's not gritty on my lips at all. It doesn't seem drying either. There is a fruity smell/taste that fades fast.

3/31/09 -- Update: I do believe this has been discontinued. Nooooooo!!! It's not on Sephora.com or instore. So I bought 6 at beautycrunch.com last sale.
This could be the next Clinique Black Honey if enough people knew about it.
I love this stuff. Stila's regular Lip Glaze that you have to click up is such a pain. And it's so sticky. This is neither. It's a pencil and is not sticky at all. It goes on smooth.
I really like this BlackBerry shade on me. And it's (only) $16 or $17. Fairly reasonable compared to most of the other glosses at Sephora.
I did have trouble finding this at my Sephora. They just had the Lip Glaze Sticks mixed in with the regular ones. And they had none on display. I hope that doesn't mean they are getting rid of them or something....

For those of you who love Stila's lip glazes but hate the click pen packaging, these lip glaze sticks are the answer to your woes. Essentially a lip glaze in a pencil format, this goes on smoothly without the goopiness of a lip gloss and the staying power is much better too. Blackberry is a really flattering dark berry shade on my fair skin - not overpowering at all. The only downside with the pencil packaging is that when you sharpen it you lose a lot of precious product. The shavings that come off separate the gloss from the outside of the pencil, so I just put those in a lip palette to apply with a brush so I don't have any wastage. This is my first Stila lip glaze stick and I'll be back for more!

Stila gets this right. Goes on in a quick swipe, has the look of a sheer lippie, with no dryness and none of the goopiness of a gloss either. Also, I would wear this at work because it doesn't scream "wet lips." The color will go with most blushes, it's so portable that I plan on carrying it in my bag at all times. Oh, and finally a lip product for only $15.

Love, love, love this stuff. So easy to apply, so great to wear, not sticky. Had to buy a fairly dark version of this to get the color I wanted - goes on very sheer - but totally happy with the results. A winner.
