I have to say, I am really liking this stuff! Maybe because I wasn't expecting too much, but there are some definite "pros" about it that I like: (1) the smell - as others mentioned, Glow and Steady does not have the usual "burnt rubber" smell typical of self-tanners. I didn't get the same lovely grapefruit smell that others got from it, the biggest thing it smells like to me is-- bug spray. Which could be a pluspoint if you're planning to go camping - it smells very much like Skin So Soft or a mosquito repellant. But hey, it DOESN'T smell like burnt rubber - which is great!! (2) it absorbs into the skin very quickly and leaves it dry and soft (unless you overapply). (3) the tan it gives (so far) has been natural and not-orange. I am on my 4th application now in 5 days. It is true as others have noted that it doesn't brown up very quick. However, I do have some nice color, and would rather have a product that builds gradually and is natural-looking, than one that browns up quickly but is orangey. And as a side note, if you are ever in Laughlin, NV, they have a Bath & Body Works Outlet there where I picked this up for half-price :)

After daily application, I did notice a little color on my legs and arms, but nothing that went beyond that basic color, even with continuous application. The smell wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't terrible either. I would apply this at night because I didn't want to wait forever in the morning for it to dry completely. It would take a few minutes for it to absorb, and I didn't want to risk it staining my clothes.

If you are only looking for a tiny bit of color, this is for you. I used it every day for a week before I saw any difference, and then it was very little. The scent is nice -- it's more subtle than that of the Victoria's Secret self-tanner/moisturizer. It moisturizes well and I like that it contains sunscreen, but I need something that delivers a bit more color, so I won't repurchase.

I purchased this for half price during the sale ($7.50 instead of the regular price of $15). It smells decent, like others have noted. It's very thick and creamy and moisturizes well, but when using it on my face I need to use a clean & clear strip afterwards to get the shine off (also a bit sticky when hot & humid out). On me it took a full week of daily use to notice a color change, maybe about 2 shades darker, with a couple of uneven spots around my knees and inner arm. Overall, it did the job and I would repurchase if on sale, not for the full price.

I love the smell of this stuff. A very beachy tiare with barely a hint of the usual DHA nastiness. I love the cafe au lait color of the lotion, that its not too thin or too thick, that it soaks in pretty fast (10 min or so), doesn't turn my clothes orange, and doesn't streak at all, no matter how sloppy I am with rubbing it in. The only thing I don't like and why I won't buy again is it leaves me with a definite yellow-orange cast. Its not totally obvious, but there is a hint of orange I can't stand. Almost golden, but not quite. Its so subtle I didn't really notice until I wore white shorts one day, and in the sun, my skin against the white had this WRONG color to it. My normal un-tanned skin is a medium yellow based beige, so maybe the already yellow undercast just doesn't blend. So sad...it smells soooooo good...

I love the smell of this product. It smells like sunscreen and I only detected a hint of the DHA after an hour or so after application. This lotion goes on smooth but does not dry as quickly as I would like. It seems to leave almost a film on my skin and to be honest, that will prevent me from purchasing it again as during the Summer, that film will probably make me extremely uncomfortable. Also, the color was too yellow for my liking. I normally don't get that kind of result with my gradual tanners.

This is the first time I have actually tried a self tanner and I was very impressed. I am very pale, so I decided to go with a gradual tanner. After about 3 days I had some nice color, it didn't look fake at all.

Not very effective as a lotion as I have scaly legs. But as a gradual tanner I like it a lot. I see it works better on my fair skinned friend than it does one me (I am asian w/ medium yellow skin). I actually tan very easily, but my legs can get freaskishly white from being in pants all year round. So I use this on my legs only.

This is the only self tanner I've used that doesn't have any hint of that foul self tanner smell. It actually smells very nice, although I can't really pinpoint what the scent is. I love it because it works as a self tanner, lotion, and sunblock.

I love this lotion!!! it goes on very even (wash ur hands after using!) and smells delicous....like lemon cookies and flowers. after ambout two day of using my skin look noticably bronzer, and now, 5 day later i look perfectly tan! no splotches, missed spots, orange palms, unpleasant fragrance, or streaky orange color! and on top of all this is has sunblock in it! i am very impressed and will definitley repurchase!

Like alot of reviewers, I had a coupon for this. I already have something of a tan on my arms and a bit on my legs, so the full-on tan showed up only after 2 days. I use it on my arms, legs, and feet, so the rest of me is kind of pale... It looks a little funny, so I don't know what I'll do in the next few weeks when its time to go to the pool...
I would probably buy this again, but I think Jergens has something similar which is only like $3-4, right?
I also don't know about the uneven tanning... But you get that from any self-tanner if you don't apply it all over your body, so that really has nothing to do with this specifically...
All in all, this is a great product if you're looking for a gradual self-tanner (with sunscreen).

I had a coupon for this from Bath and Body Works...it was a 'buy something for $10 and get anything under $15 free from this line' thing. So far I've only used this product for about 2 weeks. I use it mainly on my legs, arms, feet, and stomach area. I don't think I'm applying it evenly because some parts of me look really tanned and other parts look lighter. I even look sort of orange. A lot of my friends were asking me if I'd gotten airbrushed or gone to the beach or something. Overall I would have to say that using this has really made me at least 1 or 2 shades darker. I think I'd buy this again but only if I have a coupon

I got this because I had a coupon for a free True Blue Spa Product. I LOVE the fact that it's a gradual self-tanner and a sunscreen in one! Genius, right? I think so:) I has an uplifting citrus scent. I smell mostly orange and a touch of grapefruit. I use this whenever I'm leaving the house (which isn't too much) so I don't get too much of a tan from it. I see a bit of color after using this once, but as the other reviews said, not much. Although, with Summer coming I see myself going outside more and I won't step foot out of the house w/o sunscreen. I only use it on my arms because I'm paranoid that it would break out my chest/decollete area. If you're wanting a fast tan, this isn't the product for you. I think it's intended for daily use and here's why: if it was a stronger self-tanner and was used everyday, can you imagine how dark you would get? LOL:) I also think they do that so we will use it constantly. I wouldn't repurchase this for retail ($15), only if I had a coupon. Lucky for me, I rarely run out of B&BW coupons:)

I love this self tanner! My Sister in law got me the gift pack for my birthday...it had the Glow and Steady, the spray shimmer, and a roll on scent. I had previously used the 24-7 Gradual tanner, but I like this one a lot better. I really like the scent of it, and it has a more noticable color than the other one. It's $15 for a tube, which isn't too bad, but it's a little more spendy than the drugstore brands.

This is a good daily self tanner/moisturizer. I did not notice the gross self tanner smell that many others have and the scent of the lotion itself is good, as well (lightly fruity). It has a SPF 15, which is great and it's moisturizing. I noticed a little color the next day, not alot- which I guess is the point. I would buy again just due to the fact that this does not stink- so many others I have tried have a strong odor.
