This is such a compact slim palette and contains almost everything i need for travelling. The 3 cream highlighters are soft and silky to apply and though it is cream formula it is not oily and last well. The rose colour highlighter replaces blusher as it gives a nice flush to the skin. The eye colours go perfectly together as base (dew) and contour (topaz) and gives a sophisticated and complete the look. The bronzer is not really my cup of tea as it is like a matte pressed powder but i love the shimmery powder Glided as it positively makes the skin look so radiant. Just hit it onto areas like the cheekbones and bridge of nose. The glosses are not as dark as it looks in pan goes on sheer and you can layer them accordingly.

I really love this product. It's great year round in FL, since it's a sunny look. I've used the highlighters as lippy, and they work as long as you use a gloss over them. I really like the fact that I can toss this, a small mascara and a concealer stick in my briefcase and I'm set.

Oh my...this is beautiful. I've avoided palettes because I usually don't like most of the colors within. Laura Mercier's Bronzing Books are a must-have. There are two --- "Gilded" and "Bronzed". I chose "Gilded" which has lighter colors in comparison. Within the mirrored magnetized compact are two sheer lipcolors (bronze + brick red), two powder eyeshadows (shimmer greyish taupe + shimmer light grey/white), three cream highlighters (gold + pink + honey brown), a powder blush/highlighter (light flesh pink), and a light powder bronzer. The colors all go very well together and are versatile and very flattering. I find they'll work on most skintones except for very dark. I love everything about this palette. (UPDATE: 03/09/07)--I lowered my lippie rating a bit because I found that the bronzing powders break me out - especially if I brush them anywhere near my cheeks or forehead. It took a lot of trial and error to figure out what was clogging my pores, and I've finally narrowed it down to this.

I love this palette. I'm not such a fan of the cream hihlighters, I find them a bit hard to use, but everything else is fantastic. The shadows are gorgeous - a light shimmery pink and a grey/taupe color that go on smoothly and blend fabulously. The lipglosses are equally fantastic - a shimmery golden color and a warm reddish color. The have great textures too - not sticky at all and very moisturizing. The bronzer is a bit light but is good for some light contouring and the blush makes a great highlighter. Even though I don't use everything in this palette, the things I do use make this more than worth my money because they are such great colors and such high quality. I use this palette all the time and highly reccomend it.

i love this palette. you can do a whole face with it, it's compact, versatile and great quality (the packaging could be better, i'm tired of those cardboard matchbook style palettes)

2 lipsticks, 3 cream hi-liters, 2 face powders and 2 eyeshadows: all colours are completely wearable. great!

This is my first-ever palette. I think it's a very good palette coz I can wear everything in it. Usually, in palette, there'll be something you're not gonna touch, but not with this one. Like some said, the color looks plain but turn up beautifully. I've never ben into anything bronze and tan but this looks so natural and beautiful. A+++

I really loved this set. I am very pale and it gives me a subtle bronze look without being very shimmery (I avoid very shimmery because I already have shiney oily skin). The lipsticks are very comfortable, however, I wish they lasted longer. If I could change one thing I'd add a cake eyeliner to the palette, but it is still complete (you can create your entire face with this).

Overall, a great product well worth the money!

This is my favorite new palette. All the colors are shimmery without being too much. And I absolutely LOVE the Burnt Red lip color. I'm a PPP and these are the perfect sun-kissed colors for me.

Overall this is a very nice palette. Perfect for PPP. At first glance the colors did not wow me at all, but when applied I would say that it is well worth the money. The shades/products are as follows:
Gilded (golden apricot shimmer) and Matte Bronze Light Bronzing Powders (light matte bronze) I love using these together, the Matte Bronze as a blush and the Gilded as a highlighter. Golden Glow (soft gold sheen), Rose Glow (pinky-rose sheen) and Honey Glow (bronze sheen) Illuminators, these are really pretty and look great on, my favorite is using the Golden Glow as the crease color for eyeshadows. I dotted Honey Glow on the inside corners of my eyes and it made my boring brown eyes come alive.
Dew (beige sheen) and Topaz (pink bronze taupe) Eye Colors, Topaz is a beautiful color that is perfect for my coloring PPP, I don't find it pink bronze at all, just a nice bronzey taupe. Dew is the perfect partner.
Golden Gleam (bronze) and Baked Earth (burnt red) Lip Colors, I usually don't like dark colors but Baked Earth brightened up the whole look of my face, I added Golden Gleam just in the center for a pop.

I love this palette. All the colors go on naturally to give an effortless summer look. The only problem is that I do not have a small brush set so I have to use my long stem brushes with them, not exactly travel friendly. I need to go invest in the BB minibrush set that many recommended. But besides the bronzers, I can apply everything with my fingertips so as long as I'm set in the morning, I can still throw the book into my purse and use it throughout the day if needed for touchups. Definitely recommend this.

Just like the first reviewer, I use my BB mini set with this palette. I am PPP. I like the paleness of the bronzers and the lack of glitter (a little shimmer with one of them). I like the eye shadows ( topaz-a staple for me) and a new shade "Dew" which is a pearly color. I like the two lip glosses. The three highlighter creams are nice also. Plan to take this on a cruise as my only colors. Cute little magnetic book.

I chose this version over the darker version (bronzed).
I like the way it gives me a natural, polished summer look. The colors are very subtle, not at all garish. I can just throw this in my purse and go for the weekend. I use my bobbi brown mini brush set and am happy with the results. I'm nw20, highlighted brown hair and green eyes.
