Amazing product. I generally do not like the scent of berries in face creams or lotions but this cream is an exception. Divine perfume!
The jar looks very vintage chic and the cream is slightly thick - can guess it has a lot of beeswax. Ingredient list is longer than expected for a natural product but do not see any parabens or harmful chemicals in the list.
So glad there is an alternative to Burt's Bees. Hope this company does not get acquired by one of those 'giant' companies that mess up the original formulas.
Cream is very expensive for the quantity, but I am on the lookout for coupons.
I wonder if this can be used as a face cream? If anyone has any inputs on this, let me know.
Update 8/2 : no, this does not work as a face moisturizer. Awful, in fact. Also the product gets rancid....smells like rotting coconut meat. Removing one lippie for these reasons.

Generally, I do not like products that smell like food or fruit, but I absolutely love this stuff. I love the smell- admittedly it's not for everyone. It's very thick and creamy. I love the way it keeps my skin soft and silky. Though the packaging is pretty, I don't like that I have to scoop the lotion out with my fingers.

My Mom happened to buy this and liked it, so I decided to pick some up. I have an 18 month old who had developed bumps all over his skin. I wasn't sure it it was eczema or an allergic reaction! He was getting very dry so I started using this cream on him, and the bumps DISAPPEARED! Within 2 uses! I don't know if it's the fact that this cream contains no mineral oil, which was an ingredient in the lotion I had been using on him, or what- but it worked! I don't like the jar; it's heavy and breakable and the cream is very thick and I don't like scooping it out! But it has worked wonders on my baby's skin! On my skin it does okay- feels very moisturizing at first, but sort of fades quickly IMO. I always want to reapply! Smells like tart blackberries- which I like!

I cannot get past the smell. I do not like this at all. Back to the store it goes. Sad because the packaging is very elegant.

I had high hopes for this line. I was looking forward to purchasing this product but alas, the smell. It smells like blackberries. Not something I want to smell like. I really wish this was unscented. It seemed like a nice cream if you like the scent of blackberries you should try this.

At first I thought just another body butter they came out with. After a couple of times of trying it in the store and one of the S/A gave me a little sample I bought it. The texture is thick, the smell is o.k., but my dry chapped hands have become less dry and chapped of course from not one day to another. I've been using it now for 6 weeks. It comes in glass jar with three little bees inprinted in the front. It 6.7 oz for $22 US dollars. When you have dry hands like me I'll go to any extent to keep them soft. It works even better I think when I put my gel gloves on.
