If you are looking for a crisp, natural, exhilarating mint fragrance, then Fresh Mint is for you. I bought a half tumbler to put in the kitchen & I light it after dinner. This scent is strong and the throw is great, but it is neither sweet nor cloying. I'm not convinced that Fresh Mint would work for the living room or bedroom, but that depends on personal taste, I suppose. The scent mimics a handful of fresh mint you've just pulled from the garden. Refreshing!

If I could have only one room fragrance, this would be it. Straightforward mint. It's so perfect I don't even know how to describe it. Fresh, clean, zesty.

I have this in a tart. The packaging needs scissors to cut open and then wax crumbles do sprinkle out and may even get on your hands. It's not as mess free as etailer tart cups so that's a definite minus. However, I have burned this tart with one tealight each day for 5 days so far and it's still going strong. It'll probably make it a week which is pretty amazing in my experience.

I love all things mint. The smell instantly makes me feel more alert and revived. I got this in tart form, and it is really strong herbal mint. I always have to blow the candle out halfway through the 1st burn on a tart because of how strong they are though. (gives me a headache!) I like the reviewers idea below of burning this in the bathroom. It would be nice if you were sick too, not quite like Vicks, but refreshing nonetheless :)

This really is a perfect fresh mint scent- it smells just like a mint plant in a garden. This is not a processed mint scent, it's a fresh garden mint. I wish Yankee still made bath products because I'd love to have this in a shower gel, but for now, I'll just enjoy it in candle form.

I like stronger tarts and I like mint. This is mint like the herb, not mint like Orbit gum. Fabulous!!!

Great candle to burn in the bathroom. It's strong, and IMO mint is just a strange scent to have in one's living room or bedroom. Wouldn't work for me in a kitchen really, so bathroom is where it goes. Sweet and fresh!

I LOOOOVE this candle! It smells so fresh and spring-like! I thought it might be overpowering, but it's not at all. It just smells like garden-grown mint leaves! As with any Yankee candle I've had, I get some soot build up around the top, no matter what I do, so the candle doesn't LOOK very nice, but I'm willing to put up with it.

I picked this up in tart form this weekend. This has to be one of YC's strongest tarts! Smells exactly like fresh mint leaves. I burned it downstairs and could smell it in the upstairs of my house too. A very clean and refreshing scent. Would repurchase.

A few years ago my mom bought me a mint partylite candle that I LOVED. So last week at BB&B I saw that Yankee Candles has a mint candle, I bought the tart, put it in my warmer and I officially love the smell!!! It smells like fresh mint leaves and makes my living room smell awesome.

Mmmmm. This really does smell like mint, leaves and all. If you're looking for a peppermint candy smell, look elsewhere, but for those wanting the scent of the herb, this will be right up your alley. I do occasionally get a whiff of a tomato plant in there, but that might just be me. Most people I've asked or talked to say that all they get is mint. Anyway, I'd repurchase as a small candle or a tart.
