Wish I had consulted MUA before buying this, but I just bought a mini size for the gym. Doesn't help my skin, but it doesn't hurt it either. The cap broke.

Another disappointing product from TBS Tea Tree OIl line. I really wanted this to work for my oily, acne-prone skin but unfortunately this face wash doesn't work for me. Although it did a great job of making my pores look less visible, after a week of using it I started to get several large painful lumps under my chin and forehead. I think this is because this product is too irritating for me - it can also be quite drying if you don't dilute it before applying ( i.e. apply product into hands, lather together, submerge one hand into water before lathering together again and then applying)

This does cleanse well and is refreshing. Even at full price ($13 CAD) you do get a lot of product and is a great value, especially on sale. However, I do find this a bit drying for my skin type and I ended up switching to the seaweed line. I do have about 80% of the bottle left though and will probably use it on days I need a deep cleanse and on my body when my tea tree body wash runs out.

I had a mini version of this cleanser and really liked it for a while, so I eventually bought the bigger version. That was a total waste of money in my opinion because it takes forever to finish up this cleanser even if I'm using it every single day, and it stopped working for me after a few weeks.
Usually when I wash my face it feels like it's getting a good, deep clean but this cleanser feels like it is doing nothing. It does not foam up or deep clean, it kind of just sits on top of the skin, not cleaning my pores and such. Don't know why this cleanser seemed to be working for me and then all of a sudden stopped but it was upsetting to see it stop working right after I bought a full size. It's not a bad product but there are cleansers out there that do much more for my skin.

I thought this was a bit "meh" since I kind of live by tea tree face washes and I thought I'd change it up and try this one instead.Personally I thought this face wash was too gentle and didn't leave a fresh tingling feeling that one would expect...I ended up putting some tree tree oil in the product to give it some pizazz and help combat my never ending struggle with acne. This face wash will do NOTHING for those who suffer with problematic skin as it's too weak to be effective.

I hate the whole tea tree range from body shop.
I have combined skin & prone to break outs. So I thought these products would help.

That was not the case, they all irritated my skin and made my break outs even worse. I also hated the smell, it's not the nice tea tree smell, it smells kind of off

This product was okay, it did keep my skin acne free and is a very deep cleanser. Although it did make my skin dry and for that reason i would not buy it again.

I've been buying this product for four years (at least). I used to have oily skin, so it was recommended by the salesperson when I said that. My face isn't that oily anymore but this face wash still does its job without drying my skin.
It's very cleansing and it became a habit for me to use it every morning. I also use it after cleaning my make up as a final touch. And I must say, it smells great if you like that fresh scent.
I bought it for my boyfriend too - who has oily skin and some acne problems- and he's very satisfied with it too.

This face wash really helped clear up my skin. Since I have normal skin, it can be a tad drying, so I only use this face wash at night and a different one in the morning.

I love most body shop tea tree products or oily skinned items but this is not a definite keeper for me. I found that I had to use a makeup remover before, (sometimes) after this and that is before I used the tea tea toner too (which btw is wonderful, a definite recommendation to you with oily or acne prone skin, removes all last traces of dirt or makeup excellently). But I don't like having to use several products just to be sure my makeup is removed completely including wash, toner, makeup remover, soap, etc. Other cleansers have done a far better job of removing the makeup perhaps by latherering better. This is extremely hard to lather well on ones face and recomoved next to no makeup on me. Still a very nice product, smells nice, gentle and from the tree tree range which has excellent toners and good face creams. and I would probably reccomend this to those with more sensitive skin.
