Lets be honest - I bought this because I Love the name!
It is from the Princess Charming (soft shades) collection 2007
I have some others from this collection (Princesses Rule, Who needs a Prince and My Daddy is the King) I love all of those but this one is just OK.
It is very sheer - I cannot see how this can be worn alone without serious visible nail line!
I have only worn it over OPI Funny Bunny (which is a pale white) It provided an ivory pearl like top coat that glinted pink and pale green in the sunlight.
Very pretty and appropriate for a bride but not a WOW- for this reason I give it a 3

I absolutely love this polish because of the sheer quality it has. It seems to put some people off, but one coat of I'm a Princess, You're Not over a french tip is the way to go. It's a bit more interesting than your basic clear coat, but doesn't overwhelm a french manicure. Would definitely repurchase and recommend this polish.

I'm A Princess, You're Not has the BEST name for a nail polish ever! (: It is a very sheer, pearlised polish which is white/silver and shimmery in colour but flashes pink, green and purple when it catches the light. The application is smooth and easy and since the colour is so sheer, it is not noticeable if the colour chips! I highly recommend this colour if someone once a subtle/natural colour with a bit of oomph. I purchased this for $20AUD at David Jones.

This is such a pretty, subtle polish. I love to wear this when I want to add a little something to my nails without adding a lot of colour - just a subtle pop of "something". On me, it is a gold-ish pinky colour and is always changing depending on how the light hits the nails. I apply 3 coats when I use this polish and I absolutely love the sheen it gives my nails. Staying power is excellent, it takes several days before I start seeing chips, and even then you don't even really notice. I'd re-purchase this again and again!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Dry, Fair Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
Lovely unique colour, looks really pretty on well groomed fingers. Sadly when trying this my nails were slightly discoloured from a previous polish which made a huge difference to the colour. Also due to the nature of this colour, it is pretty difficult to spot minor chips / tip wear, which is great!

This doesn't look that great in the bottle, but it's really pretty once applied. In the bottle, it looks like a glowy ivory/nude color, but it has a pretty pink iridescence once on your naills. So overall I would describe it as a glowy sheer ivory with subtle pink iridescence. If you like colors like OPI's Cloud 9 or Rosy Future, you'd probably like this too. I'm a Princess You're Not is from the 2006 OPI Princess Charming Soft Shades collection.

Lovely shimmery beigy pink colour for my nails! Easy to apply with a streakfree finish!
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
This is a beautiful sheer/slight pink shimmer color. It's more neutral-grey/taupe, but you don't really get that on your nails unless you do 3 or more coats. If you do 1-2 coats, you see essentially a super sheer grey with pink shimmer frost. It is absoultely beautiful. Easy application with pro wide brush. I love OPI's in general and this did not disappoint.

This color is a really pretty, very sheer beige/champagne-ish color with flashes of pink, and hints of purple and green. It's very pearly and sparkly and absolutely lovely. The application is amazing! I always have trouble painting my own nails and mess them up all the time, and I find this polish very easy to apply, and dries fairly quickly. I only put on one coat, I haven't tried two, but it's quite lovely with just a base coat, and top coat over and under it. Don't think I'd repurchace, but definitely pretty.

I'm a Princess, You're Not is from the Princess Charming collection. This is a semi-sheer white pearl with a pink sheen and sparse, fine shimmers. The bottle comes with the cutest diamonte flower attatched.
This colour is just so pretty. Three coats gave me a subtle, pearly nail that was a better alternative to normal nudes. I could see myself using this for a pearly french mani or layering it over other colours to create multi-layered effect. I ordered this without trying it first and I could not be happier!
I will definately purchase this colour again when it runs out. (if i ever manage to finish an OPI np).

This is one of my neutral faves. It flashes from green to pink to taupe and is soooo versatile as it looks good with pretty much everything I wear. (And it's still fun too!)

I didn't want to like this polish.
I have too many and am trying to downsize so I put this on thinking "I am not a sheer fan, I will humor it for a day or two and off to swap it goes." Well, I love it. Interesting pinkish gleam/glow with a ivory shimmer base. My nails look slick almost oily, but in a good way. I love the way it looks in the bottle too. In the sunlight I just see a pale ivory, the pink glow is best in artifical lighting.
So, this one stays I guess!

I saw this at my manicurist's and I just HAD to have this color. It is a very sheer, subtle pink with a lot of silvery shimmers. Two coats look gorgeous on just done nails, it's a sheer, girly shade but a wow shade, it sparkles in the sunlight. Awesome color that would make a great French manicure with only one coat. Great!

A pretty silvery pearl-it's nice for this time of year, as it looks like a holiday color. Sometimes, I do feel it's a bit immature looking, almost metallic-like. I'll keep it around, but it's not something I see myself reaching for often. It attracts attention.

any polishes that you looked at and thought "dear G*D, I'd never wear that?" for me, IaP, YN is it. in my mall lighting, it looked like a dingy dishwater oil slick.. My nails have enough trouble looking clean so I almost flinched when I so this. and to top it off, the names in the princess collection make me want to hurl. I don't do princess........but last night at Ulta, magic happened.
Like in all the disney movies, where the little woodland creatures help the princess get her chores done- soft doe nuzzled me closer to the Princess display while a little blue bird chirped "buy this, buy this" .....
OK, not really. but somehow I came home with this polish. With a coat of my trust CC milk base to keep the dingy look at bay, I applied this polish and it was beautiful. sheer champagne pearl in some light, beautiful sea-shell pink gleams in another. I can see this have a few looks depending on the number of coats, all very office-friendly yet pretty.

this is part of the (kinda) new princess collection....which i adore. this shade is a very sheer irridesant pearl color. it looks wonderfull with two coats alone or can add depth when applied over other colors!
Age: 36-43 Skin: Sensitive, Fair Hair: Brunette Eyes: Blue
This polish is a sheer, iridescent pearly pink. There's quite a bit of shimmer which I hadn't noticed until I was in the sunshine. I have had problems with shimmery sheer colors like this in the past (they always seem to bubble up) but this one went on perfectly. I didn't think I was going to be impressed with this color but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a very unique, subtle color that I would definately repurchase.

Sheer pearl with a pinkish irridescence. On its own is very subtle and the closest thing to a "nude" nail I will wear; also makes a luscious top coat. Nice and long lasting. Not as "little girly" as the name would apply - but hey, the name's great, it made me laugh and I wouldn't change it. Packed with a cute little diamonte flower on the bottle, too, very good fun.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
This is basically a clear sheen type of polish. I could see it doing well as a top coat. It doesn't have microgliter, like some others in the Princess collection. It sort of reminds me of the type of shine that Mac's porcelain pink MSF gave me, but in polish form - that sort of pink iridessence. I don't think this is that special of a polish, but you won't go wrong buying it either. A "nice to have".

This color was exactly what I was looking for. I love sheer colors for my nails, especially if they are long.
