Great body lotion. It's very light and gets into the skin right away. I use it on my face also and I haven't had any breakouts. I am not a big fan of the smell though, so I don't think I will buy it again :(

i didnt gave 5 stars because of mineral oil it has in it..and the maple sap is one of the last on the list of ingridients but however is really nice..very silky and not oily..it sinks imediatley in the skin without leaving any residue and ive used it for 3 days (once a day)and my skin was incredibly dry with eczema patches and now is soft and nice. Also, the smell is not strong..subtle and nice.Is the best for winter and i see myself using for summer too

I've tried practically all the body moisturisers available in Boots (e.g. Vaseline, Dove, Johnson's, Neutrogena, Jergen's, Soap and Glory, The Sanctuary, St. Ive's) and this is definitely my number 1 daily moisturiser. My skin tends to be dry; nothing too horrendous or problematic but I do find I need to moisturise every day. This moisturises fantastically well for a lotion (only a body butter/oil could do better IMO). It even does a reasonable job on areas that usually need extra help like elbows and heels. It's also incredibly spreadable and sinks in very quickly.

It smells a little too sweet for my taste but this fades pretty quickly and it doesn't interfere with my perfume. The smell is nowhere near as strong as Garnier Hydalock.

It's a great price for the quality of the product and with offers I find I can get it for approx €5 for 400ml.

Packaging is functional: typical Garnier bright red plastic with a small flip cap.

Overall, highly recommended!

This is specific to the Garnier Body Intensive 7 days for dry skin. I have a nasty serious dry skin build up problem. I bought this and applied it to the affected areas when I got home and showered an hour or two later. IT ALL CAME OFF. SO pleased with this product. I feel SO soft after using it and it leaves my skin so soft. Smells good too! DEFINITE MUST HAVE.

If you are looking for a lotion that absorbs really quickly, you should try some of this. When I first tried this I thought, no way is this going to do anything... because it was thin and seemed to disappear into the skin so quickly. But it is actually very good! It definitely hydrates and soothes dry skin. I can't comment on how this goes for SUPER dry skin but it does very well for me. I love to use this after shaving my legs. I can dress straight after applying it too which is a plus. I hate that sticky feel you get from some lotions... And you know how with some lotions, you have to rub and rub to get rid of that white cream on top of your skin? You won't experience that with this Garnier lotion. I love the subtle sweet fragrance in this. It's just gorgeous. It's obviously a nod to the main ingredient - Maple Sap. Highly recommended.

i love this body moisturizer. i have really dry and often flaky skin after showering so i'ts very important that i use a cream.
this garnier bodyrepair is the best drugstore cream i have found so far! it's very thick and moisturizing but does not leave a greasy feeling at all. it also sink in very fast and the scent is really nice and not too heavy. i will definitely repurchase this product once i finished the bottle. highly recommended for sensitive and dry skin!

Decent product!
This lotion moisturizes really well compared to other products in the price range. It didn't have that "omg this makes my skin feel totally different" effect I was hoping for though. I like it as a basic body lotion, but last winter which was ridiculously cold, it just didn't have a chance. And it doesn't keep its' promise of moisturizing for 24 hours.
The smell is okay, nothing exciting, nothing annoying.
Of course the price is awesome and I will probably repurchase it for everyday use in the spring time now, since it does a good job leaving the skin feel refreshed and tight (in the good way).

Got this as it seemed to have some pretty decent reviews, and I've used the firming one before which I found good. I was pleasantly surprised to see it at NZ$3.50 a bottle on special at the supermarket (it's normally between NZ$10 and NZ$15).
It moisturises quite well, sinks in pretty fast, and a little goes a long way. I'm about halfway through a bottle that I bought a couple of months ago, and that's using it twice a day, on legs and arms (and underarms after shaving). Great for post-shaving on the ol' legs as it doesn't irritate and gets rid of that awful dino-skin you can get from soap.
My only slight problem with it would be the lid - it's probably great for travel as it doesn't come open, but it's also exceedingly hard to open when you actually want to use it! I don't think this is due to the new bottle design as I'm pretty sure the cap is the same. But that's not really a big deal.
Smells nice, unoffensive, not strong.
I've used much more expensive moisturisers which were less effective. This is a great staple for winter.

Excellent body lotion.
I do not have dry skin but I like to use it because it provides, in my case, maximum hydration. This is not my everyday body lotion; I use Vaseline most of the time (because I think it's waaaaay better), Olivina, Korres, etc but for time to time I come back to this one, especially during fall/winter months when my skin needs a little more. And that "little more" it's called Garnier Body Repair. Another plus: the price! It is definitely a bargain.

excellent lotion. I have really really dry skin and tried everything, but so far this is the best. It got rid of my red, rough dry patches. Excellent.

Amazing!! Moisturizes way better than some much heavier lotions, and it absorbs in a second - awesome for summer, especially in this nasty humid heat where I live!Too bad I can't buy it here, but it lasts for quite a bit so I get friends to bring it everytime they travel:)

My skin is very dry in winter. I have tried a number of body lotion over the yers but this body lotion is just fantastic! Non greasy, non sticky and it gets absorbed quickly as well. Very well priced as well. I use it every day and the bottle lasts ages! Will definitely buy it again.

Fantastic lotion. It is lightweight in texture, very easily absorbed yet moisturises so well. It has a subtle sweet fragrance (I personally love it) - it disappears and shouldn't clash with your perfume. I use this at night time for arms, hands, feet and legs but if you prefer to use it in the mornings, I think you would be able to dress straight away because it absorbs quite quickly. It contains Canadian Maple Sap - I did not realise how soothing this ingredient is...it really does seem to make a difference. My feet were not terrible before this lotion - just dry and rough. If I use this every night, my heels are a lot smoother and softer and I don't need to use my foot file as often. My hands are also softer and cuticles are in better condition. The packaging is good - a bright red squeezy bottle with a very secure-fitting flip top cap. I doubt that cap would come off by accident! I highly recommend this lotion and will be buying it again.

Garnier bodyrepair 400ml for very dry skin.
This is a delicious body lotion and I am not really into body lotion. I am looking to see if this is available in the USA, and I do not think it is. Another fantastic Garnier product not sold there.
Anyway, this has shea butter and maple extract and his this very very faint lovely smell as well as being moisturizing and not sticky. I hate overly sticky. The smell is a bit heady when putting in on, but it does not interfere with your fragrance. I love it.
I found it in Germany packaged with the face moisture of the same name (also good) in a really nice red travel bag, and it was only 6 euro for the lot. I do think it runs about 4 euro for 400ml. A really good buy for a good shea lotion product, I think.

I was never very interested in this body lotion, until I read it won some award for best body moisturizer. I thought it would be a good idea to try it out since my skin got drier in the winter time and I wouldn't lose much money if buying this. I am glad I bought this product, it moisturizes my skin, absorbs quickly, and has a nice decent smell which disappears.
I can tell that my skin is in a much better condition now, and I can recommend it to anyone who wants something convenient for the dry winter skin.

This review is for the red bottle of body repair.
I don't think this is sold in the US like all the range of garnier skincare.
sice I'm in Europe right now I'm taking advantage of this wonderful body lotion. In my opinion it's better than nivea.
First of all let me say the smell is delicious. Very sweet and subtile, delicate and won't interfere with your perfume.
The lotion is moisturizing, not as the Clarins ones (see my reviews), but for the price what can you ask for? It's about 4 euros (5 dollars less or more).
The lotion is rich but easily absorbed, leaves your skin really smooth and soft.
I really love it, it's a good alternative to an expensive body lotion, and it's easy to find it (in EU). Try it if you go oversea!

Just recently tried this lotion and I really like it. It's a thickish lotion that literally glides on your skin and is very softening. It actually feels like one of those lotions that have a lot of glycerine, like neutrogena. It leaves the skin really silky soft with a very attractive but subtle sheen. Subtlety is the name of this lotion! The fragrance is very soft and sweet but again, very subtle. It's very spreadable and quite concentrated so you only need a little bit at a time which makes it good value. My mum, who introduced me to this lotion uses hers twice a day everyday and her bottle lasts six weeks!! Overall, I think this lotion is very good, I love everything about it and will definately repurchase.

P.S. I love love love the bright red colour and the shape of the bottle and I love the fact that the top of the bottle is small so you can measure what comes out.

This moisturises my skin well without being too heavy or greasy, although I would normally use this in winter and something a bit lighter in summer. It absorbs well and smells nice. It is very affordable and I will definitely buy again.
