Strong, strong herbal smell and not moisturizing

Smells divine, I love spraying this on my hair just for the scent alone, but returned because it's otherwise ineffective. Provided absolutely no moisture nor any strengthening. They should just manufacture a hair perfume out of this. I love that it's free of a lot of chemicals, but the drugstore leave-in conditioners do a much better job than this.

I love this stuff. I have highlighted blonde hair and the difference between the days when I use this and the days I don't is huge. This make my hair so much more manageable and shiny and tangle and frizz free.

My only gripe with the line is I feel they are not catering to a wide audience - these products are not just ethnic products.

My biggest problem with this leave in is it leaves my hair extremely tangled! I generally roller set my hair and to get this product to perform I have to first detangle, then spray each section individually with a tiny amount of leave in. I must then spray water on top of that to loosen the clumping/tangles created by the product in order to comb through.

This is an extremely light conditioner, but one can find better, especially for this price. The smell is okay, and gets lighter after my hair is dry. As someone else said, the best part is that it isn't as sticky as other leave in conditioners, and does not weigh the hair down. I will finish the bottle I have but will not repurchase.

What a terrible product! I thought that a leave-in conditioner would moisturize my dry hair, so I bought this product. This did not moisturize my hair at all. It made it dry and dull. The residue it left was so heavy I had to shampoo three times to get it all out. I thought that perhaps I had used too much product, but when I tried using less I got the same wretched results. On top of that, the scent is pretty overpowering and doesn't fade. To be fair, Carol's Daughter seems to marketed to women with ethnic hair, which is nothing like mine, so perhaps this is fantastic for other women. I've got my doubts though.

I bought this product this past summer, hoping that it would help moisturize my hair in the dry air of my region. It was abominable. I tried using it with damp hair, dry hair, wet hair. It didn't matter: my hair felt like a mass of straw tangles with an oily residue. It did not penetrate the hair shaft, and the entire experience was not good.

Good lightweight leave-in spray conditioner. Amazing tropical fruit and floral smell.

I really love this product. It's a fine mist that doesn't weight my hair down, but moisturizes it. It's a nice version of the tui hair oil, but isn't as heavy. The bottle is nice as well- it sprays a little fine mist, so you don't get an annoying squirt of too much product.

So disappointed. I have thick curly shoulder length hair. I tried this on wet hair, I tried it on dry, and it didn't help with any frizzies. In fact, It made my hair frizz more. I even tried it as a setting lotion (sprayed towel-dried hair, put in rollers, put on dryer cap). Still not good!!!! It gave me a halo of frizz. I got this because the black vanilla was recalled at my Sephora. But after this experience, I might not want to try that one either.

I was quite surprised after using the Carol's Daughter's products. I was expecting sooo much more for my buck. The smell of this product is very refreshing. However, after using it on my hair, as well as my duaghter's, we've noticed lots of flakes on our scalp. It even made my scalp feel as if it was burning when I first started using it. I will not buy her hair products again since I started experiencing these things after using them.

this is a great light weight conditioner. I don't know what the other reviewers are referring to, the conditioner I have came in a spray bottle. I love the scent, and it doesn't make my hair oily feeling or weighed down.

I knew when after using this product one time, that the container was designed all wrong. The product is too thin of a liquid to be in a flip top. It would do better with a squeeze bottle, with a narrow opening or a nozzle top bottle. Actually a spray would be best, that's what I transferred it to. I also mixed it with half water to make it last longer. Can be pricey if ordering it and paying shipping and handling. I use it mainly to scent my hair, it smells wonderful. A friend of mine noticed, he said Ismelled like flowers after a rain storm (How sweet). This is tea for the hair to me, I don't notice any great difference in my hair but it does smell wonderful.

Que que...i spent all that money for scented water??? That's basically what it is. It didn't do anything for my hair what so ever and you run out of it so quick because it's literally all over the place before it makes it to your head...like i said water.

-k

UPDATE: Maybe i should have given it more time because i bought this product again and my hair is in the best condition ever!!! It instantly added so much moisture! My hair is super soft! Im glad they changed the cap and now it's a spray capped top!!! I like the Vanilla one better (even more moisturizing) but this Tui is really nice except for the slight weird smell it leaves after your hair starts to dry.
UPDATE: Ok people..it was a ..flook (or however you spell that?)....this stuff isn't all that. Try the spray leave in by Umberto Beverly Hills. That stuff works.

This is a pretty good leave-in conditioner. A lot of leave-ins leave my hair sticky, but this one doesn't. I love the smell. It smells like a combination of beer, tea, and tropical fruits. Leaves my hair soft -- especially when I put it on and braid my hair before going to bed (combined with Tui Hair Oil). I also use it to thin my hair gel (I use Fantasia IC gel) for better hair gel coverage. The one thing I don't like about it is the container. The conditioner is very liquidy, like water, and it runs out of the bottle too quickly. I wish Carol's Daughter would use a narrow flip-top spout like the one on the Infusium bottles, or add a spray top for more even coverage. Because of the poor container design, too much product is wasted. For reference, I have unrelaxed biracial/African American hair 3b & 3c, which I usually wear in a wash'n'wear curly style.
