I really wanted to like this eye cream. It smells good and seems to soak right in. . . but the next morning when I woke up my eyes were horrifically puffy and irritated. I have never has such an extreme reaction to a product.

I've tried some other Ole Henriksen eye creams and haven't been impressed, but I got a sample packet from Sephora and decided to try again. This is a nice eye cream, not too thick or runny, didn't ball up or irritate my eyes. I don't think it's a miracle worker, but it's a nice, serviceable eye cream, much better than any others in the Henriksen line. The sample pack was enough to make me consider purchasing the full size next time I hit sephora.

I don't know what happens to the jar that I got from Sephora. But my experience is definitely not good. I was debating between this one and the Fresh Start eye cream, but I was more into the anti-aging property of this eye cream, so I made the purchase without getting a sample. Ok. this cream just sat on top on my skin. Well, when I said it "sat" on top of my skin, I mean, it's absolutely not being absorbed at all. After an hour, I can still use a cotton pad to wipe the cream out. It's just such a weird experience. I don't know why. Maybe the jar I got was sitting on the shelf under those heated light, and its texture changes. But no matter what, I have to return it and will not try it again.

This is not my HG - but it's pretty good.
It's thick but not heavy.
It's moisturizing but not greasy.
I don't know if I'm seeing any major results...
I've been wearing this night and day.
I hope the antioxidants are doing something.
I got this as part of the African Red Tea Trio set.
It smells really good.
I probably wouldn't buy it by itself - but it was a good deal in the set.
$45 for .5 oz. - geez
His Fresh Start Eye Cream is $38 for a full oz.
So I'll try that next time - seems like a much better value.

( I think the best results I had with undereye fine lines was with Dior Capture Totale - but I hate the perfume-y fragrance and the $85 price tag)

I have LOVED every single Ole Henriksen product I have tried to date as this entire line just smells delicious, is antural, and has amazing ingredients. Sadly this eye cream didn't do it for me. It's mroe expensive than the other eye creams but love that it came in a jar and smells great. I had read reviews that this cream is heavy but didn't beleive it as I have tried many "heavy" feeling eye creams at first but they still are light on the skin and absorb completely. This one sadly did jsut sit on my eye, it never absorbed, and oddly dragged a little insterad of smooth application. Also even pilled. I was defintiely dissapointed it didn't work for me as I love ole products but jsut seems like it it for more older skin.

I love, love, love, love this product! That little jar goes a loooong way! But...it's a jar! ew, I find that really unsanitary. But anyway, the product itself though is amazing. I don't have lines, wrinkles, puffiness, or dark circles; but I have noticed after using this product for over a week my eyes looks brighter and moisturized. It goes on so lightly and absorbs quickly. I use it once a day before bed. It does it's job to prevent wrinkles for my age, I believe, so I wonder what it will do for people with wrinkles. Anyway, I love it. My SO uses it for his dark circles and he loves it too! Kind of pricey...but like I said, it goes a long way. And the ingredients makes me at ease to know it's not as harsh as most anti-wrinkle creams (retinol). So I would recommend this to anyone my age and older. It is a polite eye cream. lol

hmm.. don't get me wrong, I LOVE Ole's line but something about this was just not up to the standards that I have for his products. Practically all of my HG products are from this line, but not this. I love that it's infused with all these natural things that are supposed to help the eye area, but other than moisturize, I saw nothing that made me think this was a miracle. It was actually a little too heavy for my eye area and I wasn't able to finish the jar. I'm sad that this is the first Ole product I can't give 5 stars too.

I have very sensitive eyes. I have tried several eye creams and they all make my eyelids get swollen and itchy eyes. I also wake up with a film over my eye. This is the first eye cream that I did not react too. Feels great and hydrates the skin.

Wow! I do not know what is in this cream that I am allergic to, but about a minute after I applied it you could see on my face where it went because that area turned bright red. It didn't burn, but it was definitely red and swelling. I had to immediately wash this stuff off and my under eye area stayed red for the rest of the night.

I like other Ole Henriksen products, but this eye cream is definitely not for me. I have never had an allergic reaction to any other product like this ever!

NOT HAPPY ABOUT THE EUROPEAN PRICING!!!

I read about Ole's products in German Glamour and decided to try the Sheer Transformation cream which was good. After this I bought many other products as I like the line. I received a sample of this eye cream and then ordered the full size there after. This is a very well formulated and moisturizing eye cream which is not irritating.

My Problems started with Ole Henriksen when I went on the internet to check out his products. As these product are well know in the US and virtually new or unknown in Europe, I landed at a few US websites such as Sephora etc.

I was absolutely shocked to see how dirt cheap this line is sold in the United States. I found about 3 websites who took my order and I was happy that I could get the products at the same price that American pay. I was happy to pay the hefty shipping charge also.

Unfortunately every site where I ordered told me that it is FORBIDDEN for them to ship these products out of the US. I can only assume that the Manufacturer does not want Europeans to know how much they are being cheated.

While the products are in my opinion above average -

I WILL NOT SUPPORT THIS BRAND DUE TO UNFAIR PRICING ON THE EUROPEAN MARKET. This cream costs $45 (29 Eur) in the US and $162 (EUR 103) in Germany.

While I like Ole products, I refuse to support such unfair business practices. As these products are produced in America I do expect to have a 40 to 50% mark-up but not 200 to 300%. Kiehls, Bobbi Brown, MAC are also American brands and while they are somewhat more expensive in Europe vs the US market, the price difference is justified as a result of the additional expense of getting the products over here, import tax etc. In the case of Mr. Henrickson, I am not able to understand the price differential.

Es geht hier um das Prinzip - (Its a matter of Principle)

I'm always looking for a good eye cream to keep the skin around my eye area hydrated. And even though I'm young, mid-20's, I've decidely taken a serious stance in skincare to hopefully prolong the signs of aging. I can't really vouch for any improvement on fine lines and wrinkles since I don't have any, but I can comment on how wonderfully moist it keeps my skin. It does seem a little heavy which can be a little concerning, however you only need a very small amount and that just melts into the skin. It has never effected my E/S application. My only quip is the price tag, $45 for a little jar. Maybe I'll buy this when I have more mature skin so those anti-aging ingredients can be put to good use.

My HG eye cream is Shisheado Benefiance eye cream but it is much too heavy for daytime use. This is a great alternative for daytime - I love the texture - it is rich and sinks into the fine lines very well to form a good base for concealer. Doesn't make my mascara run, either. Can't comment on how "effective" it is at lines because I don't believe that a cream can take them away -- but the skin around my eyes looks plumper and smoother when I use this - so I'm satisfied.

I bought this eye cream on a whim after reading an article in InStyle magazine about the raves of this cream. The first night I used the cream, I didn't notice much of a difference. I used the cream once in the morning and once in the evening; after about a week, my eyes looked worse than before! As an avid user of Burt's Bees Attar of Rose Serum, the Ole Henrikson cream didn't really work for me. I'm in my mid 20's and have combination skin. Since I'm out $45, I plan on using Ole Henrikson during the day, and using Burt's Bees at night. I will not repurchase.

I have very oily, yet constantly dehydrated skin. My eye area is especially dehydrated and I get these tiny, fine dehydration lines right at my orbital bone that are very difficult to get rid of unless I use a heavy nighttime eye cream. But those are too thick and greasy to wear during the day, and I searched high and low to find an eye cream moisturizing enough to revitalize my eyes, but not greasy. Well, this cream is it!! I at first got samples of it from Sephora, and will not be using anything else in the foreseeable future. It sinks into my skin right away and does not leave my eye area looking greasy at all, and my eyes have never looked better. They are still fully moisturized by the end of the day, and those little lines that were making me look 5 years older than I am are gone. I love the African red tea in it, and am hearing wonderful things about that particular antioxidant and its benefits for skin. I wear it during the day only, as I use a thicker product at night, but I have never encountered a better daytime eye cream, and I have tried them all. The only complaint I have is that it comes in a jar as opposed to a tube, but they could package it anyway they like, I'll continue to buy it.

Even on my oily skin this eye cream is perfect. i'm prone to milia but even this one isn't too heavy. Ole's eye products are the only ones i've ever been able to use with any success at all. now my skin is soft and bright. love it for all ages and skin types.

This is a lovely eye cream that comes in a little glass jar. It feels quite thick at first but melts into the skin fairly quickly leaving no greasy feeling behind. It full of nice ingredients such as Vitamin C and other antioxidants and it does moisturise well. I've been using it for about 1 month, so I can't really comment on its effect on wrinkles, but as eye creams go, this is one of the best that I've tried.
