It claims to be more than a primer, but to me it is essentially just a silicone primer, although a very nice silky one. It does an amazing job smoothing out pores and wrinkles. Although the effect doesn't last long if I wear foundation on top, I really enjoy using it, unlike about 20 other primers I have tried before. Haven't noticed any effect whatsoever at the state of my skin, good or bad.

This product works well as a primer, to be used before moisturizer (Dermalogica). I find that it has made my skin extra silky upon usage. I also like the way my foundation (Cle de Peau) appears with this product.

I actually did not know this was a primer when I bought a sample off Ebay. I have been using Night Reform and Essential C Night Moisture for some time with excellent results.

My skin is slightly oily, oily enough so that by mid-day my pores look like sinkholes. I have not had much success with silicone-based products but decided to give it a try. It goes on and feels somewhat dry but my concealer and blush go on so smoothly and I use much less.

By mid-day my skin is looking pretty good - around late afternoon, I still have to pull out the Clean and Clear Blotting tissues but at least I'm not dabbing and blotting all day long.

I will have to give it a bit more time before I decide I'm in love. I have been using Lorac's Aqua Prime which has no silicone and am still somewhat on the fence about its efficacy. I foolishly bought a full size so I will have to do something with it.

I've been trying a deluxe sample of the Murad Day Reform that I received from Sephora. I'm on day 2, and let me just say- wow! My skin was looking dull, I had some dry patches and some faint discoloration from scarring that just wouldn't go away, as well as the odd bump and pimple that seemed to be taking forever to heal. In 2 days, this cream has made a tremendous difference. My skin tone is more even, dry patches have disappeared, and the scarring is getting lighter. 2 days ago, I was using a lot of heavy-duty concealer to try and cover my problem spots, today I just buffed on some powdered mineral makeup and that was it! The cream contains silicone (the Murad site lists all the ingredients and how to apply) and feels strangely dry, like putting a liquid powder on your face. It makes my face matte, like a primer, and I've found that my face has stayed matte for the entire day. Today, my skin looks matte and almost airbrushed- unlike 2 days ago. This prouct has made a very big difference in a very short amount of time. Because I've only used the Day Reform for such a short period, I'm unsure of whether my skin will get "used" to the product, and the product won't be as effective anymore. But so far, in the short term, this stuff has been amazing. I have purchased a large size to try.

It is by far the best primer I've used on my oily skin. A little goes a long way, and when I apply my foundation, much less product is needed because it spreads much easier.
I don't have huge pores to begin with, but I have acne marks and oilies, and this Day Reform evens everything out, making my face look almost flawless the whole day.
2 cons: I still get oily, so I still have to blot, and of course,the price.

I cannot say enough positive things about the day reform treatment. I received a great RAOK sample from a MUAer and immediately went out and ordered my own.

I have VERY oily skin and scary, crater pores and this is now my primer. I wash my face and put this on, wait 10 minutes or so (I make the bed and get dressed!) and then put on my EL Doublewear. First off, my makeup looks flawless and my pores are almost invisible. So, as a primer it is the best I have used. But, more importantly, when I wash it off at night my pores are still tiny. TINY! 2 different people have come up and made a comment about my skin looking beautiful and actually said, in particular, that my pores look smaller. This was sold out on Murad.com and I had to go find it on another website, but it is worth any effort. This is the most revolutionary beauty treatment I have ever discovered. Anyone can control acne with BP and BHA but it is a miracle to shrink pores. Halleluia!!!!

This product works immediately giving your face a "soft focus" look. It minimizes pore size and makes an excellent primer for the skin. It is in a silicone base. It contains retinol, BHA, and tannic acid to refine the skin. Also has zinc aspartate and lysine lauroyl methionate which can stimulate collagen syntheis. Lysine l.m. is also an antioxidant that is more powerful than vitamin E. Does not contain the paraben preservatives. This is the best primer I have ever used. My skin looks great with this product on and it lasts as a primer all day. I don't know how, but when I remove this at the end of the day, my face still looks great-pores are small and skin looks refined. Update: While I love this, it does not love me. Daily use causes my skin to break out.

This treatment is surprisingly potent and nourishing to the skin. Application is smooth and silky. You can actually feel the "barrier" effect soon after application. Not only treats the skin minimizing lines and yielding anti-aging benefits long-term, Day Reform Treatment acts as an excellent foundation primer when used in the morning. I find my foundation stays put ALL day with no oily buildup, cracking, or melting ... pretty awesome! Discovered this product through a sample from Murad, but am shelling out the $65 a second time now for the full size ... 'tis worth it!

This product claims to return skin to a younger looking state in ONE DAY by: Decreasing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles & by Creating a protective barrier to prevent damage that causes aging. I went online and recieved a free sample of this stuff. ( I got 3 uses out of the sample tube.) It feels amazing going on. It has a very soft, very silky texture going on and takes away the tightness after cleansing my skin. The feel of this product is heavenly and to touch my skin is like touching a baby's bottom! I didn't notice my skin looking any younger in a day but I don't have particularly wrinkled skin. Just a few very very fine lines on my forehead and some smile lines. I think my skin may have to be in more advanced stages of wrinkles to notice a difference in a day. I am also not crazy about the price. If this product truly works then I wouldn't mind dishing out $65 for a 1 ounce jar.
