Nice invigourating scent. A rather thin consistency for a shower gel/body wash, but still manageable and it lathers quite well. Doesn't irritate or dry out my skin. A bit expensive for the amount you get, but I would buy again if on sale.

Oh my, this product smells heavenly. I really enjoy using this in the shower and it makes me smell like a sweet, gingery and grapefruity goddess. You won't regret buying it.

This is just an "okay" soap for me. It smells great and very energizing, but I feel like it isn't very bubbly/sudsy, so I have to use more product than I should. I wasn't very impressed, but it isn't horrible either.

WHAT THE....How have I done like 500 reviews and been through so many natural products and not ever tried anything from Burt Bees? Buying this was initially a mistake. I returned an item to the Cosmetic outlet store 'and I couldn't find anything in there that I wanted so I picked up a few bottles of this to replace it with. I've read many a review on Burt Bees, most not being that great saying their products contained petroleum which clogs my skin like crazy so I've avoided them thus far but I read the label and this didn't. I can't use body washes usually because they irritate my claat (privates), waaaay too harsh down there but tonight I got so hot I decided to take a shower and used a little and WOW. This product is GREAT. I LOVE ginger (I actually buy it raw and candied and juiced, it's my addiction) and mix that smell with citrus which I also love it's a YES to this. My skin didn't dry out after my shower either which is amazing. I'll use it for a few more days. If my skin gets mad at it i'll use it as hand wash, if not i'll be flying back down to the store and buying up the rest of the $4.99 bottles. NOTE: I washed my hair with it as well and it made my hair ridiculously soft.
1 MONTH UPDATE I use this to wash my hair daily (yes i'm black with afro textured hair but I cut my hair down to half a cm so I can do crazy sh*t like that. lol). It's working well. So well that i'm using it for hand washing too. If it didn;t contain glycerine I'd probably do what i'm interesting in trying next, brushing my teeth with only soap.

Lathers really well (I use a Salux bath cloth), feels good on skin, and leaves skin feeling moisturized and soft. Price is reasonable. The only possible thing to not like about it is the scent; it's definitely not bad, but I don't like ginger so it's not the best, for me. I think many would like the scent though, it smells like a slightly spicy clean smell. The smell doesn't linger much after you dry off, though, which is good. Overall a good product for Burt's Bees, I will give a "yes" for repurchase because it's not the products fault I have a vendetta against ginger.

I first received this as a sample in the Essential Body Kit and loved how much it smelled that the next time I went to Walmart I snagged a full sized bottle. I will admit that for the price it doesn't wash as well as I would expect but who cares? It smells heavenly!

so i had gotten a trial size in one of the burts bees sampler packs and im loving this body wash. the smell is AMAZING! love all the ingredients and how it leaves my skin hydrated. the only thing i dont like is that the wash seems a little runny. i am going to buy the full size product and hoping the formula isnt as runny as the trial size

Hey, impressive! I've just gotten out of the shower after using this for the first time. I used it with one of those fluffy body scrubbers made of netting, and found that it lathered up a lot. Although the product was runny and watery in the bottle, the suds were thick and really creamy. It was an effective cleanser without causing my skin to feel dry afterwards. It has a very unusual but pleasing smell.
I received this item in a sample size as part of Burt's Bees "Essential Body Kit". I'm not entirely sure if I'll purchase the full size bottle due to the price- to me, body washes generally don't differ all that much, and I could get the same effects at a much lower cost. That said, this is my favourite I've used yet, and perhaps after a few more washes I won't be able to give it up. And if a product is so nice that I feel compelled to review it directly after trying it out, that says a lot!

I love it, it fresh, clean, natural and smells good too of course. I will defiantly buy again, I think I found my HG. It does not sud up as much but because it's natural.

This is a decent body wash. I don't love it though. While it smells WONDERFUL, I found that this product is pretty difficult to lather up. I like shower gels that lather up easily. This body wash doesn't do that, and because of that, I have to use more product more than I want to every time I take a shower. If the stuff doesn't lather, then I don't feel as clean. That's just my personal preference though.

I bought a sample of this a year or so ago and fell in love with the scent. I finally splurged on the full-sized bottle recently. I just love this product. The aroma is so fresh and juicy--smells like real oranges, not fake. It is a treat to use it in the shower in the morning. It actually helps to get me up and going. I love the fact that it is natural and I'm not putting harmful chemicals on my skin or down the drain into our ecosystem. I am being more mindful of the products I use and realizing that it all has to go somewhere--usually into our water supply!
The price is not bad for a natural product and the packaging is okay. I would prefer a pump bottle as well but at least the cap is not screw-off anymore as one reviewer noted. I find this to be gentle to my skin and does a good job in the summer of getting waterproof sunscreen off. It does NOT lather well without a poof of some sort, however. That is the only drawback but a small price to pay for the natural ingredients. I plan to keep buying this as long as they make it!

A basic body wash, smells nice and clean, a little pricey though. You defiantly need lotion after this one.

I was searching for a bodywash that was free of sulfates and parabens so I picked this up. It's pretty good, the smell isn't amazing or anything but it does the job in terms of being "natural"... if you like ginger smelling things and citrus you'll like this product. Overall I feel that Burts Bees has decent products.

I got this in a sample pack of "burts best" or something like that. This stuff smells disgusting. worst stuff ive put on my body. It is very runny and i accidently dumped a ton on my hand and had to try and get it back in because i didnt expect it to be so watery. Which brings me to the bottle....how can anyone pour some stuff in their hand and then close a screw cap bottle????? if i dont put the cap back on ill forget and dump it over accidently or my boyfriend will in the shower or something.... it doesnt feel like anything special....and the smell is gross.

This is a great, almost 100% natural ingredient body wash from Burt Bee's. It cleans thoroughly without over drying my sensitive skin. Personally, I love the spicy citrus scent and I consider myself very scent sensitive. The suds factor is pretty good too, but be careful to not use too much - it's easy to over pour and the stuff goes quickly. At $7.99, it's not cheap, but it's also not super expensive like some of the other natural product companies.

As a sulfate free body wash, this has the best lather. It's not as creamy lather-y as a softsoap or dove brand, but the lather is light and voluminous. The scent makes for an amazing shower experience but does not stay on your skin. I am fanatic about taking care of my skin and this stuff is gentle.

I recently started using Burt's Bees products as I'm trying to be more conscious about what I put on and in my body. I like the scent, it energizes my senses. The lather is good as long as using a loofah and it seems to not break my skin out !! I will repurchase.

My skin is relatively dry. This one makes it feels quite the opposite. In the past, I have always used bar soap and shied away from body washes, as they seem to irritate my 'area' a lot for some reason. I bought this at the same time I bought one of Burt's shampoos, just to make a little mini set for my shower. Besides, I figured 'what the heck, it's mostly natural', though I've soon learned natural means anything. Lava is natural.
The first time I used it and was done in the shower, I immediately noticed a difference in my skin. It didn't feel as if all of the moisture was zapped out of it and I could rub my hands together without my teeth chattering out of disgust. The effect has not changed and I am on about my fourth bottle. It also hasn't disrupted the chemistry 'down yonder'.
I actually don't have anything bad to say about this product. It smells nice and does a fine job of smacking me awake in the morning. It's not overly runny and lathers pretty good for something lacking SLS or SLES. I pay about $8.00 a bottle and it lasts quite awhile, unless my husband gets greedy and uses it twice a day and as a facewash :( .
I'm slowly losing faith in a lot of the Burt's products but this one is a staple in my household. I have no intentions of ever buying anything else as of right now. Unless it gets discontinued in my area, like anything else I get attached to...
