I have average lips, and I can tell there is a difference when I use this, especially in my bottom lip (for some reason, the bottom plumps up more than the top). The first time I used it I felt more of a burn and less of a tingling sensation, but I've either gotten used to it, or it was just a reaction to me putting it on the first time, as I can hardly feel any tingling when I use it now. It is pricey, but it works very well, so there isn't anything to complain about there, and I like how it's packaged, with the twist on the bottom so you can control easily how much gloss/plumper goes on. I was surprised with the gloss it gives, too. I expected it to be sticky, at least after wearing it for a while, but the gloss is smooth, and stays smooth. I have to apply it close to 4 times throughout the day, it's not a "once in the morning and done" deal, but it does last quite a while. I'll probably buy this again once I run out.

I am new to this lip plumping thing, I tried this product because Victoria's Secret happens to be one of my favorite stores. There is a sense of tingling...which for some weird reason I just LOVE. My lips are average, not too thin and not too full, so there's really no plump I feel that this product gives me. The plump some people see may be because of the high gloss. But, I love that it smooths out my lines. It is a bit pricey if you ask me, maybe because I am a college student? lol. The container is a bit bulky, I agree with the previous comment. I wish it did last longer. For me, I feel like I need to apply it every 30-45 minutes, that is without eating. I do love the gloss and the tint it gives your lips. It is great to wear to the gym for the 'clean' look, something a chapstick can't give you. I said I wouldn't buy this product again because I will be trying other lip plumpers out, unless VS find new ways to improve it.

My favorite lip gloss ever!
It makes my lips look fuller and enhances the natural color. I get a lot of little lines in my lips and this works instantly with a slight burning feel and makes them fuller and smoothes out all the little fine lines after they becoming fuller. I already have big lips I use this to make them even bigger lol and smooth out the fine lines. I have this in bare and I love that it just enhances the natural lip color and it looks so VS sexy like the models. It is a bit expensive I believe 22$ or so. This is one of the few things I can have on my lips that my bf doesn't mind. It doesn't taste nasty,it's slightly sweet and not to overly sticky and thick like some glosses,so it is kissable approved* The only things I would say that can be improved is first the packaging is a little to bulky in a big metal tube ,second you cant see how much you have left or know when you are going to run out ,and also it plumps great but for not that long and would like if they could make it stronger.I would like it if it was stronger.I dont mind the tingling I'm a tropper I had a child natural and pain is beauty lol But overall I am very happy that this it least works! I will probaly try the extreme one that is a step up from this one. My bf said this is his favorite on my lips so that means allot to me:

Have been using this for about 2 years now. Not sure if I actually like the product or the tingling sensation? Strange? It is a nice gloss to apply on top of your lipsticks. I'm just addicted to the tingling! LOL

awesome product. really works and gives you that numb, tingly feeling and a little expensive but i waited for the semi annual sale and got it for only nine dollars vs. eighteen. so far this is my favorite lip plumper and i love the smokey smell it has to it. hot pink is the best looking color for me

Price: This lip plumper was $18. I bought this in Baby Pink.

Packaging: I LOVE the packaging. It's a little bulky, but holds a lot of gloss. You twist the bottom, andthe product goes up into a smooth brush instead of a sponge applicator. Very simple to apply neatly. You can also layer easily to get the color and level of plump you want.

Time to Work: It takes about 2 minutes to reach its full level of
plumpy-ness. I didn't feel anything with one thin layer, bt with a few layers it tingles slightly. Not uncomfortable, it's a cool tingle, definately NOT a burning. Seems like it would be good if lip plumpers irritate you easily.

Meets expectations: Definately! Nexy i will buy the Bare color, but I will wait until its on sale; I don't like to drop that much on a lip plumper!

:) Try it next time you see it, you'll love it.

PS-It smells FANTASTIC. Like candy with a hint of vanilla. The color is very sheer, it's meant to enhance your natural lip color. :D

I bought this on a whim during a Christmas sale (it was going for $8). I'm not sure I would have picked it up at its normal price. But now that I've used it, I really love it--it has a nice smell and a lovely texture. It's very glossy and makes my lips look fuller. I'm not exactly used to lip plumpers, nor do I feel that I need them, so I'm not sure if this is particularly good as far as lip plumpers go, but it does create the optical illusion that your lips are fuller, and has a beautiful gloss and shine. I have it in Hot Pink. Definitely my favorite lipgloss.

This is my HG lip plumper. I have only tried "Baby Pink" and have been a repeat buyer of this shade. It is a very light wash of colour, but it's beautiful all the same. You can definitely feel the plumper working because it gives a tingle/numbing sensation (it does not burn). The formula really sticks to your lips and last a very long time which is another plus. The only downside to this product is that it has a fairly strong smell. It reminds me of smoke and candy or something...I can't put my finger on it.

I absolutely ADORE this stuff! I love Victoria's Secret lip products and this doesn't fail. I already have naturally big lips, but sometimes I want that super sexy Angelina Jolie look! And this does the job WONDERFULLY. Yes, it is very expensive (I think $18) but I have a VS credit card so I'm not too worried about spending that because I can slowly pay it back. This really tingles and inflates your lips. I love it. It looks so sexy with some nice gloss over it. It'll last a long time tooo! :D

I got this as a sample from VS last year. It's a great product! I tried it out and just LOVE it! The price was right (Free) and the packaging is cute and it fits great in my purse or pocket. I would buy it again for sure when I run out!

I actually picked this item up kind of by accident. I was waiting in line to check out, and the packaging caught my eye. So I picked it u, looked at it, and thought, what the heck, I'll try it. I didn't even pay attention to the price or anything. It was a complete impulse buy. I got it home and tried it out. I got the hot pink one btw. And I absolutely loved how sleek the product was, andt I liked that it had a brush applicator instead of a sponge one. I put it on and loved the texture. I noticed immediately that it didn't tingle like any other lip plumper I'd tried. I was kind of mad at this point, being the amount I had paid for a lip plumper, I didn't want it to feel just like a gloss. After a few minutes I noticed that my lips were nearly completely numb. I didn't like that too much...but it definitely did what it was supposed to. As far as the scent goes, I like it...it's a subtle vanilla-y scent. Not sticky what-so-ever, and gives a beautifully glossy finish.

If you can get over the numbing effect, I definitely recommend it. I saw it on ACW for a lot cheaper,so if you want to try it, check it out on allcosmeticswhole.com. I may repurchase from there instead. But be warned that the numbing effect is quite intense!

I have a sample of this in 'bare'. Bare gives a just pinched sheer look on your lips. I really dont see any plumping, mainly optical illusion from the glassy shine it gives. I'll use it up but wouldnt buy it in full size.

I got this in baby pink for $9 since it was half off. I like the idea that it's in a pen form with click application which makes it less messy. The color is sheer but adds a touch of pink shimmer. The product tingles but doesn't burn and I can actually feel my lips getting plumper. I would buy this again

I would probably not have purchased this product originally for the price but I got it 50% off (Semi Annual sale going on NOW girls, until mid Jan 2009) so I paid only 9 US. I got this in Baby Pink. I love the color, its a subtle baby pink with shimmer. It is only slightly sticky (not slippery like the Beauty Rush gloss) and I think it tingles when you put it on as well as numbs and the plumping works, but don't expect a major overhaul. It takes a bit for it to work (don't expect instant results, let sit for 10 min or so). I have pretty pigmented lips to begin with, so the color change is a subtle pink frost but it works for me. At first i wasn't sure about the packaging, but it works well for this gloss as it is a thick type of gloss that wouldn't glide on with a sponge-based wand. Instead, it's a twist up that dispenses into a white-bristled brush. The gloss itself is in a nice, sturdy chrome mascara-like packaging.
So in a nutshell:
-Color: Baby pink: exactly as described with a pearl, slight sparkle finish
-Feel and consistency: only slightly sticky, thick
-Moisturizes? Yes, a bit, slightly. At the very least it locks in preexisting moisture. Could be slightly drying but not too dry
-Smoothing? Yes, it smooths the lines in the lips but they don't disappear as you might expect from a super shiny gloss
-Shine: a good amount of shine but not a glassy finish
-Plumping effect: moderate
-Tingle or numb? A little of both and you can feel it for a while
-Lasting power: okay
-Cost: I personally don't think it's worth paying full price for it but it's a good product and I'd purchase again on sale.

I'm on my third tube of this stuff. Love it!! I don't get a huge plumping effect out of this, but I love the consistency and it seems to really heal my chapped lips better than any chapstick I've tried. Always leaves my lips smooth and comfortable, and it's a really lasting effect. This is a must have in my purse at all times!

I got a sample of this at one point, and I liked it so much that I bought a full-size (although only because it was fifty percent off; I would never pay $22 for lip gloss!). I can't tell that it actually makes my lips plumper, but whatever tingly stuff they put in it definitely makes the blood go to them and makes them pink. The gloss is the perfect consistency-- not too thin, not too sticky. And the click dispenser is great too.

The tingle it gives your lips is nice, and the gloss is fantastic - it lasts for a long time. I love the packaging; the click dispense is so much better than tubes since it wont leak or make a mess. You can't expect a whole lot of plumping from anything nonsurgical, but it does do enough to notice. And it smells great, like candy :)

The first few times I used this, it seemed like my lips became numb. I know it sounds strange; I was thinking that perhaps numb lips appeared larger because they were relaxed. (=

It no longer has this affect on my lips but is a nice gloss if not a little pricey. Probably will not repurchase.
