This cream is lovely. I have oily skin, mainly just around my t-zone area, and as soon as I first started using this cream I loved it and I still do six months later. The texture is just lovely, it is a milky pink colour (yay pink), it feels like a high quality cream, and is just the perfect texture. It is not thin and sticky like some creams, or thick and cakey and just "too much" like others. It's the perfect thickness in my opinion and it glides like velvet over the skin. It is quite moisturizing and has helped to keep my oil glands under control a bit. I don't think its the best cream in the world, I think there are others that you might be able to find that are better, and possibly not as expensive, as I paid $80 for this cream in Australia which is slighty ridiculous in my opinion, but overall I do think it is a lovely cream for oily skin.

The only reason why I wouldn't repurchase, is because of the price and the fact that I would like to keep trialing new products to see which one is best, as, like I said, I do feel like there would be a product out there somewhere with a bit more of that "wow" factor that is just absolutely PERFECT for my skin! (I hope I find it one day! haha)

Pros: Beautiful texture and colour, moisturising without being greasy, decent amount of product in packaging, luxurious to use, a little bit of a product goes a long way and it lasts for aaaages.

Con's: Packaging is simple and fresh - yet slightly boring and unoriginal somehow, quite pricey, may not be moisturing enough for combination skin types (drier cheeks and oilier t zone) as my cheeks can tend to look a litt'e dehydrated and a serum underneath this becomes necessary!

8/15!

I've been using Emulsion Tomate for over a year now and in conjunction with other Ella Bache products, my skin has never looked better!

I have oily combination skin which is prone to redness and dry flakes occasionally and whenever I smooth this onto my face, my skin feels immediately soothed and comforted. I actually love the smell and my skin just feels comfortable.

It leaves a soft sheen on the skin and if you're after a matte effect, this isn't the best EB product for you but it's the best for irritated, sensitive and medium-oily skins.

The first thing I noticed when I applied this product was how greasy it was and how simular it was to Vaseline petroleum jelly. To my surprise one of the ingredients is Mineral Oil. If I knew where I read it I would paste the comments, but Mineral Oil isn't really the best thing for skin. When I googled it, I was shocked to find out how cheap and not so good it was for my skin. The smell isn't so great, and with a price tag it was selling for, what a waste of money. Makes me think twice about what I am puting on my skin, and I did have hope in this product.

I was recommended this product by the SA as I have combination skin that's prone to redness. It didn't really do much for my redness, and left my skin very oily in my t-zone. I wouldn't buy again.

I've got combo skin & found this is the only moisturiser I can use in the summertime in Oz - the humidity makes my skin sticky & oily but a tiny pearl sized blob of this keeps oil under control & my skin clear.
The best in combo with purete demaquillant in humid weather!

I have normal to slightly oily combination skin, and I have been using this product for little while now. I experienced no break outs with this product. It is very moisturizing, however I have a few problems with it. It leaves quite a shiny finish (as most ella bache moisturizers do) and it does feel slightly greasy on the skin. However I will put up with these two gripes as this is the only moisturiser I have tried that has not made me break out! I would not recommend this for "truly oily" skins that this cream is aimed for as I think oilier skins might find it a bit too rich. Also it does diffuse redness slightly.

i have this one when i was in australia.it is good for balancing the pH (i did an skin analysis and my skin was NO pH)and hydrating the skin. it did do a good job during autumn -winter but it was rich for me when i come back to malaysia. it is tube-like packaging.i think is about AU 45-50 something. i use half pearl-size every morning so 1 tube can last very long. worth to buy if u have very dry skin or live in cold climate.

This was the first expensive moisturiser I was willing to fork out cash for. Has a beautiful smell (some people might not like it coz it takes a little getting use to), and silky texture. A little thick for a cream supposedley targetting oily and dehydrated skin, but considering this was recommended to me by two sales assitants from different ella bache outlets (they used their new blue lamp technology for diagnosis). Anyway, perfect for me during winter, though I use it less often in warmer weather else it'll be a bit too oily.

This is a moisturiser meant for combination skin. However, when i used it for a couple of weeks, i started to break out as this product is quite rich- most Ella Bache moisturisers are. I will probably start using this product again in winter, as my skin gets really dry. That's the only problem i had with it, otherwise, it's an excellent moisturiser for normal/young skin, especially as a night cream.
