Do NOT use!!! I bought this product at Whole Foods today, thinking it would be great for my sensitive skin. I put it on and instantly turned bright red (this never happens) and I could see streaks of red form where the lotion had been spread. Plus, my face felt like it was on FIRE. I immediately took it off and washed my face with ice cold water to bring down the redness and burning but it persists. I've taken some Advil, hoping that works. Bottom line, avoid this stuff like the plague. I never imagined that its alleged all natural ingredients could be so damaging! Plus, after that one usage, my forehead pores look the biggest they've ever looked. I'm appalled by this crappy product.

I really really wanted to like this products when I bought it. I was looking forward to try an all natural, vegan, organic and cruelty free moisturizer, following my new years resolution to be more environmentally friendly. I decided to invest much more money than I was used to and went home super excited to try it on.

At first, I really liked the texture and the flowery scent (unlike most other reviewers it seems!). I couldn't get enough of that smell. I felt so refreshed.

Unfortunately, after 3 days of using that product, my entire face turned crimson red and incredibly itchy every time I put the lotion on. I had a bad allergic reaction to it. I have sensitive skin but it was the first time I reacted so badly to a product. My skin was so incredibly itchy all day and I had to wait a good half hour before even trying to apply any type of makeup.

What a deception. I still give this product a 3 because I am sure it would have worked for me, if only I didn't react so badly!

I first got this moisturizer in a sample size. And purchased it afterward ($12) from online wellness store. I like it as a night cream. I use Retinol From SkinCeuticals and it dries up my skin. This moisturizer is a nice addition to my skin care routine, because it solves the problem with itching and flaking. The fragrance is very natural, not perfumy (if you know what I mean), but it's quite strong. I read different reviews about this product: people love it or hate it! I recommend to try it and decide for yourself.So...Are you a LOVER or a HATER?:-)))

Theres alot that i like about this product, but only one reason why i won't give it a 5 rating. i'm pretty sure it breaks me out....not huge painful cysts, but whiteheads. and not a ton, but it just seems like if i use it regularly i will get a few of them here and there. but, even though i suspect this, i haven't really given up on it because its really the only moisturizer i've tried that doesn't break me out in BIG painful zits.
Anyway, on to the good. For me, this stuff moisturizes just the perfect amount. It doesn't make me greasy, or oily looking, but makes my combination skin happy and moisturized. I use a very small amount for my entire face, and it still works well. I also love that its got natural ingredients and no parabens or other weird crap in it. And the fact that i can put it on and then put on makeup, and it doesn't peel off in that annoying pencil-eraser way, like some moisturizers. And, when i wake up my face feels really soft, and almost glow-y looking.
But, overall I am still on the fence. I've gone through a whole tube and am on my second, but I'm not sure if I will repurchase. I guess it depends on if i can find something even better.

+EDIT+ unfortunately, the new reformulation of this product REALLY breaks me out bad. i have no idea why, because there are only a couple minor changes, but man...i have zits EVERYWHERE! ugh. i guess i won't be using this again. such a shame because its natural, and leaves my skin soft, but then the breakouts come, and i just can't deal with that :( i guess the search continues..

I grabbed this at the supermarket when my mom told me to pick up some stocking stuffers for myself. Unfortunately it's been completely unimpressive. My skin is combination and doesn't need a heavy moisturizer but this barely hydrates it at all. I've relegated it to my neck and chest - there are better products to put on my face. I can't tell if this does anything at all.

I like this but I wouldn't buy again. The reason is some of the ingredients can clog pores. This has never caused me to breakout nor have I noticed any pore clogging due to it, but I know it maybe could. Kind of a scaredy cat reason but thats it. It really leaves my skin moisturized and maybe even plumps it up a little. But because of the ingredients I only save this for my really dry flaking days. I've been starting retinoid products and this has helped me not dry out too much.

If you're looking for a moisturizer that does not clog pores and has great ingredients, you should try this one out. I've been using it for a month, and it has not clogged my pores, and in fact I think it makes my skin look nice and glowy. It also definitely makes my face soft. Looking at the ingredients, it should have some serious anti-aging properties, though I haven't seen a difference on the fine lines under my eyes, but that may be because my lines aren't deep enough yet for any product to do anything.

However, this isn't my HG...I'm still looking. The reason?
Well, I don't find this cream to be tremendously moisturizing. After I put it on my face in places still feels dry so I have to put another lotion on top. Also, the smell is VERY strong. While I think it must be from the natural ingredients, it is still so strong that it really bothers me, esp when I try to go to bed right afterward.
Lastly, the bottle is sooo tiny that I think I'd have to buy a new one every month and a half. I want a cream that will last at least a few months!

Pros: It hygenic, moisturizes fairly well.
Cons: Is expensive for the quantity you recieve, smells awful.
I think I would really like this moisturizer if it was not for the stinky smell. Oh well another one bites the dust.

I spend 18.99CAD on this 29ML moisturizer, so the price is not very cheap. The smell is pleasent, natural and nice. It is concentrated, only a nickel-size is enough for my face.Once i put a little more on my face, then it seemed not absrobed by my face after a few mins. Another pity is that it isn't last long enough, i mean after 4-6 hours, my face feel dry again. So i will not buy it again. It is not bad, but just there are other fantastic moisturizers.

I used to try all kinds of moisturizers in attempt to find the *perfect* one for me. I just happened upon this one and loved it from day one. I have since been using it for six years! Other people who have tried mine loved it and switched over.

It is a light weight moisturizer that absorbs into your skin quickly and wears well under makeup. I sometimes put it in my purse to dab a little under my eyes during the day for added moisture. It leaves your skin soft and refreshed. There is a very light floral fragrance that is not overpowering and fades fast. One thing I really love about it is the natural ingredients.

My skin: dry in places, oily in others, prone to breakouts, sensitive
This moisturizer has worked well for me and has not affected my skin negatively (no redness or sensitivity, no breakouts, no oil slick).

Because I have been using this moisturizer for so long I know it like the back of my hand. And much like my hand… I simply cant live without it! Now I have had a few problems over the years. I am not sure if there are black market brands out there or what but three or four times I have purchased it at a different location and noticed that the box or the tube looked a little different than usual. Then when I went to put it on it was DEFINITELY NOT the regular mixture. There were changed in texture (too oily/liquid) and the smell was off (more plastic smelling than anything). In a panic I emailed the company to ask if they had changed the formula. When they said ‘no’ my eyebrows were a bit raised. I simply returned the defective lotions and purchased elsewhere. Just a heads up!

I am so surprised by the abundance of positive reviews for this moisturizer! I have tried SEVERAL times to use this product with the same results each time - itchy, redness, irritation. All of these symptoms do not appear until after a few minutes of me using the moisturizer every time I use it, so each time I think I am lucky I didn't have a bad reaction - until the redness starts. I used this in collaboration with the Clean for a Day cleanser, which I love. I have dry & sensitive skin, and this did not work for my face at all. Additionally, I would pay through the nose for a product that worked for my skin, however this did not, and it is rather expensive ($17 CDN) considering the super tiny tube!
I guess this just doesn't work for me! I also find the scent to be overwhelming, but that is just my preference. I found it to be too floral and had a hard time ignoring/getting used to it.
Hope others are more fortunate with this product than I was!

Scores a 2 (low risk) on Skin Deep (cosmeticsdatabase.com)

Just wanted to say that while I really liked this moisturizer, it was so strongly scented that I ended up with a bad sinus headache every time I used it (I'm pretty sensitive).

If you think Welede Skin Food is great, but too heavy and sticky...you will love Underage.

It's a med weight moisturizer, but it really softens your skin and the fragrance is a soft rose. I can even wear it under maukeup.

I love this moisturizer, I have oily skin so I usually use it at night or during the winter months, and it works great. It smells wonderful, absorbs quickly and leaves my skin nicely hydrated. It also does not cause breakouts of my acne prone skin which is great.

I have fairly dry skin that is often prone to breakouts. I have been using the Start Up cleanser and applying Breakout (both from this line) before applying this moisturizer, and my skin hasn't been this clear in years.

This is a light moisturizer that soaks in very well, without leaving any residue or shine. It doen't clog my pores at all, and goes well over the Breakout gel, when not all moisturizers do. I use it day and night. I'll probably need something heavier at night in the winter, but for now, this is just right, with some eye cream.

It comes in a hygienic squeeze tube that's soft enough to get every last drop if you twist the hell out of it.

LOVE THIS!

This winter, my skin became a lot drier than usual, so I've been using this moisturizer at night and in the morning on days when my regular moisturizer with SPF is not enough. I find it to be very moisturizing without feeling thick or heavy, it absorbs very quickly and easily, and keeps my face soft and happy without leaving a film or greasy feeling. I really love the scent; it's gorgeous- very floral and pretty but not too strong. I'd recommend this product to anyone, it's a keeper. The ingredients are 86% organic: Certified Organic Floral Water of Lavender, Chamomile, Echinacea, Steam Distilled Water, Infusion of Organic Herbs - Golden Seal, Licorice Root, Yellow Dock, Horsetail, Red Clover & Olive Leaf, Certified Organic Sunflower Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Glucoside, Certified Organic Jojoba Oil, Wheat Amino Acids, Vegetable Glycerine, Caprylic Acid, Glycine, Honeysuckle Extract, Rose Oil, Xanthan Gum, Borage Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Allantoin, Ceramide 3.

I tried this moisturizer and the Cell Mate 15 one. For reference, I have very dry/very oily acne-prone combo skin, but this moisturizer works better than the Cell Mate 15. I think anything with a chemical sunscreen will cause breakouts, at least on me it does! I'm not sure why KMF didn't use a natural sunscreen like Zinc Oxide in their Cell Mate version. This moisturizer is almost perfect , it hydrates well, doesn't leave your face shiny/greasy, and it does not cause breakouts. I love the smell, it does smell lightly of roses. My only complaints are that I wish it had SPF (from zinc oxide), and that it comes in a 1oz size!! I suspect 1oz won't last anyone very long, and could get quite expensive.

Let me start this off by saying I had bad skin most of my puberty+ life. Nothing I used would help with breakouts, and in fact too many facial products seemed to aggravate it. Bad skin as a teenager sux...bad skin as an adult sux even more!

This changed for me when I found the Kiss My Face line at Whole Foods Market about 5 yrs ago - I got the Breakout Acne Gel and this moisturizer, Under Age. I'm telling you, within DAYS I could see and feel a difference!!! I love the silky feeling of the moisturizer - it's completely non-greasy and even though my skin absorbs it very quickly, it doesn't need much at all to last all day. I'm a little puzzled by everyone's remarks about it's 'strong smell' - for me it seems very lightly scented, and even that goes away pretty quickly. Ever since then I've used these 2 products along with So Refined scrub, Start Up facial wash, and occasionally the Pore Shrink mask, and my skin has never been this clear, this smooth, this refined...EVER!

I've tried some of the very expensive moisturizers out there and have always been disappointed. In comparison, KMF products are much cheaper, and since they're organic I feel a lot better spending my $$ on them!

I'm 45 yrs old now and for the first time I feel comfortable going out with just a little mascara on for makeup. To me, that's miraculous!

Sorry to ruin the great reviews, but this product just didn't work for my sensitive rosacea skin. It stings a bit too much upon application, has a strong floral/ herbal scent, and seemed to make my face a bit redder and enlarge the look of my pores. Plus it was not moisturizing enough. In my opinion the strong scent and irritation factor are very disappointing in a "natural" product. By comparison, The Body Shop's 24-hour skin re-leaf lotion with Kinetin had an herbal leafy scent that was quite mild, and even with the Kinetin it was less irritating to my skin than this stuff..... My husband will use the rest of the tube as it's okay on his oilier, less sensitive skin.

My skin recently underwent a change and I've been battling dry spots around my nose and mouth. After trying numerous other drugstore brands, I found that KMF Under Age had good reviews so I decided to give it a whirl and I'm very happy with it! It keeps my face moisturized all day, but hasn't caused me to break out. My dry patches have disappeared, as has the redness associated with them. The smell of this moisturizer is strong and flowery, but it doesn't bother me at all, particularly because it goes away fairly quickly. Like other users, I choose to use something more nourishing at night (Earth Science Apricot Night Creme, coupled with Jason Natural Cosmetics Vitamin E Pure Beauty Oil 14,0000 IU), and I'm finding this combination really makes my skin glow all day.

Update 06/24/07: I just don't think that it was this moisturizer that made my skin look better, and in fact, it looks better when I use something else. Taking off one lippie because of that; still a nice product.
