I bought this without realizing it was sheer. I got the fuschia and intended to use it as a matte lipcolor, but it's basically lipgloss in a pencil. What a dumb idea. Plus you have to sharpen it after each use.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm no expert on lipliners. I could wear a full face of makeup and would still put on a tinted lip balm at the most. I have this on bonzai and it applies really evenly, a bit dark on my lips, but I layer a light pink gloss (Amazemint in freedom of peach) on it and it becomes extremely flattering.

It works well as a gel liner and leaves a nice tint when my lip makeup rubs off

This is a useless product for my complexion. I have it in Honeysuckle. I am brunett with olive skin and it does not show on my lips. It might be more suitable for pale skin gals.

I love this lip liner so much. I purchased it in Banyan, and it's perfect for my pale skin. I bought it on clearance for around a buck, and went back and bought the rest of them, along with three other colors.
It glides on so smooth, without the harsh line lip liners usually give, but it stays on like a regular lip liner. I use it under gloss, every day, and couldn't be happier. I only wish it was still stocked in stores. Does anyone know of a product like this, that will still be available? If so, please message me!

Fortunately I only paid around $1.50 when it was on clearance at Walgreens because this product is useless as a lipliner. It's like lipgloss in pencil form so it's not only slippy and slidy-it's sheer. What good can this do as a lipliner, I ask you?
Not only that, the end of the liner twists to dispense more product but mine must be defective because it does nothing when I twist it. *shakes fist*

I came across this liner while buying unnecessary makeup in Rite Aid (although im usually a sephora kinda gal!) I bought it in honeysuckle because i need a fleshtone liner that wouldnt be obvious. I tried it and LOVED it. If worn alone it can be kind of greyish tint so i apply lip balm to my lips dab a dot or two of red lipstick and apply this on my entire lip and i get the perfect nude (but not dead) color. Went to buy another as a backup!

I got this in Honeysuckle. I was pleasantly surprised how nice and smooth this goes on; it does not pull or tug like some lip pencils. This color is so natural and neutral that it goes with any colored lipstick or lipgloss. I use this with my lipglosses and it makes the staying power much longer. This is such a great high quality product and I can't believe how cheap it is.

I love gloss liners. They're like the discontinued Rimmel Vinyl Jelly gloss liners. I originally got the Honeysuckle because of the stellar reviews. However, I found it way too gray on me. It seems to work on a lot of people here but I am super, super warm/yellow and it didn't work for me. I also got the Lily color, which is a bright but sheer strawberry pink. I want to try the Banyan or Bonzai next as neither of these colors are working for me, but I love their texture and pigmentation.

I have this in honeysuckle and it is a really beautiful nude colour not too brown, orange or pinky. The formula is great and the pricing is very affordable.

ooh i like this. I have this in calla, which is a bright pink color. I use this to lightly line and fill in my lips and then top with a lip balm. This gives me a natural pink lip color that really brightens up my face. :]

Ooh I love this liner! I am really a gloss girl-sometimes wearing a subtle lipstick so this is the perfect product for me! It offers very subtle definition so it's pretty much fool proof as well.
I have it in honeysuckle (a beautiful nude) and in a brighter pink colour for a lippy I have.
They don't leave a horrible tacky rim around my lips even in the brighter colour. It seems to fade WITH the gloss when I'm eating e.t.c which I really like. They are very creamy with no weird scent.
I love them.

I bought LIghtshine Sheer Gloss Liner in Honeysuckle as a substitute for my fave lip gloss liner, Clinique Sheer Shaper for Lips in Bare Buff (which was recently discontinued). It's a little cooler in shade than I'd like, but still a perfectly adequate replacement. The subtle pigment and smooth texture is comparable to the Clinique gloss liner. They're also a steal at $4.99 a pop vs. $15 - $20 for similar designer brands. I highly recommend this product.

Love this lip pencil. I got this in Banyan which is 1 shade darker than my lips and it is perfect with my nude lipgloss..I like the natural look for day/work. And it does work it keeps my lipgloss in place. This is a keeper.

This is a review for the color Bonzai. On me, this is a MLBB + just a little bit more. Its a nice consistancy, and almost as important to me, it sharpens properly. What I mean by that is the pencil shaves off evenly, and the nub thats left doesnt break off as you are trying to apply. Nice and creamy, I use it to line and fill and as it wears off, add a bit of gloss. Nice product for dirt cheap.

I have this in Honeysuckle, which, for me, is a MLBB color. I find that it goes on smooth and really lasts, which is great, considering it can be had for under $3.

The consistency is great and glides on without tugging at the lips. Not to mention it smells like cake batter.

I love love LOVE Prestige's liners, and this one is yet another winner. I have this in Honeysuckle, which is THE perfect color for my lips, it literally disappears right into my lips, the match is THAT good. But what results is a very sheer, glossy, formula that gives my lips a very natural and nude pout that I can never achieve with any other product. I always hate lipliners because they are so drying and I never find the need for them since I don't wear a lot of highly pigmented lipcolors anyway. But I felt like it was the only item that was missing from my makeup arsenal so I set out to find a good nude lipliner that would match my own lip color, and the search is finally over! It is a neutral nude color that I imagine would work well with a lot of skintones. Now all I need is a lipstick in this same color and I'm set. This is my all time favorite lipliner and I will never stray! This is a very high quality product at only a fraction of some of the high-end brands out there!

I love this SO much. I bought it in Honeysuckle, a gorgeous beigy-pinky color. I wanted to try it because it looked like it would be nice with lipgloss since it is lighter and sheerer than normal lipliners. It's perfect, my HG. I've been buying lipliners for over ten years obsessively looking for this exact product. Works great with lipgloss, lipstick, or even to line and fill my lips and then top with a bit of lipbalm. I went back to Ulta after I got the first one and bought out every one they had in the store. Whenever I see them, I buy more because I'm afraid they'll d/c them. I have one in my car, backpack, purse, work, everywhere. It's just gorgeous, MLBB in a very natural, sheer, shiny way.

I have this in "Honeysuckle", which looked like a neutral, pinky tan at the store, but on my (medium-pigmented, mauve-rose) lips, looks more like a cool, beigey pink--an Angelina Jolie-esque grey corpse-ish color. Due to the greyish tone, it's not the most flattering thing on me, though I think it'd probably make for a great nude lip on the right complexion (I'm LLL-MMM/yellow undertones). The texture is light, creamy and gel-like, very smooth but not too slick. It draws and blends very easily, which makes me think it won't have the best staying power. This has a bit too much pigment to work as a 'reverse liner' too--I really think it would've made more sense to come out with gloss sticks (fatter versions of these pencils) rather than slipper lipliners that can't do what lipliners are meant to do (keep gloss in place). Inexpensive, though, and a nicer consistency for filling in lips than Stila Glaze liners. No funky scent or anything either. Might repurchase if I can find a better shade.
