I absolutely adore this lotion. The way my skin feels so silky and smooth after a few uses of this is unlike any other body lotion or cream (even La Mer!). If I ever have a break-out on my back or chest this clears them in no time at all. The only problem is, the cost of this in the UK was £40 last time I checked a couple of years ago and then just recently I discovered it has been discontinued. I have no idea what I will do without this. Guess it's time to find an alternative :(

Best Lotion I have ever used in my life. My skin feels like silk. You can not purchase at Sephora - dont know why - has to be the best lotion on the market. Absolutely in love, of course it is a bit pricey, but I dont know how I can use anything else.

This amazing lotion is the ONLY thing that will clear the small, persistent bumps I get on my chest. I have very sensitive skin and though this tingles slightly upon application, it has never irritated me at all. I apply it daily immediately after showering and it gives my skin a lovely glow. Im on my 5th bottle!!

i bought this at sephora which retails about $45 for 8.45 oz. i got this to help with my rough chicken skin on my legs, arms and neck. it works pretty well and since it was expensive (for a body lotion) i only used it on areas i only need but i'm not sure if i would repurchase this because of the price...i'm going to try paula's choice 10% AHA body lotion when i run out because it's $23 for 8 oz...hopefully that will be just as good

This makes me skin incredibly soft even after I take a shower and its off, my legs are softer than ever. It's like a treatment moisturizer. It says to have skin damp when applying it, makes it go on easier. A little goes a long way. I put it on my legs, bottom, stomach and sides. My skin looks brighter and smoother already after 2 weeks of using it. I only use it once a day.

I use this lotion to help get rid of those damned little bumps on the backs of my arms that have appeared as I've gotten older. I hate them! I thought it was a losing battle until I tried this lotion. It's strong so I use it every other day as I don't want to overdo it. I could do without the fragrance as it conflicts with fragrances I wear, I maily use it at night due to the scent. This lotion works, but you must use it regularly to really reap the benefits. Be careful if you have even the tiniest scratch on your hands as it will sting as you're applying it. I always keep a bottle of this lotion around but mainly use it for that dreaded arm problem.

I find it a little weird to give this product a high rating given its limitations, but for what it does for me, it has no equal. First, you get a lot of product. So I smoosh it on my face before my shower to get the multi-hydroxy acid action going, then on the bum post-shower. Soft as as baby's bottom. Despite the packaging's claim, I do not use this stuff all over as, for one thing, you smell the acids all day if applied to arms and, for another, it's far too intense, even for my bulletproof skin to wear everywhere, all day.

I like what this product does for my skin, especially the keratosis pilaris on my arms and legs. When I apply it, it feels warm, like a mild sunburn. Some folks may not like that sensation, but I enjoy it. The texture is nice and it absorbs right away. One thing I strongly dislike about the lotion is the scent. To me it smells exactly like cheap men's shaving cream (Barbasol or Colgate?), and the scent lasts all day, however faint.

Given the outstanding reviews of this lotion, I made my way over to Sephora last night and tried it out. I was so underwhelmed. It never sunk in and left a nasty residue on my skin that rolled off as I massaged my arm. It never felt good...I went home and took a shower to wash it off. AND...it smelled okay coming out of the bottle, but got rather rankish as time wore on. There was nothing I liked about this, except that if you can stand the feel, you'll probably get the benefits of the glycolic over time. At $42, it's staying on the shelf...in fact...you couldn't give this product to me.

i had this rough patch on the back of my legs that i could never get rid of. i've tried exfoliating and then using a rich moisturizer. never worked!! but after using this one day, my legs were SO SMOOTH. i am not kidding. this lotion moisturizes very well. i haven't had a dry spot on my skin since. but watch out if you have open cuts or anything. it'll sting really bad.

i tried this as a sample, and must say i am completely in love with this and all DDF products. the price is a lot for me, but from the results of using it just a few times, i'd say well worth it, far better than some of the lotions double the price of this.

This lotion has been the best at helping keep the little bumps on my upper arms and drier skin on my legs at bay. I'm not sure, but I think it may also be helping to reduce some signs of sun damage on my arms now that I've switched to better sunscreens. Next to those sunscreens, this is the most expensive beauty product I buy at $40.00 a bottle, but it works. After trying (and wasting my money) on drugstore versions that I don't think are comparable, I'm going to stick with the DDF. (normal-dry skin, not prone to allergies)

From someone who has struggled with keratosis pilaris and dry skin, this lotion is a GODSEND. Within 2 weeks of applying it conservatively to my upper arms and my thighs and buttocks, all are BABY SMOOTH. No more rough chicken skin bumps at all!! Now, it is expensive, but as an ingredient, glycolic acid is one of the most expensive ingredients out there. And it works beautifully. I'm in love, and so relieved that I have found something that really, really works. *happy sigh* It also has lactic acid - perhaps it is the combination that makes this lotion so heavenly devine? I don't know, but I do know that this is an inelastic expense for me!!!

This is my favorite glycolic body lotion. Other brands may do the job, but I really like the way the DDF lotion feels and smells. $40 is pricey, but a little goes a long way. If you want to see similar results, a cheaper drugstore alternative is Lac Hydrin, but I just don't like the smell. I will keep buying the DDF as long as my budget allows.

Oh....my....God....!!!! Sorry for being so dramatic but as someone who has suffered from dry skin and sadly, Keratosis Pilaris, I have to say that this lotion works wonders. I've only been using it a short time now but I immediately felt a difference (for the better) after using it on my elbows and a dry patch of skin on my ankle. It is absolutely amazing. Too bad it's so pricy. I'm not too worried about spending extra money on a quality product, but I must admit I would be a million times happier if it was maybe $20 or so. That I could justify, but $40 is pretty steep. Anyhow, if you haven't tried it, get a sample from Sephora like I did (I'm not sure if they'll have any left or not) because it is worth trying. It does it's job and the fragrance is so mild which is always a plus in my book because I have found the more fragrant a product, the more drying it is on my skin.

This is definite HG for me. I used it twice and felt a total difference in my skin. Smoother, softer and the softness lasted. Pricy, but worth it. I would definitely keep buying this

Like the previous reviewers, I bought this to help get rid of bumps on my upper arms. I can tell you that daily application will help the problem dramatically. I had the bumps really bad over the summer. I figured out that it was probably the thick sunscreen products that I had been using for the beach. They were protecting my skin, but clogging up my upper arms like crazy. This lotion has worked to get rid of the skin cells that were not allowing the pores to drain. Consistant use will help! A friend of min got a prescription from her dermatologist for the same problem, and when I looked at the active ingredient in the prescription, it was Lactic Acid, an AHA like the Glycolic Acid in this lotion. Have repurchased many times! Try it!

I bought this mainly to avoid post-shave bumps and ingrown hairs on my legs, and bumps on my upper arms. It got rid of the post-shave problems, but, while it did make my arms smoother, didn't get rid of the bumps on my arms (although I haven't been able to find anything that gets rid of them). It is rather expensive, but it's a huge bottle. Will repurchase unless I come across a miracle lotion that will get rid of those bumps
