This is my HG lip balm. I love that it tingles on your lips, it has sunscreen, it tastes good, and it moisturizes an relieves chapped lips. The only two downsides I can think of are that it can leave a white cast on your lips if you use too much, and it melts more easily than other balms. I love this in the summer and I use it for relief of minor cuts or itchy eyes from allergies if I don't have other stuff to address those things (I dab a little on the sides of the bridge of my nose to get eye relief). This stuff has replaced Carmex for me and I always have to have a tube around.

This has to be my most favorite lip balm. Great taste and flavor. And it's super moisturizing.

This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PRODUCT from C.O. Bigelow.
This makes my lips super soft. It freshens my breath, and makes my lips tingle. It feels cool and pleasant, and makes me feel so much fresher than without it.
I love it for the sunscreen value as well. Unlike some SPF lip balms, this one tastes fantastic!
As a side note, I was wearing this on a date and he finally pulled away and asked me what I was wearing on my lips to make his lips tingle. :-)

I have been searching for the perfect lip balm to replace Avon's wonderful plumping Lip Conditioner that they thought they just HAD to replace with something "better". I have found that replacement in Mentha Lip Balm - it might even be better. I love that the color is a creamy WHITE, it tones down my too pigmented lips and makes them look dewey without being glossy. Very sexy. A tad expensive but comparable to what I was paying for my Avon Lip Conditioner.

This is my HG chapstick!! Let me tell you, this product has NEVER let me down. I've been using this chapstick for 5 years. I've used Burt's Bees, Chapstick Brand, Softlips, EOS in the past, but I keep coming back to this one. I love the texture and the packaging. It's smooth and creamy, it also smells like mint. So if you lick your lips, it kind of gives you that minty breath lol. I just wish it was cheaper, but every now and then Bath and Body Works would have an OK deal on it. I think it's 3 for $15 when they have those promos.

I've gotten this twice as my coupon freebie.
It's minty and waxy. I don't use it as a lip balm actually; I use it as the perfect lip exfoliator. Mint has always been drying for me so the waxy texture keeps this on my lips as the mint peels away the dry skin. Works great for this purpose.
The "balm" has gotten stuck with both the tubes I got where I couldn't twist it back down. I guess it only needs to go one direction really since there's room in the cap, but still.

I was kind of disappointed about this product. I got this bec of all the great reviews here on MUA plus I was looking for a matte lip balm. This wasn't exactly matte, but doesn't give a lot of shine like most balms do either. Also, this lip balm isn't very moisturizing for me. I feel like it just sits on the surface of my lips, plus the tingly feeling whenever I put it on (I think it's the menthol that's doing it) is not exactly pleasant. I think it's actually irritating my lips a bit...I got 2 of this thinking it would be my everyday lip balm but will most likely not repurchase.

I love the taste/smell and the way my lips feel...BUT the consistency is too soft to be in a tube. It's globby and part of it gets stuck in the cap. They should have made it into a little pot instead.
Back to Burt's Bees original for me.

When I worked at Bath and Body Works, this was the one product that my husband always asked for. He went through several tubes during the year I worked there. Now that I work somewhere else, I don't like paying the hefty price.
This lip balm glides on smoothly and has that signature mentha scent, but has absolutely no shine whatsoever. A little bit goes a long way - my husband just blots it on - and it lasts for hours. I use it, too, especially under very drying lipsticks (since it won't add a shine underneath).
On quality alone, this is a 5 star product, but because it's so expensive, I had to drop it a lipstick.

I bought this thinking it would be about like Burt's Bees, which doesn't moisturize my lips. I was pleasantly surprised because this is very creamy and smells delicious. The price is a bit expensive, but if you get it when it's on sale (like right now) it's a bit better.

This is nice to use every now and then, so my lips don't build up a tolerance to my usual Burt's Bees. It's nice and creamy, with a pleasant minty quality. My only gripe is that it is somewhat overpriced. Mack it with a free-lip item coupon.

At first, I did not particularly like this balm. But, after using it for a week, I'm in love. It's perfect for me, and it tastes yummy. My lips get very dry and this helps so much. It's slightly glossy if you layer it on, but if you do one swipe its not. My boyfriend asked me where I got it, and now he wants one! I don't like the packaging simply because it always twists up by itself and when I open it there will be a quarter inch of product out. I would definitely recommend this to anyone though. The slightly poor packaging does not overshadow the quality formula.

Ugh! Ladies (and gentlemen) just buy a damn Chapstick. Don't waste your money on this; the consistency is disgusting, it doesn't moisturize, and the taste is unbearable. Will never purchase again.

I am a chapstick addict. If I don't wear any for a day, I go nuts. I have been through so many different types I can't even remember. Thats also partly because I lose them a lot. This is my absolute FAVORITE and I'm never going back. It moisturizes, its minty and it tastes good! I feel like other chapsticks after awhile stop working, and others when my lips are really dry just burn. But this one works great, and within one application of having chapped and flaky lips they are back to their normal soft self. Its $7.50 a piece, which for chapstick I think is a lot, but they always have deals. And honestly this thing works so good I'd be willing to pay even more. I've bought some other lip glosses from their line, and they are good too.

amazingggg! i use this & mac lip conditioner on and off ~ this product is very creamy for a lipbalm, which i love. it leaves my lips so soft.. plus the peppermint oil gives your breath a quick freshening up! :)
the only con i have that since it is very creamy, and i work in a store that's rather warm, it tends to kind of melt when i put it on my lips at times and it gets messy. but besides that minor detail, i will continue to repurchase this!

Just got this the other day. Love Love Love it! :) The smooth butter like finish with a mint taste is amazing. This is vying for my attention more than burts bees. I may be married to burts bees but the mentha lip balm is my mistress. Definitely recommended.

I think this may be my HG product. I love the matte finish and how buttery and smooth this applies. The spf 15 is what lured me in at first, but this surpassed all of my expectations and I will now buy this because it is a true moisturizing lip balm and not just for the spf. Much better than Burt's Bee's.

I just used up my first tube of this lip balm today, so I thought it was time for a review. First off, as you can guess, I loved this lip balm enough to use it up. (I am notorious for buying lip products and never finishing them.) It's oh-so-moisturizing and goes on like butter...without, you know, being as gross as butter. The packaging is standard twist tube, but looks pretty awesome with the black tube and white lettering, and the SPF 15 is a great bonus! It is a bit pricey at $7.50, but Bath and Body Works has those buy 2 get 1 free deals quite often, and this lip balm really is worth it. In fact, the girl at my local Bath and Body Works told me that every time they get this lip balm in, it sells out almost immediately. I'm going to be diligently stalking my Bath and Body Works until I get my hands on more of this stuff!

This is the just about the best lip balm I've ever used! It has a nice minty taste and creamy texture that isn't sticky and leaves my usually chapped lips feeling soft and moisturized. Sometimes it leaves my lips looking whitish and pale but it's nothing a layer of lip gloss can't handle. The biggest con is that it's pricey and runs out fairly quickly. So I'm definitely stocking up the next time it goes on sale :)
