I am pale with pink undertones, and my skin often looks dull due to my inability to tan. I use this product to up my glow, not to get a tan, which is why I rated it highly. Instead of applying this product to my entire face, I apply it to my cheeks, temples, and the bridge of my nose, basically all the places you would contour with bronzer. This gives my face warmth and definition. However, my artistry is often lost the second I exfoliate, a fact which I resent heavily. My skin is not sensitive and does not react negatively to this product, and I don't mind the light almond-y scent. The color it deposits is fairly orange on my pink skin, but does not look unnatural when applied in selected areas.

Although this product gave me a slight shimmery glow, it did not tan my face. I would not buy this product again due to the HORRID acne that it gave me. I used to have acne prone skin, got cleared up, and after using this product for about 4 days, I was developing new blemishes EVERY DAY. This product claims to be non-comedogenic, but it RUINED my skin :(

This works really well for my skin. I am oily/sensitive so I'm prone to products either giving me a breakout or eczema. This does neither. I like the color, not too orange, natural looking. The only thing I don't like is if I exfoliate it removes almost all of the color, but I use the medium/tan one (even though I'm light) and the color is regained pretty quickly, like in 2 uses. If you are lighter skinned but exfoliate often I would recommend using the medium/tan and putting it over a light moisturizer to give more natural color. The fair/light color doesn't seem to do much, at least on me.

Worst. Product. Ever. Ive used it 3 separate times now and each time it made me have the WORST breakout of my life. Like so bad i considered calling in sick to work--and i don't even have acne prone skin! I gave it a few different tries since it says its non comedogenic and oil free but clearly that doesn't mean anything. My skin was so pretty and clear and now i have a face full of this weird cystic acne and tons of white heads AND blackheads!! My chin is the worst---and its so bad i cant even cover it with make up. Ive been applying pimple medicine for weeks now and its getting a LITTLE better but now im peeling like crazy and my skin is wrecked. I just want it to get back to normal! It's been almost 3 weeks since ive used it and my skin is still a mess. I HATE you jergens. (side note---it took about 3, 4 days to break me out and the breakout has been nonstop for over 2 weeks now--its a NIGHTMARE. DO NOT BUY! i will never buy another jergens product after this!

I mix the Medium-Tan color with another moisturizer every morning. Didnt realize what an impact it was making until I ran out and stopped using it for a couple of weeks - I looked like a ghost!

(Using the Light-Medium isnt enough when mixed with another moisturizer - might as well have not used anything at all...)

I love this self tanner! I used to use the Clinique one but switches to this and will never change. I use it every night before I go to bed, along with the body self tanner and every morning my face looks a little darker but not crazy/orange dark. Just perfect sunkissed healthy look. In the summer I use a little bit more and then add on bronzer and I look as tan as if I had laid in the sun. The trick though is to use it regularly. If you use it just once a week you won't notice anything. I love this - I always stock up on it when I see it.

Not really a noticable difference in color. My acne had been at bay for quite sometime and now I have whiteheads all over my face. Thanks, Jergens.

No breakouts. Love that it's got SPF and its non-comodogenic. Smell is very subtle and goes away after you put it on. It made my face a liiiiiitttlleee more "golden" instead of tan (using medium-dark), but like some of the other reviews said, whatever color your face gets will wash off if you use toner n' stuff. I would love to buy this again if it held color longer. :(

Love how it goes into tan gradually, but after a few days of using it... I noticed the area around my mouth was WHITE. Ahh! Help?

This facial self-tanner didn't do too much to give my face a nice deep bronze glow. It did make my face a little darker (I purchased the medium-dark shade), but nothing outstanding. And once I washed my face, it seemed like what color did develop, came off, especially if I used astringent, toner, or any kind of exfoliating agent. I gave it a 3 lipstick rating (instead of 2) because it has SPF 20, which really comes in handy! SPF 15 doesn't seem to do much, but moisturizers with SPF 30 make my face feel greasy or heavy. It's oil-free too, which is always great for my face. This stuff is more like a light weight SPF moisturizer with the added bonus of a giving your skin a hint of natural glow.
For an awesome facial self-tanner that is oil-free, I use SoBronze Tinted Self-Tanning lotion for Face. It's a caramel colored lotion with the consistency of regular self-tanners for your body. It's got shea butter in it, so it makes my skin super soft. And it develops after about an hour into a really nice bronze color (probably not the best for people with really fair skin, it'll be orange).
Overall, Jergens Natural Glow for Faces is okay for the price, has added SPF, and is a nice light moisturizer... but when it comes to self-tanning your face, I'd look for another product.

I have very acne prone skin, but usually I get blemishes that don't hurt -some redness here and there, but nothing "cystic".
Well, I had been using this product and my skin got worse every day - I thought it was my vitamin-a-based face cream (vitamin a can break you out) but ... NO. I used this lotion by itself and it completely messed up my face. It doesn't matter if it's oil-free, probably there's something in the silicone-hydroaxyacetone balance that screws up the whole system.

The color is ok, but to really show some results it should be used twice a day. However, I am not using the product with sunscreens at night for no reason. The smell wasn't terrible either.

Too bad it hurts my skin!

I am very disappointed in this product. The very first time I used it made my skin breakout very badly especially around my chin (deep tissue boils) and I developed lots of blackheads allover only after 3 days of use. It was the first time I had ever used the products and had 1-2 other skin creams in my regime. I decided to discontinue the other products for two weeks and again try the Jergens Natural Face Glow without the potential that it was mixing with my other products and creating the problem. On the second time around, the same reaction occured and within a 2 days of use instead of 3. I will not ever use this product again.

This product does work if you use it daily. I liked the gradual natural glow and using it as a moisterizer. The only problem was, I broke out after a couple days using it. So I would only using for a couple of days and stopped for a week then start over to just finish what I have left. But I wont be buying another one.

Honestly, i didn't know whether i applied too much but the next day i woke up with a hint of color on my face. NOTE: this is a review after one day of application of this product. anyways, i think i applied way too much because i was literally ORANGE. i wasn't even tan, i was orange and everyone thought i was using orange blush or orange bronzer.

SO i stopped using this and it took 3 days for the tan to go away. I might try this product again but applied little cause i don't want to look orange

UPDATE - changed from 3 to 5 because I've been using this religiously for about a year now and I love it. Never breaks me out, and no longer makes me greasy (not sure if formula changed or just my skin).

I can tell if I don't use this for one single day. My skin starts looking sallow and pale.

I love the Jergens Natural Glow for Body, so I figured this would give me the same great results. It doesn't compare to the body version, but it does give a slightly bronze glow to my face. I use it at night because it makes my skin greasy. Haven't broken out yet, which is amazing because I'm pretty acne prone.

I'll use this bottle up but will be looking for a better facial tanner because this just wasn't what I was really looking for.

I have been using this for a few years now and I just now decided to review it(don't know why). It's not GREAT, but it's also not TERRIBLE. I break out really easily and extremely frequently, and I have never had a problem with this product, which is rare.

This works okay as a moisturizer, but I use it for the color payoff. I use it morning and night right after cleansing and it builds to a really natural color that makes me look more healthy and hides a lot of my acne scarring. I can wear less foundation when I use this. Here's the catch, though- you pretty much CAN'T exfoliate while you're using this. If you do exfoliate, all the color you have built up is gone immediately, which is a total waste. I don't know about you, but I can't get away with more than a week of no exfoliation, because the texture of my skin gets dull. So, basically, I use this all the time, but after exfoliating my skin is pale and I have to build the color again. Kind of annoying.

At first I liked this product because I had high hopes since i'm extremely pale. I thought this tanner was doing pretty good until I woke up the next morning and looked like a umpa lumpa. This stuff left streaks and even an hour after it dried up I felt slippery and gross. The smell lingers around and gets pretty strong even after I showered. Never again will I buy this again. I recently just got the foaming one thinking it would be different and I was wrong...The only difference is that the foaming tanner doesn't have a strong oder but still caused me to turn orange.
