It's just too light for me. It makes me look dead! I have a pale complexion but there are some rosy areas on my face (in all the WRONG places) and it is better for me to wear lipstick that is darker/brighter than those areas, at least. This would be a good choice for a person with an even complexion who wants to go with that pale-lips look.

I was really concern from the last poster's review that this product contains lead. So, I sent an email to L'Oreal and asked if this or any of their lipsticks contain any lead and this is what they had to say:

"We want to assure you that the L'Oréal Group is committed to upholding the highest standards of safety for all the products it makes and sells. Each and every ingredient used in our products has been thoroughly reviewed and tested by our safety team made up of toxicologists, clinicians, pharmacists and physicians.

Lipsticks are safe products that millions of consumers use every day. L'Oréal does not add lead or lead derivatives to any of its cosmetics products. It is important to note, however, that lead is naturally occurring in the environment and found in everyday substances like air and water. Consumers are exposed to lead every day. The average amount of lead a woman would be exposed to when using cosmetics is 1,000 times less than the amount she would get from eating, breathing and drinking water that meets EPA water standards."

Sooooo happy..I love this shade and good to know about the rest of their products! Inside the color looks very neutral and could be placed under the nude family. But, when you go outside, it's definately under the Rose/Mauve family. Rose was the first thing that came to mind but a very soft rose color. L'Oreal lipsticks have a tendency to feel try after a couple of hours but i've taken care of that by applying lip balm first, wait a few minutes before applying the lipstick and not only does it feel moist but last longer as well. Will definately repurchase for evening wear.

UPDATE: I will not repurchase b/c of lead content.

I will only re-purchase when there is a BOGO because they range at about $10 with tax near me (expensive for drugstore brand, IMHO). That being said, I LOVE these lipsticks. Rose Serenity is a sheer-ish beautiful rose/pink color...which can actually work for a neutral lip if you apply one coat only and cover with balm or gloss. I really love how moisturizing these lipsticks are. They have better staying power than MAC, for SURE.

This is absolutely lovely. The color is a sheer, though not too much so, creamy non shimmer cool mauve rose pink. It is just gorgeous. The texture is divine, I use it instead of lip balm it is so moisturizing. One of my favorite lipsticks ever.

Beautiful light pinky-mauve color (definately on the cool side); however, on me it can look purple'ish if I apply more than one or two coats. Lovely texture - soft, creamy and moisturizing. I probably won't buy this color again, only because there are so many Colour Riche shades to pick from.

This perfect, universal rose-colored lipstick worked amazingly with my fair skin, wasnt too muddy and had the perfect amount of shine!

An amazing, light, neutral toned mauve that flatters the heck out of my neutral FFF skin. In the same family as MAC Syrup, and just as flattering and versitale a color. I'm usually skeptical of claims of reforumlazation but my newly purchased Colour Riches actually do seem creamier and more moisturizing then my older tubes. I really liked Colour Riche before but now they're pretty much my favorite lipstick because the quality is so high and with coupons and BOGO sales I can pay about $3 a stick if I time it right.
