OPI's Copper Mountain Copper is a shimmery brick-redded medium copper polish. In ambient indoor lighting the very, very slight brown in this polish and the very, very slight gold mix together with the overall brick red color and turn this into a very warm copper color. However, in outdoor lighting or other types of bright light, this is a warm-toned brick red. I found that under most lighting it's a highly shiny, very shimmery, rich, warm-toned brick red. It's a very good fall red. Also, the polish has that lit-from-within quality where it seems darker around the edges and shines in the middle. The formula on this was a little thick but was easily corrected with some polish thinner. Two coats gave perfect opacity with no streaks. Drying time was very quick and rock hard in 20 minutes with Seche Vite. I was able to get four to five days out of this shade with only minor tip wear. Overall, while I like this color I'm still on the hunt for the "perfect" fall red. This one is definitely more copper than I would like but I would still use it/buy it again.

Cooper Mountain Cooper is not copper. It's red with a tint of orange/brown, just a tiny bit. It also has a pink tone. The finish is frosty shimmer.
The application is so easy and 2 coats give a complete opaque finish. I love this one as it's so good looking to my warm skin tone and I think lots of people will benefit from this color as this color is versatile and I am sure lots of people will like this color. As this is not just plain red shimmer. Wearing power is surprisingly excellent and it doesn't chip at all. I will repurchase this color again.

Such a pretty shade- not copperish at all, but a soft red, think red with a pinkish tinge. I use three coats to make it more durable. I'm always on the lookout for atypical shades and this fits the bill, as it's not your regular red. Like the frost quality.

I agree with several of the other reviewers- this is more of a soft frosty red rather than a copper color. The wearability has been great on me- 5 days with no chipping, though I did use a seche vite top coat. Definitely one of my favorite recent purchases!

OPI's Copper Mountain Copper is another one of those misleadingly-named polishes. It's not copper - it's a shimmery warm-toned dark brick red with a VERY, VERY slight copper undertone that is only visible at certain angles in bright light. Given all that, it's a beautiful fall color that's dark without being too vampy. The shimmery glow gives it depth and warmth. The only reason I'm knocking off one lippie is because of the formula. It was very gloopy and semi-hard to work with but opaque in two coats. Also I had slight chipping on the second day (even with Seche Vite topcoat) that I don't normally get with other OPI's. All in all, this one is right up there in my HG collection and I would definitely buy it again.

I don't get why OPI amuses itself with misleading color names. I mean, why call a brick red "My Kind of Brown"? Or, why call a rose with gold shimmer "Copper Mountain Copper"? All that "copper" has me expecting shiny pennies, and instead I get a perfectly lovely -- but misleadingly named -- rose red. The shimmer here is very subtle, more quiet glow than loud bling. The base color is a warm rose, but even so, I suspect this will look best on neutral-to-cool pale-to-medium skintones. On pale warm me, the pink in the rose overrides the gold in the shimmer. For a similar idea, but more red and clearly more warm-toned, try OPI Russian to a Party. Wear and application are excellent, as to be expected with OPI.

This is a warmish medium brick red with a subtle copper shimmer. Very pretty and wearable, without being in your face. 2 coats for coverage.

WOW! i love this color! I'm warm-toned and it suits my coloring extremely well IMHO :) this is a warm mid to dark toned (but not vampy) red with a copper/gold shimmer. I absolutely adore it! not too bright, not too dark, not too cool..ahhh just right :D
Opacity- full coverage after two coats
Wear-typical OPI wear- terrific!
Tone- warm/neutral

I'm so shocked that there aren't any reviews for this shade yet. It is a d/c and somewhat hard to find OPI, but there are a few out there. Its not copper in my opinon, but more of a warm shimmery red/brown. The first coat looked a little coppery, but with the second coat, it turned more reddish. It really is hard to describe. I really like the way this color looks and I can see myself wearing it year round. Its on the warm-side, but it works for me and I'm a cool.
