A middle-of-the-road bronzer in formulation. A bit too powdery for my liking. The color does not work for my NC25/30 skin. Just too orange.
Note: My rating was based solely on the formulation, not the color.

For my first review (yay!) I need HG stuff! I've been forever looking for the perfect matte bronzer which wouldn't turn orange on my fair skin. This one by Cargo is THE ONE.
PROs:
.The powder is super soft and the color payoff is good. I can use it for bronzing or contouring since it hasn't got glitters whatsoever. On me it lasts around 6 hours.
.I think it has something like pink undertones in it, because it balances well my neutral-yellowish complexion without washing me out.
.The tin is huge and I suppose it will last me forever. I've been using it for almost a year and I haven't hit the pan yet!
CONs:
.If you own other blush/bronzers from Cargo you can't tell which product you're grabbing without opening it or reading the label on the back, which I find quite annoying.
.It's a bit expensive, but definetly not a splurge! ;)
It's my HG bronzer and I love it!

To me, this is the best matte bronzer (and since I only like matte bronzers, it should be called the best bronzer). The color is perfect, the pigmentation is great, it blends well, and it lasts, plus you get a lot. The packaging is not what I would have preferred, but it's not bad, and it doesn't deter me from using this regularly.

A bronzer that actually looks good when outside in natural light. No shimmer, great color (when applied carefully - too much and it's obvious), love the texture and the amount of product. Another HUGE plus for me is this does NOT break me out or irritate my skin, which isn't always easy to do. I was skipping bronzer for a while until I discovered this, mostly because I found many bronzers to be too orange and too dang shiny!! This is the perfect color and the fact that it's matte makes it a star in my book. Other thing, the price can't be beat. I know it's $28, which is steep when you first think about it. However, you get sooo much, and considering it's a bronzer and you shouldn't really be using a ton of it, it lasts forever. I mean I just hit pan and I've had this well over 2 years. LOVE!!

I have been wearing this for years and thought I would leave a review. I love this bronzer. The texture is great and the colour is perfect for my NW/NC 20 skin. I like that it doesn't leave my skin shimmery and it is the perfect shade to wear all year around. Definitely recommend!

For my NC30 complexion, this product is perfect! True, even color that is buildable and blendable. I use this everyday to contour my face and cheekbones and because of the matte finish, I can use this day or night.

When Cargo went on sale, I realized I must go run and get my Medium! However, they were sold out. I ended up picking up this one and medium water resistant instead. I didn't realize how much I use this bronzer, but I hit pan today! For a south asian golden tan complexion like mines, it really just accentuated and sculpts my face. I really like the effect this gives. It looks like a chalky peachy bronze when swatched, but it is really natural on and does show up on my skin (nc35-40).I do like glow so sometimes I add a bit of the stila highlighting powder in bronze on my cheek bones or cargo medium. Definitely try this one if you are looking for a matte bronzer.

I also bought this 50% at Sephora as they are not selling CARGO there once supplies have run out. You can order directly from the CARGO website which is what I had to do to buy the lipglosses. I have loved everything from them. Lipstick, lipgloss, blush and the bronzer. It is natural looking and matte which I like. I am 42 and dont like too much shimmer now as it accents the lines. If I can't find anything at Sephora I always go to the company direct and sometimes they run their own specials and deals. Sometimes they are even cheaper than at Sephora.

This is my newest HG bronzer. I was getting tired of the shimmer from my NARS' Laguna bronzer and was searching high and low for the perfect matte bronzer (you wouldn't believe how difficult it actually is to find a bronzer with zero shimmer). I'm so happy I discovered this product before Sephora decided not to carry CARGO anymore :( I picked up on their 50% off sale and stocked up on 2 extra bronzers, so I'll be okay for awhile. I do wish CARGO would make it easier to identify their blushes and bronzers though; the only way I can identify my Catalina blush from Medium Matte bronzer is the dent on one of my pan lids. Other than the identification issues, I actually like the simplistic packaging. The bronzer itself is a gorgeous warm color and does not make me look muddy or orange at all. (light-medium Asian tone). I love it.

OMG OMG OMG. I loveeeeeee this bronzer! SO much pigmentation! Too bad sephora had the 50% off sale, they're discontinuing it at Sephora. I have no clue how else I'm going to hunt one of these babies down when I hit pan :( Sigh.
I'm NC25 for reference.

I bought a back up this week at Sephora b/c Sephora will no longer be carrying Cargo. It was 50% off, which is great b/c I would have bought it again at full price. The color is perfect if you're going for a very natural tan look. Not too orangy, ruddy, peachy or bronzy... just a straight up tan color. I use it to contour my face and create that hollow, then I apply Benefit High Beam, MAC Strobe, or any mineral cheekers over it for a nice glow. Absolutely recommend it!

This is one of the very few products that I've hit the bottom of the pan. I don't think I've had a single product that has stayed in my makeup bag for as long as it has and there is obviously a reason for this. It not only gives me a naturally tanner look (because I'm already medium tan), but I also use it to sculpt my face. I love that it doesn't have shimmer, otherwise I would look fake and oily. Unless your skin is maturing or matured (i.e. you've lost "the glow"), I would suggest a non-shimmery, matte bronzer like this. Otherwise you'll end up looking like Mariah Carey. Does anyone notice how she's always glowing? It's kinda creepy. Oh another reason why I don't use shimmery bronzer is because I use NARS Orgasm blush, which is a little shimmery in a good way when applied with a stippling brush. Always keep face makeup balanced between shimmery and matte. Anyway, I also like the container, which is a neat little silver tin. Definite repurchase.

This was just dirty on me, because I guess I'm too blue for it. My mom has darker skin (pale to medium) and she stole it from me and she loves it, and gets lots of complements. I liked the matte aspect, but the regular light bronzer seems to be a better fit for me, since as my friend pointed out in the midst of my peach-eyeshadow search, I'm pretty peach to begin with, so a peachy bronze blush is just what I need to look natural.

This is my first bronzer, and I like it alot. The color looks very natural on my fair skin, not orange at all. I would say deifnately a peachy-bronze brown. I like that it's matte, because it doesn't make my skin look shiny. Good product!

I was so excited to try this because of all the great reviews but unfortunately this was a complete dud for me. WAY too orange for me. I am light (MAC NC 20-25) and yellow toned but this stuff looked so orange on me it was ridiculous. The other thing is that this stuff didn't last on my skin for more than 15 minutes. I was really shocked at how quickly it disappeared from my skin but given the horrible color it gave me I guess that was a blessing in disguise. Back to my beloved EL Bronze Goddess.

I loved Mally bronzer but this is even better. It has no sparkle and looks like you have been outside and caught a glow. I love a natural look and this gives me just the look I want when I am outside riding my horses. Use this over your entire face for a soft warm glow also can be used for contouring. I have not had trouble with the packaging as some have.

I really like this bronzer. Not shiny/shimmery at all. Yet gives you a nice glow. Not the cheapest out there, but not the most expensive. Its probably best for fair-medium skin, but not for dark. It goes on smoothly and gives a realistic color.

i love to go to the pool and i usually take my makeup with me. alot of my other bronzers crack with the humid air. i wanted a matte brozer so i dont look too fake at the pool (you know natural tas dont come in shimmery). my friends suggested Cargo bronzers so i bought the matte one... its amazing i had it all last summer and through the winter (it also survived my school bag which is a miracle!) im deffinately buying it again this summer!
the only thing i dont like is that the lid comes off completly, i prefer hinged cases.

I have been searching for a matte bronzer since most shimmer bronzers look shiny on my skin. I tried this and i LOVE it. It's great for all over coverage or just for contouring. Similar to NARS laguna, but without the shimmer
