I was surprised that I really really liked this color. It's a highly pigmented eyeshadow that goes on like a dream. It's very easy to blend and has a sheen finish. I like UD eyeshadows but most of them are SLAMMED with glitter, which is why I was overjoyed when they came out with their Deluxe eyeshadows. It looks really good when you pair it with the UD Roach eyeliner and wing it out.

I love that these eyeshadow are VERY pigmented. Heat is such a pretty burnt reddish orange! I love how it looks on my skin tone! The only reason I wouldn't want to purchase this product again, is because there is so much product in there! AND I would love to broaden my horizon by checking out more of UD's funky eyeshadow colors!

I really like the color, it just does not show up as vibrant as it does in the pan. It isn't really red, more like a burnt reddish orange. It takes a lot of layering to get a good effect. I love Urban Decay, but I really don't see what makes the Deluxe shadows any better than the regular ones. They do have good pigment, but so do the regular ones. I don't find myself reaching for it that often- I prefer Nars Emanuelle for the red look. Sometimes I will use this over the lid and the Emanuelle in the crease and outer V, and I guess that is why I keep hanging on to it.

I love this one. First of all the texture is velevety soft and smooth. The color is a red/orange shade, but i wish it would show up more vibrant on me like it does in the compact.

Brown eyes look great in this color. I use it with the UDPP and it stays on all day. Just a few hints with this color.... You can scrape some off and mix it with some clear lip gloss and it makes a pretty lip gloss. Also can be used as a blush. Hi-light with Urban Decays "X" and baked in the crease. I love it! I do not use it everyday because I have like 500 eye shadows but it is a great color!

This is a pretty and kinda unique color. Pigmented and silky in texture. Definately not an everyday color or one that can be worn effortlessly, but looks good blended with neutrals or browns. Doesnt come off on skin as red as it looks in the pan. Mine got a little chip out of it after the first time I used it. Not a must have in my opinion.

I bought this from Sephora with a mall gift certificate.

PRODUCT:
Beautiful shade, kind of a berry-red that blends well with browns. Silky to apply. Eyeshadow cake shattered within a couple days of owning it, though, and eventually fell out over the floor.

PACKAGING:
The packaging broke almost immediately, which was horrifying given the cost. The plastic dome popped off, and then the clasp became "tricky."

I wouldn't buy it again simply because of the packaging --- it's too wasteful and too fragile for even normal handling. It's a pity because the shadow itself was wonderful.

this is a pretty interesting color. In the store the color looked horribly intimidating, but I tried it on a whim and immediately fell in love with the color. It is a very pretty berry color with a hint of orange and gold like metallic. It's really hard to describe but it looks wonderful. it is heavily pigmented soI have to remind myself to be careful or else I'd look like a circus clown, LOL! I like to play this color up on my lids, then tone it up or down with a medium gold or warm, muted purple. I like trying different color combinations with this shadow. If I ever run out of this shadow (which won't happen for a while since it's so pigmented) I would happliy but it again!

First of all, I have to say the packaging for this is absolutely adorable. the colour of the eyeshadow is a very bright red in the package, but when applied it turns to a nice berry red colour. the texture as well as formula is perfect and it applies/blends very well.

Adorable packaging, great warm colour.

I team it with a little black or navy eyeliner for definition and then I blend it onto my lower eyelid and a tiny bit under the lower lid. It really makes my eyes (green) pop more than any other colour can and it's different without screaming, "LOOK AT ME." It can also be vamped up for Halloween and it glides on really smoothly.

Pleasantly surprising, but I'd only recommend if you're game enough to go red!

I ordered this online and was really excited to get it. I tried it today, no more excitement. It is NOT highly pigmented. You would need to pile it on and on to get a bold color, it's very sheer. For $17 it's not a good quality. I like bold color and this does not give it like I thought it would. I wanted a bold red as it looks online and in the container. Then try to blend it and it almost dissapears! I used UDPP as a base and it still looked bad. I think I will be sticking with MAC from now on....

This zen little compact has become a staple in my makeup routine for many reasons.

PACKAGING: adorable little compact with pretty asian inspired design. I like that each compact is a different color, corresponding with the eyeshadow shade, making it easy to locate among all the other products in my makeup bag.

PRODUCT: highly pigmented, rich shade of red tinged with orange and hot pink. This is a very complex color which brings out the greenish gold in my light brown eyes. Most amazing though, is the fact that this color makes GORGEOUS blush! When applied high on the cheekbones, it gives a flushed, sexy glow. I also love to create a monochromatic look by mixing it with a little lip balm (I use Smith's Rosebud Salve) and applying it like a sheer lip gloss. Fabulous!

PRICE: $17 at Sephora- I have had this since December, use it almost daily, and haven't even made a considerable dent due to the dense pigmentation of the product. That, coupled with its many uses, makes it a bargain in my book. A must have in every way!

I am really suprised that I liked this color! I got it on ebay because it was cheap- otherwise I never would have bought a red shadow, but it's really a kind of gold-toned orange red shimmer, almost a more red version of Stila's salsa. I feel like it's a bright blush for my eyes! I got away with wearing it to work, but probably won't try again. It is very bright and I have an olive skin tone, so I would NOT recommend it for fair skinned girls at all unless you want a pretty punk rock look. Plenty of shadow, cute packaging, and will likely last forever.

I was looking for a nice coral and this is pretty close. Corals look great on me. It is a bit more red than I'd like, but I like it. The packaging is super-cute, quality is exceptional. I said I would buy it again, but of course I won't because I am an addict and I own so much eyeshadow that I will never run out. I rarely ever hit pan on a shadow, even one that I love.

I really like this color, although wearing it alone (dry) can make you look like you have some kind of rash on your eyelids. I haven't tried it on wet yet, but I'm hoping that might help get rid of the irritation look. If not, that's okay. I'll just have to layer it with a darker red.

I was hoping this e/s would look more orange than red but unfortunately for me it is definately more red. :( The color is super pigmented and extremely vibrant. Great artsy packaging too! I wore this out at night and one other time during the day (made my eyes look irritated during the day and they weren't). It is a little too severe for daytime so keep this a night color. It tends to look a bit drag-queenish too. I don't mind, I love bright bold colors. I washed this all over my lid with midnight cowboy as a highlighter then rimmed my eyes with the Zero (black) 24/7 eyeliner. Awesome look!
