This is NOT your regular blush stick, at least not in this color, I believe from experience the other colors are a lot more sheer and don't last long. But Rouge is a very pretty true med toned to darker pink and it is TENACIOUS. I really don't need to wear the Dior Strawberry Sorbet over it I love so much, but the two together last truly over eight hours and look a lot better than Tarte AC, I think. This is a good find, nothing out there like it if you like this color.
UPDATE: this is a daily must for any blush, I now have Dior Sugar and Spice (a better version of Tarte Exposed IMHO) and with the stick underneath the color does not change as I always like blushes with some rose in them but it makes my blush last a TRUE 8 HOURS! Tried it with Nars Amour and it did not last more than 3. The combo is great. Stick is dry, though.

Here's the thing, I hate it when makeup looks powdery or cakey! Many girls will agree!!!
This blush looks very natural on the skin, no powdered look, no cakey look, JUST NATURAL!

The trick to it is dab it on with your fingers so that it's not TOO intense!
OR
Sometimes I use a flat foundation brush, brush it on the stick, then brush it on my cheeks.

Easy to wash off, does not itch my skin or clog my pores (so far!), does not leave marks on any pillows or clothes. :D ENJOY!

I bought it almost a year ago and for a while I didn’t find it useful, so I was quite disappointed because I always have great expectations with Shiseido products.
Some months after I realize I have already spent money in it so I should give it a second chance and thanks God I did it. It’s a great product. It’s not only a blush, but a shadow and lipstick (apply lip balm before) all-in-one, that’s why it’s called “color stick” right?
It’s all you need when you’re in a hurry, and if you get other shades you can be sure that with two color sticks in your purse you can make wonders in just minutes.
It is so silky, soft and creamy that you can apply it with your fingers, brush or sponge, and you don’t have to worry about overdoing it, like with tints.
Even with the limited range of colors (6), I’m sure you can find one that fits you fine, and then you will try to get them all.
Specifically about the Rosy Flush shade (which was the first one I bought), it’s a beautiful neutral rosy color that looks flattering in almost any skin tone. It has a really subtle shimmer, so it gives you a beautiful natural healthy glow, but in an oil free and waterproof product.
Shiseido color sticks are really a fool proof makeup; you can make no mistakes with it. Pricey? Maybe, but worth every penny.

This is a worthwhile investment. I have had this blush stick for almost 3 years, and it only cost 30 dollars--you do the math, but I would say that is worth it, when you break it down into months. You only need a tiny dab of it to get a great effect because it's highly pigmented. It also rubs in very smoothly.

I am still amazed every time I put it on, how great it looks and very natural, not "makeup-y". It has a lovely scent, too.

Perfect for travel or just to make your routine simpler. I use it on both cheeks and lips, using just a touch and blending well. I adore the subtle smell.

I liked the Shiseido Color Stick in "Champagne Flush" so much that I went to Macy's and picked up "Rouge Flush" too. It works really well as a blush because it gives you that "naturally flushed" look. Keep in mind that this does contain shimmer, but the shimmer particles are fine enough to not look overdone or overly flashy. I am pretty lazy when I get out of bed (not a morning person), so I like to keep my makeup routine short and simple when I have to wake up really early. This Color Stick is great because the color is so blendable and buildable. Instead of having to grab my blush brush, dip it into powder blush, and strategically sweep the color on my cheeks, all I have to do is drag this across each side of my face (creating two upward slanting swipes) and then blend it in! I know it sounds very hasty and unprofessional, but it works! Even with regular cream blush, I still have to dot three spots of color on each cheek before carefully blending just to get a believable flush. The Shiseido Color Stick requires even less effort than that! I also really like the texture, which feels creamier and softer than the NARS Multiple. Even though I have the Multiple in "Malibu" and they are similar colors, I reach for "Rouge Flush" much more often. It's also $4 cheaper than NARS ($33 compared to $37).

I stay in the tropics and play a lot of tennis. Never like to go bare faced when I hit the courts (or where ever for that matter, love makeup too much) so I'm forever looking for makeup that will go the mile. I wear waterproof mascara (Chanel inimitable), and MAC paint pots for the eyes (these will not streak and will stay, even with humidity and all the sweating. Shiseido HydroPowder is also good). Tried so many brands of cream blush: Stila CC, MAC, Benetint, Estee Lauder Tender Blush, Bloom Gel and find that this one has the most staying power. Colour is great even after 2 hours of vigorous tennis. Looks exactly the same like the flush one gets after fully exerting herself. No "sweat running down your face" streaks either. Worth the money, since even though I'm a makeup junkie and have LOTS of makeup, this cheek colour is one that I always reach for even when I'm not doing any sports. Very versatile, easy to blend and control.

This is my 1st and favorite blush! The color is amazing, if you have darkish-yellowish skin but the thing is that it doesn't really last long.

I will add my glowing review to this blush. I have the same skin tone as everyone else here....fair and cool. This blush looks so natural and lasts all day long. I also use it on my lips--goes on like a dream. Then I add some gloss over the top as it goes on matte on your lips. I used to use Stila magnolia convertible color but that color was discontinued. This shiseido blush is even better--hooray!!

I have been happy with almost all Shiseido products and this is no exception. I am fair and cool toned with dark brown hair and green eyes. The Rouge is perfect in my cheeks and lips. Packaging is perfect with a wide twist-up stick. This will last me forever, so I find it to be a great value. Creamy texture that blends into skin and appears that you're radiating from within. Lasts all day on my combo skin.

This is an AMAZING product. You only use it sparingly, and it lasts all day! The color blends so smoothly and evenly, and it looks very natural, yet the color is gorgeous on. It is also excellent quality. A little pricey, but you don't need to use much at all, so it lasts a long time and is worth the price. Great to toss in a bag.. can be used on eyes, lips, and cheeks! Love it!

I just purchased this product about 2 months ago and I am not regretting I did not wait for the "peach flush" to come back to stock. These blush sticks are sheer that lighter color would have disappeared under the powder, I think. I used to have "rosy flush" but this looks way better on my skintone. I am light and cool skintone with brown red hair and blue eyes. I like this petter than Nars. I find this more blendable. Looks like natural blush.

Love this! I also have rosy flush and bronze flush. This one is a deeper brick'ish red. It makes my cheeks look like Penelope's in "all the pretty horses" - kind of a windburned cedar red color. Great staying power and finish.

Wow, these color sticks really have a lot of color! A lot of times people complain that their blush fades, this is especially true of people who are using Mineral Makeup that isn't compatible with powder blushes. The color sticks (all of them!) are so dosed with color that only the most sheer application is necessary and they last all day! In some cases, they come off as really bright, so the key is to blend, blend, blend! I'm a big fan of them and think they are one of the beauty industry's best kept secrets, the overlooked great product. This color Rouge really packs a wallop. One thing that might be confusing to users is that these tend to seem more sheer than other cream blushes, but they really aren't. So those using a powder blush might take some adjusting to get used to the proper amount of color relative to what you used in the past. I find that I do best when I apply a bit of color just across the very upper cheekbone, not below, approximately that area just below the center of the eye and then outwards. For anyone using a powder foundation, these sticks are just the ticket. Rouge has a deeper pigmentation of cherry color than the pink stick. It doesn't smear and holds true to the color all day. I just love this product and barely make a dent in mine despite daily use (I have peach and bronze also).

If you want a blush that will last you the whole day WITHOUT RETOUCHING, then this is it! I currently live in a very humid environment and this one never failed me whenever I use this. I apply this 7 in the morning and after all the sweat, grime and the minor wiping using a tissue or a blot paper even when I go home at 7PM surprisingly this product is still there on my cheeks!

I'm not really a fan of creme or stick form blushes but this one surely gets my vote for one of the best blush stick =)

This is a new product from Shiseido. There are four colors for you to choose. The rouge is a gorgeous rosy red. I know many pale girls love the peach stick since this rouge color can be a bit too bright on their skin. I have tanned skin, so the rouge color looks gorgeous on me while the peach one doesn't show up as well as the rouge. The texture is really lovely - creamy, easy to blend, soft to the touch. The price is quite reasonable as well!
