I love this company but I was a little bit disappointed in this product. The website says this is great for applying mineral makeup, which is my makeup of choice. The price is reasonable at $17.50 and I got it for 20% during their most recent sale.

The coverage was decent but the thing that would stop me from re-purchasing is that the bristles are a little bit scratchy. It does shed a bit every time I use it - very short strands. I have washed it at least 12 times and it still sheds. The fact that the strands are short is even more annoying b/c it is more likely I will overlook one and walk around with it on my face all day. I am used to using Everyday Minerals' flat top and the Eco Tools bronzer brush, which are super soft and rarely shed. I prefer these two brands of brushes over MUAC's for applying mineral makeup.

I have been avoiding my liquid fdtn b/c it is so time consuming to apply with my fingertips. This brush works very well for applying my liquid foundation. It even took less time to apply than my MMU. I will be using this brush for this purpose but I still would not buy again because of the scratchiness.

I bought this to use with mineral make up but found it to work much better with liquid foundation. It did shed quite a bit in the beginning but not much at all anymore. I really wanted the MAC version but refuse to spend that amount on a brush. After washing /drying and a good shake or two my brush worked well. I pour my liquid foundation on the back of my hand then dab the brush, using a tapping motion ( stippling ) I tap my foundation on my face. I do follow uo with my MAC 190 foundation brush just around the nose and eye region where the flat brush does not reach well. The finish is great, smooth, all pores filled, nice coverage. Ocassional stray brush hairs but for the difference in price of the MAC version vs Italian Badger my money is going on a great foundation and a cheaper brush.

I use this brush to apply my Youngblood mineral makeup that I got from MUAC and I like it. It's very soft. I have the full sized brush and it doesn't shed any more than a normal makeup brush. I'm not getting nearly the shedding as the other individual that wrote a review before mine. I would buy again

i have the "baby" travel size of this brush, i really like this brush, i use it w/ my jane iredale foundation & it feels like it goes on more evenly, i used to use the domed brush but i like the flat top better. upon the first few uses, i noticed a little bit of the hairs ended up on my face, but nothing a little brushing off couldn't do, i think it's stopped shedding, it will definatley rebuy as i think it's a good price.UPDATE: it hasn't stopped shedding, not only are the whole strands coming out, but bits & pieces like its' been cut off is falling out as well, it's really only a few pieces on the skin, but i don't think a good quality brush would be shedding for this long.
